  1. How much does Walsh weigh? And what's the penalty for acrobatics with cargo?
  2. Carrie got into the car cab and sat with her legs crossed as she looked at M, "He's quite a stubborn one. Tried to talk him down, but it was like talking to a wall. Luckily his moral compass however screwy stopped him from actually attacking me directly. I would of continued to try but it was quite evident near the end that he wouldn't consider a peaceful form of negociation." Leaning over she put a fist on her face and said, "Plus, he pulled a cliche and told me that I couldn't stop him." Letting out a breath she leaned back up and stretched, "M, question of interest, how much of the general public actually know about your agency, because DeRomberts and Pennyworth certainly knew, or at least knew enough to ID me as an active affiliate, and the later was drunk at the time. I was under the impression that this was a secret agency."

Anyway, ROBOT! First I've made. Fairly simple design, the short version is that this is an artificial intelligence from the future that somehow (maybe he worked on a luxury ship or something) got warped to the past. Or he's from the present, whatever the case, he isn't nessicarily designed for combat, no he is a cooking robot. But despite this, some of the features he has would be useful in regular combat, like an unending array of knives, a personal spice rack, the ability to detect changes in temperatures, and oh, he's bullet proof. He's also incredibly dexterious (as cooking is based on dexterity). Because he's a robot, he doesn't need to breath or anything like that so he has full on fort immunity, but also because he's a robot he is not immune to electromagnetic pulses, and would likely lose a fight with a large magnet. Now he could fight because he has a base protocol to protect humans, or because he himself doesn't like it when people fight (a good meal is a much better alternative) he's not the most accurate person, but he is pretty darn tough, and he comes with a flame thrower (for hibachi).
  4. Sil immediately stepped in when the security and tried to get some quick precise hits that would knock out but would not overly harm them. However, as much as she hit, they got right back up and headed straight for Walsh. Slipping around she set her stance in front of him keeping her feet spread as she waited for the attack. "Mr. Walsh, I would say run, but that seems unwise at this time. Stay behind me, don't panic, don't move. They will not get past me."
  5. I'm spending an HP to take Interpose this turn.
  6. Sil does stunning attack against the security that's attacking Walsh. 23, that's DC 22 fortitude to not be stunned.
  7. Right, Etain is looking for people with abilities in healing. The primary note for this is that she has a favor, and if you help her, she will do something back. Anyway, what she is asking for is a really hard task, but she will do just about anything she could do that's morally sound to find someone like this. This could be a series of threads or just one, but she is actively looking for the best possible healer she could find. This is also a way for Etain to be expanding contacts within the superhero community. The short version is this, she will be spending time actively seeking out heroes who might be rumored to have these abilities, if something happens like a fight, she'll assist then she'll ask about this task. Or socially, she'll ask about other heroes they know. This can be a couple of threads, because she is actively seeking out heroes in general. She knows some heroes, but it's mostly the Irregulars, some members of Young Freedom and the heroes from Parkhurst, so this should help her get around the community some more.
  8. 17 for initiative, should we make a willpower roll against emotion control?
  9. Oh certainly, Georgia would be uncomfortable with MOST fights, but feel free to challenge her, she's only PL7.

  11. I need to do something with Georgia, but I don't know what. Something combaty, with at least one other PC.
  12. "No one likes a sore loser, and for the record, this is mixed martial arts and kick boxing," Carrie moved the medal to her mouth and clicked the button to transmit to Joe's medal, "Hey, you can head on in, I've apprehended Dr. DeRombert. He got quite worked up there, but I was right, the fact that I was female stopped him from trying a direct confrontation so I pretty much got the gist of what he was talking about. You want to carry him out?"
