Her figure is not dainty, but lean and athletic. She has curves in all of the right places. Her eyes are a striking dark violet. Her wavy black hair heaches her shoulders, but it is almost always pulled back. She carries herself very forward and boistrous. She speaks witha such a voice too. Nothing about her is muted! Her clothing is always loose and breathable. Most of the time she wears tank tops and either cargo pants or shorts. She has an extensive sneaker collection. Due to the incident, she doesn't wear a costume anymore. The Aeroboard is a long piece of metal shaped into an aerodynamic surfboard look. The sides and bottom are decorated in runes written in Enochian of the names of various angels. The top side of it is graced with an etching of an angel. The bracers are unadorned pliable black leather. They cover her hands all the way up to just under her elbows. [b][u]History[/u][/b]: Dawson and Rosario Marks were simple importers/exporters. Their business was doing fine, almost a little too well. The Marks' were approached by serveral mob families of different nationalities at different times with offers. Offers that would make them very wealthy, but legally dubious. Weapons, drugs, and other sorts of illegal things. Some of the offers were intimidating, others were were more helpful. Either way, the Marks' gave into the demands for fear of their only child not growing up well. In return they are protected by several highly influential mob families. This lead to a boom in their business. So much so that they made a fortune. They were in way to deep to stop, and it wasn't like they were hurting anyone. The Marks' baby girl is oblivious to their ways. Mostly because she never saw them as she was growing up and they're too busy entertaining their overlords. Angel was mostly raised by her uncle Carl. He was a crazy old man who was always inventing weird things. Little did Angel know those crazy things would help her one day. Angel was always an active child. She loved climbing and swimming and dancing and acrobatics. The latter two skills lead her to take martial arts. Being so fluid and tying into her love of acrobatics and dancing, she latched on to Capoeira. She eventually gained the rank of aluno formado, which meant that she was good enough to take the next step and become a teacher, however she had little patience for such matters. The style didn't keep her sated for long. Eventually she was base jumping, riding rapids, racing, and everywhere in between. Though she could never do what she really wanted to do: fight crime like a superhero. She grew up idolizing them. The likes of Johnny Rocket and Hot Rod were her favorite. But she didn't have superspeed, she was just a normal girl. Heiress to an illicit fortune. Her kick into herohood finally happened when she was walking home one night. She was mugged. She fought off the mugger by herself. This was good for a rush! She doesn't know what happened to the mugger as she raced home to tell her uncle. Even though he thought she was crazy, he supported her before when he thought she was crazy and still supports her. He gave her a few things to help her along in her crimefighting career. Angel thought things were going well, but apparently they were not. She was high on the chase. It was more a sport to her than anything, not justice. It all spiraled out of control on the night of the incident. Moira had "left her" and she got into heavy excess. The situation heightened when she refused help and went on a rampage! When she recalls the incident now, she has no idea why she did it. It was just a snapping point. After some rehab and some deep soul searching, she found a selfless reason to get back up on the superhero path again. [b][u]Personality & Motivation[/u][/b]: Angel is very boistrous. She always is in high spirits. Her motivation used to be thrillseeking. While she does still like to have fun, the incident made her rethink her reasons a bit. Was she doing it for the right reasons? Did she really wanted to help people or herself? Her heart was in the right place and she only wanted to do what was right. [b][u]Powers & Tactics[/u][/b]: She has no powers to speak of. She has a hoverboard and a pair of magical bracers that enhance how hard she hits (and make her invisible), but she uses her capoeira skills to enter the fray with gusto. She is a front line fighter.   3. Yeah, Angel thought as she dodged out of the way, This invisibility thing is real useful. At least Arms Akimbo seems to be doing well. With a quick handstand Angel aimed a forceful kick to the head of Super Sara, but it was a ruse! After she 'missed', Angel went around to the back of the super-cheerleader's knees.
  4. These people are crazy, Angel thought, I am not going to sit here while that... that... ARGH... what am I going to do? I'll need to convince them that this is of dire emergency. Angel took a few deep breaths and then spoke calmly with her eyes closed, "" She paused for a second, "" I'm going to have to show them the truth, she thought in a 'rational' tone, I'm. Going. To. Show. Them. The. TRUTH. "You can put me down anytime now," she smiled at her captor.
  5. Quickly dodging, Angel wondered how the ones with the arcane blasts or any of them saw her. She didn't pay it much attention as she bared her thighs down harder on the robed figure's neck. Squeezing every bit of the thing's air out she could. "You know, if they keep shooting over here, they're eventually going to hit you. Is that what you want? To be hoist by your own petard? Call them off now!"
  6. Just in case it need be set in stone (as I've said this is chat a few times in chat), I'm getting help with the story. I'd really like for the other things to be looked at too, but if you want to refuse to do so, I'm patient enough to deal with that :D
  7. Angel was breathing hard and fast. If she wasn't seething angrily she'd be in tears. Struggling against Dark Star's grip, she growled and spoke quietly but angrily, "You didn't see him. He's still got that look of a killer. He's still the same, wether or not he's another person. Omega is Omega is Omega. He's not here to pet puppies and kiss babies." Realizing she wasn't going anywhere soon, she let out a loud shout of frustration
  8. What I plan to do next is stunt Chokehold. As long as I maintain the pin, she'll be doing it. Do I have to make any rolls?

