  1. Well affects others at +1 would as you say grant others the use of teleport as well as yourself. s essentially everyone can teleport. The difference being the attack bonus ( where people can choose to fail the save ) means you decide where they teleport too, whereas the affects objects means that others get the teleport power, meaning they can choose ( which may very well be choosing the same destination as you) Anyway, its all good for the stunt,
  2. My mistake on the rank 3! I would still read the affects offers as granting them the use of teleport power rather than being teleported with you - which in essence is actually better.
  3. I think there may be some flaws in that stunt technically as long range is for rank 4 and above only, and a burs affect others would allow those others to teleport, rather than taking them with you. Having said that, you have plenty of PP left in that stunt, and boosting the level and giving progression on cargo would do just as well. So no bones picked, and it will do the trick!
  4. Theres not much more to find on either search. However you can easily access the computer to the biological research room, and with a bit of work, unlock the doors. The readings for the comuter are there is no biohazard active, although plenty of samples and equipment in the room where the robbers are is indeed highly dangerous.
  5. Hero Point for Jake being involved and in threat (and you trying....) Revenant - 2 Hero Points...
  6. GM Revenant tried, of course. But Jake was obsessed.. "Uh huh...no way!" he replied, shooting off. "I've waited two days in the freezing Alaskan Rain, and I finally get to meet her! No way am I screwing this up! I got so much to ask her! I'm not waiting another second, and I ain't passing this up!" "You gotta be crazy to ask me!" Despite, or perhaps, because of his spindly frame, Jake was fast on his feet. In a flash he was at the door, giving the doorknocker just one clang before it opened, as if by magic. A butler opened the door. For lack of a better word, he appeared ancient, barely breathing. Carefully groomed white hair was the only indication he was not a corpse. "Please come in, Madam Stone will meet you shortly" he said in a croaking, faint voice that was recognisable as the one over the intercom.
  7. Probably not that it counts, but Ill throw you a diplomacy roll in case you need it: 1d20+5=9 So... well, at least it wont give him a worse disposition than his current one...
  8. Synth was taken aback by the man. She really had no idea how to run a business, or the law. She had no idea how to counter the man, or how successful he would be in his attempt. All she could do was appeal to his sense of reasonableness. "Please" she said, gently, doing her best to placate the man, looking him straight in the eye. "This is a vital cause. It is the right thing to do for this company. Roseus needs to take the moral high ground here. For its reputation. For its well being. And in any case, I am sure you agree that this we need to give something, provide something for everyone. It is the human thing to do, is it not? would you not sleep with a lighter heart after this?" She paused very briefly. "It would be shameful to stop this..."
  9. 1d20+15=33 Notice 1d20+3=22 Initiative Good rolls, but Ill see how the other do before IC post, I presume highest Initiative should post first.
  10. "Are you sure you are able to go?" said Synth we genuine concern "isn't it better to seek medical aid? after those men attacked you?" She scrutinized the man once more. It was true, all that were visible were a few light knocks, nothing serious. Although it was more than possible that the man had some internal injury or broken bones. She knew a fair amount of anatomy, but short of x-ray vision, there was no real way of knowing. Still, if he said he was ok... "Thankyou. I'll have whatever you think is exciting to drink. I don't go bars much, so give me something tasty and strong!" she said with some enthusiasm. "And thank you for your generousity!" she added, oblivious to the social connotations of drink-buying.
  11. GM The breaking and twisting of metal reverberated throughout the ship, and it was not long before red lights started flashing in control rooms. A couple of armed guards, their submachine guns strapped casually over there shoulders, walked up on deck past Subito, Cruz, and Kristen. "What the devil now?" complained one "Engine failure? the propellor get caught up in a body? Hellfire... gonna be in real trouble if we get stranded mid-sea. Hope El Capitan has some mighty big cojon, he gonna need them to get us out of that..." The other man agreed "ay, but keep your voice down, amigo, or we gonna get hung dry if El Capitan thinks we loosing our nerve..." he replied in more hushed tones. Saying that, they both moved to the rear of the ship trying to sea if anything could be seen above sea level. A thin trail of smoke and oil could be seen, enough to capture their attention but not enough to provide any illumination. "Now is our chance!" hissed Diego, looking above to an empty deck "We can get onboard!"
  12. GM The statued could not match Marceaux's pace, but they were persistent. They kept up a fast, lumbering pace without tiring, knocking aside cars, pedestrians, and chewing bullets from the odd police officer who tried his luck. Two police vans blocked the road, and were ploughed through with barely and hesitation of pace. It was true that Marceaux, at full pace, was outrunning them, but they homed in unerringly, locked on to their target - "the invincible amulet of invincibility" - even when out of sight. And they would not stop - ever. As Marceaux's lungs gave out and he slowed down, he had made a good lead on them, maybe a half mile or more, but he still had a way to go to get to Marcel's house...