  13. Carrie took a step to the side just in the scientist's raving blind spot, then keeping her posture speared him in the chest to throw him off balance and grabbing the underside of his leg with one of her arms which she pushed forward to throw him off balance and make him land ass first on the floor. She than grabbed his wrist and pulled him onto his stomach and promptly sat on him, hooking her left leg under his holding both of his wrists against his back with her hand reaching into her coat and bringing the medal to the side his face was facing on this side of the floor, "My name is Caroline, I am an agent of her majesty the queens governments and therefore I am arresting you for conspiracy, aiding in kidnapping of several influencial figures, unethical experimentation of a neurological agent on human subjects, and mental assault. You may have an attorney and council, you may curse at me if you wish, but if you try to break from this hold, I will knock you into the floor until you stop moving and cite it as an necessary act to prevent resisting arrest. Any questions Dr. DeRombert?"
  14. Sil watched the Representative closely, it was, an important question. She knew several what was dubbed terminus babies, it was definitely a hot issue in Freedom City which had the highest concentration (partially cause that's where a lot of them went to school, she had no idea there was a high school until she found the elementary school). Either way, it would effect the crowd certainly. This was a high school after all, there was a chance that some of the parents in the crowd were in fact the parents of so called terminus babies and if things turned violent she'd have to watch for any overly protective parents as well as would be extremists. It went both ways, those who were afraid of terminus babies and those who were afraid for them.
  15. 20, wow, really, I'm spending an HP. Anyway, 22, +10, so 32 (Cause the bonus is 5).
  16. Character Name: Changeling Power Level: 14 (223/223 PP), effective PL12 Trade-Offs: None Melee, -2 Attack / +2 Damage Range, +5 Defense / -5 Toughness, Swords PL 10, +4 Attack, -4 Damage Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Platinum Status: 73/120 In Brief: Changeling magical heroine. Alternate Identity: Etain Maher Identity: Public Birthplace: Newry Ireland Occupation: Entertainer Affiliations: Claremont Alumnus Family: Morgan Crowe, Victoria Knight, John Smith (The Irregulars) Description: Age: 20 (DoB: October 2nd, 1883) Apparent Age: 20 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5'2†Weight: 110lbs Eyes: Hazel Hair: Black Etain is still very pretty and soft featured, though she had donned a pair of glasses that match the rest of her outdated attire. Her new outfit for fighting, if it was that doesn't even resemble anything close to other superheros anymore. Instead it is simply a gold and black assemble which only real connection to the previous outfits is a clear butterfly mofit. She no longer bothers with a mask. Power Descriptions: Etain can create illusions that is granted to her by the fae. This power comes with a draw back, she can't conciously lie while she has these powers. She also has the ability to see magic, always, in it's purest form, this isn't always pleasant. History: >See here. Recent history: Etain for the last several months hasn't been in freedom city for reasons she hasn't specified. Mostly she's been traveling around various places in the world and she hasn't had much if any contact with the local residents. Custos whom she has always said is free to go as he please actually left Freedom City as well, and is sometimes spotted as an odd blip on the skyline. She has returned recently but now she doesn't much bother for any kind of secret identity when she fights as she feels little need to maintain that sort of thing anymore (doing so originally was just a nod of respect to Claremont and her teammates, but contact with them has been limited). She still has a room at Parkhurst, and still goes around and does performances for children's parties (she has no interest in doing larger venues). There is something she has been searching for recently and relentlessly and it has made her restless. Personality & Motivation: Etain while still whimsical and just a bit quirky has turned a bit serious as she is looking for a solution for something. She loves new experiences and technology, but she feels that there is a great cost to her continued existance here and it's about time she fixed that. Her attitude is the same, but she is driven towards a goal and has relented that until now stubborness or selective obliviousness has made her ignore it for some time. That's changed, and she's been driven. She's still polite, and properly spoken, never using contractions and often dancing around subject matter with large words and tricks but she will talk straight if prompted. Powers & Tactics: Etain's powers are entirely mental in nature. She can reproduce and create in detail anything she has witness or experienced. This especially includes pain, which with very rigorous Etain can recreate the pain from wounds from various weapons that are realistic to the point that