  10. Angel's thoughts was clear and concise. Sixteen years ago those two men were fighting tooth and nail. As a resident of Freedom City in 1993, she was three years old. When the Centurion fell it was heartaching. The grayscale picture of him in a smoldering crater did not help allay her fears. To top it off, seven years ago, Omega sent a clone of the Centurion to destroy the world. This would not happen again. Anger welled up in Angel's very soul. With a gutteral growl she flew as fast as her board could carry her at the evil that plagued the very cosmos. "OMEGA!" She howled as she dropped off the board with a kick that would crack a normal man's skull.
  11. "Well," Angel said pulling out a black leather wallet with a silver chain connected to her pocket, "I can float twenty." As she pulled the Jackson from the wallet, it happened. River Rat, Jackie, whoever he was dropped his wad on the table. It felt like she was being upstaged. He didn't know what he had done. It was taking every bit of constraint her patience had to not drop her own wad on the table. She sat there, staring at it like it was some marvel. Angel gritted her teeth into a smile at River Rat, "We shall see." Handing the greenback to the dealer while keeping her eye on River Rat, she reluctantly let go of it. The poor bill would have screamed if she held it any tighter.

  14. Oh great, Angel thought as she hopped off the Aeroboard and went invisible to sight and sound, super-cheerleaders. She saw the frycook had followed her, and that he had eight arms. It probably wouldn't be the weirdest thing she's ever seen, but up until that point, that was it. Focusing her attention on the one who wasn't tied up, Angel aimed her elemental energy at the girl standing there, dumbfounded as she was, staring at at the eight armed man. A hint of brimstone later and a small ball of fire from seemingly nowhere came barreling towards the would be thief.

  17. Angel reached for a pen in her pocket. That's when she heard it. She couldn't stick around here gorging her face with greaseburgers. She had to do something. She had to get out of here and fast. An idea popped into her head. "You know what," she said still with the polite tone, though it had gotten a bit impatient, "Bag it up. I got gotta be somewhere like five minutes ago." The frycook looked under the counter, there were no bags. He would have to get some from the back, "Alright, Let me get some bags and I'll be right back." While the frycook was in the back she bolted out of the front door, seeing her oppotunity to get to whatever was happening and stop it. Rushing to her car she popped the trunk with a button on her keyring and her Aeroboardpopped outwith another button her clothes turned vibrant orangeto night blackher mask and bracers appeared on her as well. Getting on the board the trunk closed and she zoomed toward the situation.

  23. Angel moved with grace and speed. Perhaps a little too graceful and speedy. Trying to trip the blonde girl upshe totally missed her. With a cartwheel and a backflip she moved ten feet infront of the blonde girl again, waiting for her to move again. This tim she wouldn't miss.
