  1. CEO's Office Nikki went over to her desk and began rummaging in its drawers. “I think I have some of those ear buds in here somewhere. Oh no there’s no board, I’m the sole owner I bought them all out.†She met Synth eyes and look of something, pain or sadness, flashed across them. “The board, like my husband, didn’t agree with my methods. Their business practices were of the old fashion, of the old fashion Genghis Khan style of methods. If my husband hadn’t fallen into a coma…†she stopped a wiped away a tear “but enough of that let’s get you prepared for these meetings.â€
  2. Auto N Warehouse The Cab driver looked shocked and began a weak progress, but seeing Starlight demeanour though better of it. The cab had begun to pull away as Starlight entered the warehouse. The warehouse space a massive structure was filled with machinery. Large tanks of the Pink Goo the previous Shapeshifter had been composed of. In banks around these tanks were row upon row of human shaped moulds, enough for an army. Starlight felt a strange tingling feeling and it took a few seconds to realize that it actually some kind of scan. Just as realization dawned a large booming voice filled the building, a voice speaking in her own tongue. <â€I was not aware you currently had plans for this planet. May we offer assistance in your invasion?â€>
  3. Lucy swore loudly in several languages, and quite a few creative ways. “I see what you mean. I guess they get a lot of visitors.†She could get into the grounds easily but she didn’t want to break the law unless she really had to, and if she did break in Jake might follow. And she had enough to worry about without having to baby sit such a rabid fan. Still one more trick to try before she when for the direct approach. “But I am on official business; I bring word from the Master.†There was a chance this had been tried before, but she had nothing to lose.
  4. “The Haitian and I tussled, but we managed to come to an arrangement.†Lucy wondered if she should mention the whole deal, but thought it best to leave it out for now. “He left there service in less than friendly terms, so I know he wouldn’t still be involved.†Lucy then considered Pyre’s words. “The current Don blames me for destroying the power of the family, but he’s also trying to bring the family back into power. I suspect he’s trying to use fear and intimidation to bring the local gangs over to his side. That’s probably why the gangs around Southside have been so jittery the last few months. This murder might be enough to bring them over to his side, unless we can stop him.â€
  5. Rolling from Pop Culture you'd only know about fictional and publicly known robe wearers. for the real deal you'd need Arcane Knowledge. Apart from Buddist monk and nun (who don't normally wear hoods), the most famous fictional Yellow robe wearer is the The King in Yellow.
  6. Greenbank The taxi continued it journey out into the warehouses of Greensbank, before finally pulling up outside one of the larger warehouses. The only detail that made it stand out from the other was the name Auto N painted in large letters on the side of the building. The “Paramedic†left the cab, ignoring the creative calls of the driver and walked through a side door in the warehouse. After a few second, where the cab driver must have been deciding if it was worth it, he followed the Paramedic into the Warehouse.
  7. CEO’s Office Nikki gave a little laugh as she pulled on a battered looking Freedom U swearshirt. “Sound like me old Political Science lecture’s. I’d understand if you didn’t want to do this, but let me tell you about the two meeting I’ve got first.†She pulled on a pair of battered jeans and looked for all the world like a University Student, rather than a CEO of a powerful corporation. “The first is to finalize a donation to a Battered Woman’s shelter, the second is a buyout of a Biotech company. I strongly suspect they’re doing bio-weapons research. And I plan to strip out the bad influences and set it to more peaceful means.†She pulled on a pair of pink converse and went to look out of one of large windows offering a view of the city. “This city has a tradition of Ethical Corporations and I want to make Roseus one of them. For the sake of my husband, among others…â€
  8. Damn this Cold Front was slippier than a barrel full of eels. No chance trying to pin her down, time to return to more direct methods. Whilst it wouldn’t hurt if the two of them got away, they hadn’t really achieved much and there were enough hero’s in this city. But pride wouldn’t let them get away without a fight. “I’m glad you’re friends enjoying herself. Why don’t you stay and carry on playing.†Ripples of energy pulsed over her body, building in waves of power until it shot out towards Cold Front.
  9. Toughness Save 1d20+8=27, so that should be okay. Going to try and hit Cold Front with a blast 1d20+7=9, oh that's not going to hit lets spend a HP for a reroll 1d20+7-2=11, so that would be a 21.
  10. Diplomacy 1d20+10=19, another +4 if he thinks my voice is sexy ;)
  11. Lucy watched the body being taken out of the apartment and Pyre’s visible reaction to the corpse. “Yes I think the roof top would be a good idea. Whiplash it’s your territory do you want to pick out a spot?†Once they had found a suitable rooftop Revenant started to fill the other two in “Now we’re alone call me Lucy, it’ll make a lot of things make more sense. Back in the 1920’s there was a powerful mafia family call the Giovanni. Until their boss got taken down by a young lawyer called Lucy Harker.†She paused to let this sink in “The current head of the Giovanni family is trying to regain power but any means possible. First he started with super humans like Lady Fatale, then he turned to magic. Though I’m not sure what he’s turned to now…â€
  12. Maybe there was something in these books, but all she saw was a code for being made a vampire. Or maybe another one like herself? Only one way to find out. “I’ve got some catching up to do, but I’ll see if we can get an interview. At least I can get this book signed for you.†She gave another friendly smile. She walked over to the intercom and pressed the button, hoping that this approach would gain her entrance. “Hello there I’m Lucy Harker a mutual friend of Bloody Nora. I’d like to come in and talk to Ms Stone about Kollwitz.â€
  13. CEO’s Office Nikki came out of the shower wrapped in a towel. “Actual I have an idea. This place is fitted with a Panic Room; I’ve only got a couple of meeting to finish up. If you want I could hide in the Panic Room whilst you finish up my business.†She gave a little smile “I’m sure you couldn’t bankrupt me in a single afternoon, but I would have to listen into the conversation.†Rooftops of the City This was too easy; the cab was taking the back streets and the quiet roads. It was almost as if the shifter wanted Starlight to follow. The Cab made quick progress, despite it strange course, and was soon heading out of Downtown towards West Freedom.
