olopi
http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/8972-ic-un-organ-ised-crime/ And we start off right into combat! The scene is a street, small stores on both sides. All of you are already on scene and have been for a bit, and have already defeated some of the smaller Velociraptor swarms. Since I'm throwing you straight into combat, everybody starts with an extra HP! So: Roll for Initiative! Link to comment

Ari
Initiative is a result of 17. Dreadfully sorry for the delay, olopi! I will be more prompt in future. Link to comment
olopi
Okay Intiative order then is: Raptors Ankylos 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm (4 Minions + 1 Bigger one) - Unharmed 21 Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 17 - The Speaker . Unharmed - 2HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed And more raptor swarsm at 12, 10, 8. If I've made any mistakes with the HP counting, call me out on it! Also, feel free to narrate some stuff that happened before your character got to the street, how your characters have already been fighting, and so on. Blue Jay is up! Link to comment
Raveled
Blue Jay is going to use Crowd Tactics on as many raptors as she can hit. With that attack she has five cubes, each 25-ft on a side. If that means I can hit more than one group, I'll do it. Results1d20+15: 23 [1d20=8] Ew. Well that's a DC 20 Toughness save against anything that actually hits. Link to comment
olopi
okay, since i missed it earlier: Bonfire's going to act at Initiative 0, to make things simpler. Now, for the raptors: I'll say she managed to hit two groups, one at 21 Ini and one at 8. And no, they're pretty bad at dodging, so they all get hit. Since I'm not sure which descriptor you're using here, I assume penetrating, due to arrows. They're skeletons which gives them half-immunity towards, amongst othr things, piercing, meaning it's a DC 17 Various rolls In an incredible feat of luck, all but one minions resist! Well, there go all my good rolls. And now for the two big 'uns: more rolls The first one's Staggered and stunned, the second one stunned and bruised. 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 21 Raptor Swarm - One Minion down, Leader staggered, stunned 17 - The Speaker . Unharmed - 2HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 12 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 10 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 8 - Raptor Swarm - Leader stunned, bruised 1 0 - Bonfire - Unharmed - 2HP Silver Spider's up! Azuth65
Apologies for the delay. Silver's going perform a move-by kick on Ankylosaur 1 via web-swing. 1d20+9=29 Wow, DC 27 toughness save. Edited April 25, 2016 by Azuth65 Link to comment
olopi
Well, that's a crit. And Skeletons are very weak to blunt damage. Yeah, no way it's getting through that. I'm not even going to roll, that thing shatters into a thousand pieces. Feel free to narrate it however you want! Edited April 25, 2016 by olopi Link to comment
olopi
The raptors organize and no longer are just randomly attacking the enviroment, but don't really accomplish anything else. sorry it took so long for a post that essentially reads "nothing happens" 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, all gathered around it's leader 21 Raptor Swarm - One Minion down, Leader staggered, stunned 17 - The Speaker - Unharmed - 2HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 12 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 10 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed 8 - Raptor Swarm - Leader stunned, bruised 1 0 - Bonfire - Unharmed - 2HP The Speaker is up! Ari
So much for that resolution. So first, for a free action, Dol-Druth is going to ask whoever is responsible for this to come out and explain themselves. Move Object Grapple attempt on one of the ankylosaurs:11. Critical failure. HP re-roll: 24. DC25 TOU save if that hits, and likewise opposed Grapple DC25. Link to comment
olopi
1d20 + 10 = 26 It just makes the toughness save, and for the grapple: 1d20+11 = 28 Wow. Just wow. I don't know what is up with orokos, i really don't. Too many good rolls. Sorry Feel free to make the post! Link to comment
olopi
One of the Ankylosaurs (Ini 16) continues attacking a building, damaging it further The one that the Speaker attemtped to grapple will charge at him, with a melee attack of 1d20 + 6 = 8 which means it misses him completely, is now standing right next to him, and also is down 2 defense for the turn The two raptor swarms both start to organize like the first one, gathering around their leader. The one with the stunned leader will attack randomly, destroying some furniture and running after silver spider but not reaching her Bonfire will try to take out the first one to organize, at 22 initiative, using his AoE, so that's a DC18 reflex for the raptors: Various rolls One minion makes it's reflex 1d20 + 6 = 8 The leader fails too Which means 4 Toughness DC23 saves, the first one being the leader: Various rolls The leader's bruised, the minions are down. Now for the one that made it's reflex, a DC19: 1d20 + 4 = 7 It's down too. 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm - Only leader remains, is bruised 21 Raptor Swarm - One Minion down, Leader staggered, stunned 17 - The Speaker - Unharmed - 1HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 12 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, all gathered around it's leader 10 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, all gathered around it's leader 8 - Raptor Swarm - Leader stunned, bruised 1 0 - Bonfire - Unharmed - 2HP Blue Jay is up! Raveled