it can cause someone to pass out. This of course disappears entirely the moment someone is rendered unconcious because none of it is real. She can try to simply make someone go unconcious, but it's harder because believability is a big part of her powers. She can make wounds appear, but if she includes the illusion of her physically hitting them with a weapon it makes it that much more feasible that the wound is real and makes the illusion that much harder for them to break. The intensity of these particular illusions because of how detailed they are lowers the will to fight because it creates mental fatigue much like real wounds create physical fatigue. It helps that with the weapons she does create she is both knowledgable and compedent with so the movements are realistic and not at all stilted (though often when someone who can't see her illusions sees her fight with them, it's simply her moving closer to the target but just out of hands reach when she damages them). Because it's mental, her powers will not work on non-sentient things or creatures who are immune to mental damage. When she can't use magic, she is still a very great melee fighter, especially with swords. She's not as strong as most heros, but she is fast and darn near impossible to hit with normal methods. She fights often in a dress mostly because she is not acrobatic in the least and her feet always stay firmly on the ground. But if you can get a hit on her, she will go down if you hit moderately hard (for a superhero) but her style is based almost entirely on that. If she deems it more effective she'll forgo normal illusions and simply remove herself from all sight all together to attack with her swords. She doesn't like this method, because actual weapons are capable of real lasting pain and she greatly doesn't like to inflict that sort of thing on any creatures, so it is almost always a last resort. Complications: Always Covered: Iron is uncomfortable for Etain, her clothes are layered, old and very covering, always. Mirror, Mirror: Etain has an adversion to mirrors, she has none in her room, and will not glance No Untrue Word Should Escape Thy Lips: Etain doesn't lie, not that she can't lie, she DOESNâ€T lie because it directly effects her powers. Blinded By The Light: If Etain is caught without her glasses, she can be overwhelmed by sights or people with more strange or high concentrations of magic. 17. Take 10 on stealth to do a sneak attack, DC 30, roll to initiate a grapple, 15, 17 if the sneak attack is working, and her should be flat-footed. Gosh I wanted to try and talk this out, but he just said she couldn't stop him.
  18. It'd also stop people from seeing magic on her.
  19. It does have subtle, I just have to remove it from the Strike, and -1 for Touch Range SC. Also, the glasses are no saving throw cause they're designed for self use, they block Etain's super senses. It's a rank 2 nullify, which covers all powers of a certain descriptor, mental powers in this case.

    Stat Yourself

Lo, thought this be a fun thing to do just in general. Basic thing, just crunch yourself out in character. It can be accurate, it can be silly, I'd say we're average PL 2, so about 30PP to spend. 21. "It is not common sense, it is a skewed misconception with no scientific merit. Until such a time actual science is done to prove such a claim it is no more viable academically than levitation. You're a scientist, your theory is based on a science that has had no real testing materials other then the liberal application of a hammer. Have you tested if a large enough number of women given the same education has a man as to whether they are actually deficient? Have you come up with an actual hypothesis more then just this is how it is because that's what society says. That isn't science, it isn't even any type of sense at all. How much can you possibly know about a women's mental capacity if you've never seriously looked into it? You may be a chemist, but you aren't a scientist good sir, science isn't taking the word of the world at face value simply because it suites you, it's asking why something works, why is does the apple fall from the tree, why does a larger surface area make something more boyent," She moved over to the vat of putty, she didn't touch it, "Why does this substance create such severe concequences? If you call this perfect, if you call this finished then you are wrong. This is brilliant, but if you made it safely removable without any side effects it would revolutionize, well everything that has to do with appearance. The perfect tonic for old age, for those who wish to look young not because they are ashamed because of society, and theatre, this would be brilliant on stage, to create that perfect image so that actors would rely more on their skills then their appearance. You want to control people with this? Why is that necessary, why is it even a part of the formula? If you make the world give you what you want what good is it? You've already earned everything just with the cosmetic advantages of this subject, if you make them given you praise then it's as hollow as the untested unquantified nonsense you spout of male superiority."