  14. Lucy raised an eyebrow. Selling the secret of immortality via a Dadaist style cut-up. An intresting idea. But something was missing, why was she doing this, and why were Jake and his kind grappling for her secrets? “There must be people who put this all together; the reward must be pretty special. After all there are plenty of ways to gain immortality.†After all I managed to do it “What’s so special about the brand of Immortality that she’s selling?†She gave a friendly encouraging smile; she hated to play people like this but needs must.
  15. Damn Canadian Goths they're so Emo Bluff Roll 1d20+16=36, that just might work!
  16. She checked her sunglasses before replying, she didn’t really want the man to see her Black eyes and get the wrong idea. “Lucy Harker.†she gave a broad smile and took his hand. She wished she had taken time to read some of her content, it might have helped. Oh well maybe she could find out a little from Jake. “I really hope she can see me, we’re distantly related and I was in town for business so I thought I’d look her up. I’d heard she was writing but I’ve never found the time to finish her book. Maybe you could tell me a little about her work?â€
  17. Her instincts were screaming to do more research; she had spent far too many days as a Lawyer rather than a hero. And as she had a deadline before she had to return to Freedom City, however she would achieve that, time was of the essence. So after a few minutes of standing around getting the feel of the area, a checking that it wasn’t too early she was still on East Coast time, she made her way up to the front door of the house where Veronica Stone lived. She’d though of a plan of how to approach this as she waited for the door to be answered. Best to be Lucy Harker than Revenant. If the woman knew nothing, and she didn’t expect to be well known outside Freedom City, she was just another fan who loved the authors Goth stylings.
  18. “Yes there is some kind of bad vibes about this room, and we all seem to be after the same people so let’s take this outside.†Even though this was an area where people general appeared not to pay attention a small crowd had gathered and the driver of the CSU truck was currently trying to park up with adding another incident to the day. The three hero’s obviously go a lot of attention especial Pyre, who couldn’t help to stand out in the crowd. “This may be a little too crowded to compare notes, does anyone have somewhere nearby we can go?â€
  19. Agnes had to bite down a sarcastic response she wasn’t sure why, no she knew exactly why. She had seen scores of women like her that got success through their natural talents. She felt tired and not a little homesick. “I was going to say you don’t realise how much power you have. But you do don’t you? People are willing to die for their little Nightingale, and what do you do with that power?†she kept everything calm and gave a little sigh “I wish you could see where I come from. It’s not perfect but there are people who are trying to make things better for everyone. And one of those people just saved your life.â€
  20. Branson's Plaza The shapechanger wasn’t even bothering to hide his form, walking out if the lobby of the building still in his paramedic form. By now the security had been down and the square was beginning to quieten down, but crowds were still mingling around in case anymore drama was about to start. The shifter didn’t seem to worry about any of this instead he took a straight-line path through the plaza sending several people flying. Ignoring the cry and yells of the people he had sent reeling he instead made his way down to the curb. At the curb he hailed a cab as if nothing had happened.
  21. CEO's Office The CEO didn’t seem overly surprised by Synths transformation; instead she unsteadily got on her feet to check on her slightly shocked PA. After convincing the poor woman she’d be okay and to make sure Rosemary got sorted. Only then did she turn her attention back to Synth. “Please call me Nikki.†She looked Synth up and down “I think you good in anything, especially with that face.†Synth wasn’t quite sure, but she didn’t seem completely serious. “But this blouse is ruined. Please follow me.†She led Synth to a walk in closet filled with beautiful expensive clothes; beyond which was a bathroom, both of which were probably bigger than some of the dives Synth had stayed in. “My poor husband had these fitted. I’ve not quite decide a better use for these room yet, but at least today they have a use. Take what you want… I know you hero types don’t normally take rewards, but I was going to donate most of them to charity soon anyhow.†She took a small card and wrote something in letter that Synth didn’t recognize “If you need anything tailoring take it to this address and give them the card, they can do magic with almost any fabric. And if you'll excuse me I'm going to take a shower.â€
  22. k, Going to take the direct way out so my Toughness roll 1d20+11=15, that an Injury.
  23. She was taking one last look around the burning warehouse before she left when she spotted him. The corpse (hopefully) of the man who had started his whole business, the reason she was here. She should just go leave him to burn unknown and unknown… And yet that was exactly what he would have done, what he had done. Curse she hefted the body onto her shoulders and walked to the nearest window, it was the quickest way out and she couldn’t use the trash from earlier in case the man hadn’t exited yet. She simply stepped from the building, landing in a crouch to try and minimize the damage. She felt her ankle twist badly as she landed but nothing major. She could literally walk it off.
  24. See look this is what she does . Sense Motive 1d20+8=25
  25. Rhonda a friend of Revenant/Police detective I've used in other threads. As for my Gather Info I've only got the name, Kollwitz, the location and the Daylight vampire so I'll have to work from those. I'll go for the whole day so that would make the total 28.