  13. (GM) The fouren, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, could hear the thumping. They stopped, read the sign, and looked at each other. One nodded, and they continued unperturbed, hauling some expensive looking machinery. the scientist broke out in a smile when he saw superhero rescue seemed imminent, and nodded his head frantically to the men and their haul.
  14. GM Without a word, the intercom went dead. "See, told you" said Jake, dejectedly "nothing ever gets past that crazy old ma...hola! wey hey!!!" he finished with a smile and a hop from one foot to the other. Without a word, the iron gates to the house swung slowly open, creaking as they did so. "We got in! We got in! I can't believe it! Like, this is freakin' awesome!" yelled Jake, punching the air. And with that, he ran full speed to through he gates and up to the house.
  15. Oh dear! well if you can message me do so. Otherwise use this thread to communicate anything you need to. In any case, Airon notices one of the beggars paying particularly close attention to the two of you.
  16. Synth nodded, full of sympathy. "I understand. I'm sorry for bringing up what must be...difficult...memories" she said, softly. She wondered whether to touch the woman, but she suspected being touched by someone who looked almost exactly like you would be disconcerting, to say the least. "Let's get ready for the board meeting then" she said, still softly but with more brightness to her voice "I'll try and keep up the illusion. Brief me what you can, and lets go". She paused briefly. "On reflection, this whole affair is highly mysterious. Why would anybody want to kill you. Whats the motive for it? could it be tied up with..." She decided not to bring up the woman's dead husband again. But she would be paying close attention to the board...
  17. And could we have a notice roll please!
  18. GM “So, our mission. What clues did you and Dr. Eldritch have put together to guide our investigation?â€
  19. GM "Oh thank God!" said the woman, beckoning their child, who must have been a young girl of about seven or eight to come forward. She clasped her hands together as if all her prayers had been answered. Which, in a sense, they had. "Why did they take us?" she asked Carrie as she scurried up the stairs to the kitchen with Carrie. "We haven't done anything wrong! we aren't terrorists or anything, never been in any trouble? where they trying to blackmail my husband? he is very successful, a rich man! is that it? did he hire you! oh bless him, I knew he wouldn't let them doing anything to us!" She had tears streaming down her cheeks as she clutched her daughter to her chest.
  20. I think that makes it 26 turns - 18 round fro your CON, and then you made 8 fort saves. Thats works out to 3840 feet. Statues have moved half of that, or 1920 feet. So, adding in the 100 foot base advantage, lets say that KoS has a 2000 foot lead on the statues. As they move 120/round accelerated pace, that would be just under 20 rounds to catch up when you reach the final destination (about 2 minutes). Can you confirm this - and is KoS still running at an accelerated (but not all out) pace? (which is the same speed at statues at All Out) or is he stopping to face the statues?
  21. GM Police cars were already at the scene when Jubatus arrived, although they did not register the feline blur that whipped past them. It seemed the robbery was still in progress. A large truck was outside the institute, unmanned, with its doors open ready to receive the goods. Inside, the building that was designated for Biotechnological research had clearly been broken into, its front doors smashed. And inside, the large central biohazard material room had been barred - presumably as a precaution, but through the reinforced glass, Jubatus could see four armed thugs hefting heavy machinery around, and a poor bound scientist tied up and shouting (soundlessly through the glass) for help. As Jubatus ran around, scouting, he found the control centre for the biohazard chamber, a computer lock in place, sealing the doors airtight.
  22. GM Ms. Wheatley smiled, although it was fainter than before. "Power is a subtle thing, my dear. Just when you have it..." she snapped her fingers daintily "...you realise you have none at all. Its like a drug, you need more and more. And its never enough, is it?" "I try to understand the subtleties of Power. The small things. One stone can move a river, my dear. But should one move the river? or drop the stone? What is right, what is wrong?" She chuckled. "But I sound like a French Intellectual. My, they are charming, the French Intellectuals, are they not? My dear, all I can do is entertain myself, and dear sweet M knows that I do it for King and Country, of course..." And with that, Ms. Wheatley graciously allowed herself to be escorted dockside, to the thunderous applause and wolf-whistles of the dock workers. "Safe and sound then" mumbled Simon Trowell "I suppose she will make a small fortune, and garnish plenty of fame from this. Won't do the Inquisition much favour in the popularity stakes..." "Indeed not", interjected M, who had bustled his way to their side through the crowd, accompanied by two burly agents. "I will have to ensure that Innocente's role is kept strictly out of the public eye. We could do with some leverage from him" he commented, before turning to Young Brittania. "And how are you my dear? Good show, in more ways than one, I hear" he said, his lip curling at one end.
  23. "Madam..." interjected Lord Steam "I am sure the authorities will be informed, and I would indeed urge that to be done..." "However" he added more forcefully "you are also aware, I am sure, of the political ramifications of this. Speedy resolution as to the real crime is of the essence. And things, my dear, are not always as they seem..." "So, you say that after Diocles got tossed out, ...who was that with?" He cocked an eyebrow at the woman. Who was the third party? or was she getting her story muddled?
