  1. "Sorry!" Eve shouted, delighting in hearing her own voice again. Bursting from the bathroom with a wide smile on her face, Eve hugged her slightly taller cousin fiercly, lifting her up and twirling a bit, before dashing back to her room finish getting ready.
  2. Though Eve barely knew Mark, her heart was heavy with his loss, not only for his own sake but for the impact his loss had on Faith. Having stood quietly beside her cousin since their arrival in the hospital, the diminutive telepath was bothered by the little support she could provide. She had been so focused on her cousin that she partially tuned out Rick's ranting. The abrupt disappearance of the Captain Thunder and Bolt, their mental presnce completely vanishing, shocked her to awareness. Everything was happening so fast, and it was all wrong. --Please,-- she shouted, her mental voice plaintive. --This is a hospital! Hasn't there been enough tragedy today?--
  3. The violence of the explosion paralyzed Eve with shock, time seeemed to slow to a crawl with her senses screaming to her about the danger, Eve reached out with her mind to Mark to issue a warning but even as she did so she knew it was futile. Eve could only look on with horror as reality stuttered along like a slideshow as the piece of shrapnel punched into Mark, punctuated by a spray of crimson. For what seemed like an eternity Eve watched helpless, before the plantive cries of the youths mother and his friends brought Eve's altered perception crashing back.
  4. Reeling from the blow to her face, Sage shakes her head, regaining focus and clarity. Touching her cheek, where the klan-a-rang hit her, Sage's green eyes narrow as they catch sight of blood. "It was foolish of me to think we could resolve this without coming to blows," she thought as she glared at Klansman, a wave of fury with just a hint of regret radiating out from her. Reigning her anger in, Sage noted Klansman had his attention focused on the longcoat wearing man, and so used this opportunity to slip into his blindspot. --Keep him occupied-- she thought at the guitar wielding youth.
  5. Going to spend a HP to shake off the stun, then Hide In Plain Sight, taking 10 on my Stealth check for a 25.
  6. Toughness save vs DC 21 (1d20+10=13) Haha, welp.
  7. --Oh, hello.-- Eve thought "out loud," smiling at Trevor. "My, he moves well [Approval]. Potential training partner, perhaps?". Touching Aiko lightly on the forearm, Eve makes a small "one moment" gesture. --I'm Eve Martel-- she directed at the dark haired youth. --And you are?--
  8. Attempting to use Emotion Control 10 (Fear) on Klansman. DC 20.
  9. Sage hit the airship cabin roof lightly and darted off to the edge. Vaulting over the edge of the ariship Sage twists through the air, grabs hold of the top of the doorframe and whips her body through the opening. Hitting the ground at a tumble Sage springs quickly to her feet, her eyes picking out a white robe man lurking in the shadows, who seems to have noted her own arrival. --Hope you don't mind my dropping in,-- she thought at Klansman, while touching that primal place in his mind, summoning forth fear.
  10. Notice to spot the badguys (1d20+15=27) and Sage will take 10 on Acrobatics (for a total of 25).
  11. Sage will hold her action until Fulcrum sets her down.
  12. A puzzled expression on her face, Eve followed Aiko by her side. "Not quite the reaction I was expecting," Eve thought to herself, casting a surreptitious glance at the blue haired girl. --It's quite alright, Aiko,-- Sage thought to the gynoid. --In truth I'm a little surprised by your reaction, and it's why I was signing in the first place. I've heard that most people are uncomfortable around telepaths. I didn't wish to invade the privacy of your mind.-- She shrugged. --But since you do not sign and I..-- Eve paused [Frustration/Mmelancholy], then shook her head. --... well, it doesn't matter.--
  13. Sage stealth check for approach/landing. (1d20+15=18) (Taking 10 would have had the same (effective) result.)
  14. Sage quirked an eyebrow at Fulcrum at the mention of a stealth insertion [Amusement/Eagerness] a small smile gracing her features. Glancing off in the direction of the airship she nodded. --A stealthy approach would be suitable for me.-- Sage glanced at the woman towering over her, and her faint smile grew wider --You on the other hand, stand out.-- --How about we play to our strengths?--
  15. Fulcrum is going to beat the crap out of them. Hah!
  16. Sage rolled easily to her feet, eyes narrowed [irritation/Anger], shaking her head at Fulcrum. --No, I am going with you-- she thought to the Amazon, --At the very least I can make sure the hostages he took are OK while you beat the tar out of that bastard.-- Shrugging a shoulder, she added, --Besides, he brought "friends".--
  17. Eve shrugged and picked up her bag, slinging it over her shoulder. Smiling at Aiko, Eve inclined her head in the direction of the main entrance and quirked an eyebrow. --Shall we?-- she asked, directing the thought at Aiko. --Oh! I'm Eve, Eve Martel. It is a pleasure meeting you Karakuri Aiko.--
  18. Eve set her bag down a moment as she regarded the sapphire-haired [surprise/Interest] woman. "I was told there would be some surprises," she thought, admonishing herself [irritation]. "Get it under control." Eve nodded at Aiko, holding up her right hand with the index finger extended. Eyebrows furrowed, Eve twitched her index finger side to side then brings both hands forward, fingers curled in an "O" shape, right in front of the left and spreads them shoulder-width apart.* * Eve is asking "Where is the office?"

  20. Date: 10 May 2010 Eve stared out the darkly tinted windows at the main entrance to Claremont Academy, lost in thought, stomach knotted with emotion [Anxiety/Curiosity]. A week ago she was still home in Orléans, France packing for her transatlantic flight. Less than a week ago her brother Nicholas introduced her to a man named Duncan Summers. And now she was here. “Eve?†Eve frowned a moment, the sound of her name jarring her thoughts back to the present. “Eve?†She turned away from the window and glanced at the man sitting across from her. Blond hair, green eyes and an easy smile, Nicholas Martel was the brother she barely knew and yet she could see faint hint of concern etched on his face. --Yes Nick?— “You’re worrying again. Just relax, everything will be fine. Besides, Faith is here so you shouldn’t have any problems meeting people.†Nicholas’s words had the effect he was looking for as he felt the anxiety fade from Eve until only the sense of curiosity remained, which soon vanished as well as she brought her emotion under control. Nick smiled, and tapped a knuckle against the window glass, “Off you go, then. I’ll send someone by later with the rest of your clothing.†Eve sighed and stepped out of the car as her door was opened by the driver. Turning back to glance at her brother, she smiled. --Thank you for coming, Nick.— “Of course. Oh, tell Faith that dinner Sunday will be at my place, will you?†Eve nodded at Nicholas while accepting her bag that the driver retrieved from the trunk of the car. She smiled at the driver and inclined her head before settling the bag over her shoulder and striding off toward the Academy. She didn’t look back.
