  1. Ok, that sounds fine with me. Do I need to change the way it's written in any way?
  2. The Norseman smiles under his helmet as one of his foes drops to the ground. The middle of combat is no time for taking pride in your abilities, and he knows this all to well, moving slightly to the side as what could have been a terrible hit moves past him. Bringing his vision to his new foe againhe swings. Realizing at the last second his attack might fail he redoubles his efforts, focusing on his goal at hand.
  3. SNPL10M applying for position. Is intelligent, sensitive, and a strong believer in what is right; Neither ruthless or a killer; is a Viking, not a vigilante.
  4. I'd be interested in playing possibly. I'd play (if you couldn't guess) Thor, as he's my favorite marvel character aside from Wolverine or a few of the baddies.
  5. Ullgir patrols the streets of the city, seeking to bring justice to those who might do wrong. He is unaware of the play taking part just blocks away, his attention on other things. As he walks the street he takes note of the large number of people entering the building. Using the fire escape he takes to the roof of a building, standing with his arms crossed as he watches over the ground below, keeping vigilant for any sign of trouble or danger.
  6. Ullgir watches the woman as she passes by, her disapproving stare seeming to cause him discomfort. It has been so long since he has been near the public, yet even with this fact he is unprepared for looks of disapproval. He was a hero, one who stood for the people and protected them, yet this woman looked as if he was some sort of monster. Ullgir doesn't know much of the history of the past few hundred years which confuses him on the feelings of the people which now live in this age. "Doth my appearance bring disdain or unwanted feelings to this woman? Hath I brought pain to her in some way to warrant such a look?" As if an unspoken answer was made he feels the hair on his shoulder. Though the feeling is strange it does bring a smile to his face, the touch helping to calm him and to an extent bring his mind to ease. As they draw closer to the park he is relieved that the conversation has moved to lighter subjects. As the subject of her heritage comes up he chuckles a bit. "Though I smile at the thought of the folk living on in one such as you, I believe those of your lineage come from a different region than myself, as I believe my family line ended with me." He smiles at that, not thinking of it as a bad thought but a proud memory of earning ultimate glory in battle. Ullgir takes note of the two locations, looking for a moment at the museum before turning his attention to the park. Walking toward the park Ullgir takes not of a particularly beautiful tree in the middle of a grassy area. Pointing to it with his hand he looks down at Estelle and smiles. "If it suits you, I believe that location would be wonderful."
  7. I'm prepping to post, as I haven't had the ability or time until now to even visit the board for more than a moment. I'm very sorry for the delay.
  8. I haven't been around due to my job situation and finding a place to live. Has there been any update on this issue?
  9. I'm really sorry for holding this up any. Between working out my job situation and finding a place to live I've been really busy. If I can still participate I can post now. Let me know if that's ok. Again, I'm really sorry.
  10. I'm very very sorry I haven't been on in a while. I feel really bad but between trying to figure out my job situation and searching for a place to live I've been so worn out I haven't had the ability to get on. I'll post and hopefully you're still interested in playing.

    I would still be interested
  12. I could be wrong, I don't have my book in front of me to check myself, but I was pretty sure the Area Extra for Teleport says you can take any unattended item with you within an area. I don't want to take people, or the items they have.
  13. I do want to put selective on it, actually, I had forgotten that, but otherwise it is exactly as I intended. I'll tweak it, and only it, to add selective. Eventually he'll take other people through it, but right now it is mainly built for him to teleport and if needed make quick heists (it's real easy to rob a bank when all you have to do is stand in the vault and all the money goes with you).
  14. Ullgir looks on as another of the Red Thugs charges him, barely missing his armor. Looking at the new combatant for a brief second his attention turns again to his original target, bringing his sword across his target again. "It'll take more than two demons to bring death to me."
  15. Ok, I need to ask a question before I post. This may entirely be a mistake on my part and if so I am sorry. My defense total is 15/12 Flat Footed. I'm at 12 at the moment, not +12 (IE 22), so my defense total is +2 (12) right now. This might be a mistake but I'm slightly confused by the attacks on my character. If they used Accurate attack to hit me, which somewhat looks like it, then they definitely hit, but they don't need to. I'm confused so I'll refrain from posting yet to sort it out. Sorry for the possible confusion. :?
  16. Things like this is exactly why the Norseman is here. If there's a space open count me in.
  17. A) Yes, that's right it is 28. I lowered the ranks in the array from 15 to 13 and forgot to lower the rest of the powers in the array. I had to edit to update them and I forgot to lower the ranks in the power there, I'll fix that. Another one of those problems where I read part of the description to a power I don't use often and didn't finish all the way. You would be correct in that it is only power rank, so I will fix that.