Okay, Blue Jay's going to switch to her grapnel and get down to ground level, then hit one of the anklyosaurs with a snare. Results 1d20+15: 18 [1d20=3] Orokos does not like me lately. Link to comment
olopi
Well, it still hits. 1d20 = 15 And there's it's Reflex save, so I believe it actually makes it? Correct me if I'm wrong, and feel free to post Link to comment
olopi
Okay, I've not seen Azuth around in a few days and for the sake of not having this thread die to pacing, I'll skip Silver Spider for now! We can give her an additional turn later on should it matter! The Raptor at 22 will run towards the Speaker, which will take all it's actions. The minions at 21 will move towards Blue Jay and attack, using Teamwork: Various Rolls Both make the DC10, so the one raptor that actually attacks directly will get a +4 on it's attack: 1d20+7 = 13 It misses, so nothing really happens. 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm - Only leader remains, is bruised, closing in on the Speaker 21 Raptor Swarm - One Minion down, Leader staggered, stunned 17 - The Speaker - Unharmed - 1HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 12 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, all gathered around it's leader 10 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, all gathered around it's leader 8 - Raptor Swarm - Leader stunned, bruised 1 0 - Bonfire - Unharmed - 2HP The Speaker is up! Link to comment
Ari
The Speaker will switch to the Blast on his Array, using random objects around him to launch via telekinesis as a hail of projectiles. All-Out Attacking (+2 ATK, -2DEF) and Power Attacking (+2DMG, -2ATK)at the Ankylosaur who tried to charge him. 21 is the result, with a DC27 Toughness save for the skeletal the-saurus if that counts for a hit. Also, this is a panic move, Dol-Druth isn't supposed to damage any Earth property or persons during his inspection. It's actually against the law. Link to comment
olopi
It hits just fine! And for the damage: 1d20 + 10 = 17 It fails by exactly 10, so it's Staggered and Stunned! Feel free to make the post! We can have him get reprimanded for damaging earth protery afterwards! Link to comment
olopi
The yet unharmed Ankylosaurus continues smashing a building, by now it's fairly beat up, close to collapsing! The other Ankylosaur cannot act this turn. The 12 Raptorswarm will group up on the speaker: Rolls 3 make the Aid Roll, so that's +6 for the Leader: 1d20 + 9 = 21 I believe that hits, so that's a DC19 Toughness Save Then 10 chases after Silver Spider, not reaching her. The 8 go after Blue Jay, same deal as before: Rolls 4 make it, it's a +8 ! 1d20 + 12 = 13 Yeah, that misses. Bonfire will attack the ones chasing Silver Spider due to lack of selective attacks, which means DC18 Reflex Saves for all of them! Rolls Which none make, so it's DC23s for them! Various more rolls All but the leader and one minion go down! Leader is staggered and stunned, too. 23 Blue Jay - Unharmed - 3HP 22 Silver Spider - Unharmed - 5HP 22 Raptor Swarm - Only leader remains, is bruised, closing in on the Speaker 21 Raptor Swarm - One Minion down, Leader staggered, 17 - The Speaker - Unharmed - 1HP 16 - Ankylosaur - Unharmed 15 - Ankylosaur - Staggered, Stunned 12 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, Around the Speaker 10 - Raptor Swarm - Unharmed, Leader Staggered, Stunned, only 1 minion remaining. 8 - Raptor Swarm - Leader bruised 1, attacking Blue Jay 0 - Bonfire - Unharmed - 2HP Okay, so that's the toughness save, then I'll make the posts real quick, adn then we can get to the next round! Ari
DC19 Toughness save: 25 result. Unharmed. Link to comment
olopi
And we get to the next turn! Blue Jay is up! Link to comment
Raveled
These things are hollow, right? Just skeletons? Could an acrobatically-inclined individual run through one? And can Jay reach the allosaurus still wailing on the building with her move action? Link to comment
olopi
I imagine one could, yes! Probably an acrobatics check. 25 is for something occupying a space, so I'd say ... DC20 since it's probably easy enough if you know how to. Yes, she can reach it! It's currently within movement distance of all of all the cahracters! Link to comment
Raveled
Oh-kay. This is kinda complicated, so let's break it down. Move Action: Moving to the big guy, climbing in and about him. Jay has Acrobatics +15 and Skill Mastery, so no roll needed. Standard Action: Making an Acrobatic Bluff against the big guy. Again, Acrobatic +15 and Skill Mastery makes that a DC 25 check. Free Action: Switching array to Energy Blades, but I'm going to use the Variable to have those be energy clubs instead. Free Action: Spend a HP to Surge. Standard Action: Bop the big dino on the head with a full Power Attack. Results 1d20+6: 17 [1d20=11] ... With the Bluff that should still hit it. DC 29 Toughness + Autofire. Link to comment
olopi
I'll just go ahead and say it goes down, that's quite the Roll to beat! Speed up everything a bit too. Feel free to describe some fancy acrobatics and smashing! Afterwards it'll be Silver Spider's turn again, we can see wheter or not Azuth will show up during the next few days, otherwise I'll just have her attack something, in order to keep up the pace!