  18. Players Name: Vaalus Power Level: 6 Characters Name: The Physicist Alternate Identity: Albert McKellin (Actual Name Unknown) Height: 5’6†Weight: 120 lbs Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Description: Albert was an average 16 year old kid. He was average in height, weight, and appearance. His grades were average with the exception of science. He was quiet in school, not much ever came of his obsession with science, until he completed the perfect equation. History: Albert was a young student of physics at his high school. He was a year ahead of his class and didn’t talk to anybody. He had no friends and participated in no after school activities. This changed one fateful day at home while working on an experiment in his basement. --Albert had constructed an experimental device he hoped would help bring an understanding to physics to the world. Physics was his passion, and the only thing he understood without question. His hope would be that through understanding physics, that maybe they would understand him. That would not be the case. As he flipped the lever to activate his machine he accidentally knocked over his pen jar. A falling pen connected two pieces of metal that were not meant to connect, sending a pulse of energy flooding into the basement. --By the time the blackout finally came and shut down his machine, Albert lay lifeless. His efforts would not go without thanks. As his body fell to the floor a being of pure energy, invisible to the universe, took notice. He was a member of a species who had long ago ascended past their mortal bodies though the pursuit of science. He was young in comparison to the rest of his people, and through his views, was cast out from them. To his luck at that moment a body became dormant, and not wishing this moment to pass him by, took possession of it. --Using his powers over physics and this new body, he entered the Claremont academy as a new student using Albert McKellin’s name as an alias. He would train with these humans, learn to think like them and even pretend to be one of their “heroesâ€Â. 19. Ok, I'll post it up with there being a regular forcefield and the impervious and reflective part is an alternate power in the array. If it doesn't get approved as that from one of the other Refs I won't have a problem using it as a regular forcefield and increasing it in power as time progresses.
  20. True it would cost more, but that wouldn't be the important thing. I guess it would come to me in his history if I wanted him to have an independent forcefield or not. I do want him to have one eventually but I don't really know how to do that. Is it possible to buy something that you have as an alternate power up to an actual power, essentially changing the alternate power to something else and paying for it in whole? Is it possible to have Forcefield as a power in and of itself, and having impervious and reflective as a power in the array? Basically representing that he has defenses but they're only at their max when he isn't doing anything else? Even if it's not I can easily make a forcefield by itself and buy up the impervious and reflective later.
  21. Defensive powers usually are, and it will probably be on most of the time when he's actually out doing things, but for the concept it makes more sense to me to have it be part of the array. The concept behind the powers he has is that he has an understanding of the fundamental laws of physics and his ability to control them. So his forcefield, for now, is tied to this ability. As far as the ESP goes, not that it will ever matter probably, he'll be able to look into the dimension of Law, as his powers originate because of his understanding of the laws of physics.
  22. Ok, as I built the character I thought about what I wanted him to be and the origins of his powers. After a much thought out discussion with myself I found that he was going to be a villain who's powers originated when his research brought forth a complete understanding of how some things in physics work. From this, springing off of Johnny Quick from DC Comics, he uses his "formula" to allow him control over certain aspects in physics. So here's what I have thus far. There's not a whole lot, as it's just a first draft. If it looks like it'll make it through the mechanical rulings I'll expand on his history and information. 23. Ok, so I'm working up a pl 6 villain. I'm currently trying to work up a "best possible" and not looking at points until I'm done. What I have I know I'm going to have to severely trim down but I don't have a problem with that. What I have a question on is about how to do something with one of his powers. I made a character once with elasticity and used telegraphic punch with him. The character I'm making now doesn't use elasticity, but teleport, and I'm wondering how to work up something like telegraphic punch, where he makes a little "portal" and punches somebody farther away. I'm not really sure how to do that.
  24. Ullgir waits outside patiently, his eyes fixed on Estelle as she walks in. She is the only person she knows in this area of town. While this would not have worried him in his own time, it brings a very odd feeling in this city of glass. He looks around the inside of the steakhouse, observing the people inside as if they were a thousand miles away. Indeed, they may well have been, for these people were nothing what he remembered of the folk, the human race, when he was younger. He turns his head, his helmet allowing him to see further. With each glance he observes more people, realizing the number in this city is staggering. Never before have I seen so many gathered together. There are more here then all of Germania in its' days of glory. His eyes dart back to the building infront of him, bringing a sudden realization to the front of his brain. For all the gifts the Gods have given him to protect humanity, of all the powers he has gained, never before has he felt so small in such a large place.
