  4. I've asked about this and have decided to do as little work on the NPCs as possible. Of course, the NPCs I'm thinking of are normals, mostly PL 2 or 3. Lenny, my information guy, I didn'T bother with stating up yet. I simply said what people could learn about him and what he can do for them based on various DCs. For your tailor, that should be more than enough. For Madeline, I'm not sure. If she is supposed to run around being active with other heroes and villians, then she'll need to be stated. Submit her as a normal character in teh Character Bank but put NPC in the title and get it approved by the refs. Make sure you put in what information a person can learn about her based on DC checks as well.

  16. Now with money in his bag, Sammy looked upon the streets of the Boardwalk in a new light. 'Ah, I've got money now and met a very interesting person. Next step is to find a place to stay. This area does seem to have its appeal.' Again, Sammy asked some of the more shady people of the street and learned the name of a very interesting person. 'So, Lenny is the guy to talk to in this part of town. I drop my name with him and I'm bound to find work fairly quickly. I'll have to keep my eyes open for him.' Sammy walked east along the boardwalk looking for housing he could rent. A small house would work better than an apartment, but Sammy really didn't care which it was. He didn't plan on living there for very long to begin with. 'Once I get the lay of the land, I'll find something more worthy of a man of many talents.' As he walked, Sammy fingered Dorian's card in his pocket. His footsteps takes him pass the Southside Palace and away from all of the glitter of the Boardwalk. Even the Boardwalk held a residential area and this was no exception. Most of the housing in the area were apartment flats that ranged in style and upkeep. Sammy frowned at the more ritzy locations, not feeling a connection to them. He was in no mood to deal with the run down places where he would have to watch his back from his neighbors either. 'Now this looks promising!' Sammy said as he saw the sign for an apartment in front of a brownstone building. It was in fairly good upkeep and only about thirty minutes walking distance east of the Southside Palace Casino. Sammy walked up to the building and his smile widen as he read the name of the housing development, The Platinum Palace. It had a certain appeal to the newcomer and he walked inside sure that Lady Fortune had smiled upon him.

  22. Lucky Seven Casino (created by Uninverted) A casino that was unlucky enough to be the target of the supervillain Maelstorm. If not for the arrival of the hero, Nightrival, even more damage might have been caused.

  25. Alatanis Casino (from Freedom City 1st ed) Hotel and Casino built on an aquatic theme with a massive statue of King Neptune and his frolicking nymphs outside. An underground restaurant features a wide window that looks out into the South River. Golden Calf (from Freedom City 1st ed) A staute of a golden calf sits over the door and gold is heavily used in the interior decoration. The casino was fading somewhat, but has started bouncing back recently due to its bookings of younger, and more popular singers and comedians. Paradise (from Freedom City 1st ed) Emulates a tropical resort with only modest success. It is luxious and features enough indoor activities (including an indoor pool) that attract a lot of interest from tourists looking for an inexpensive alternative to actually visiting the tropics. The Southside Palace (from Freedom City 1st ed) The biggest and oldest casino on Boardwalk is openely owned by the Driogano Family -- the most powerful mobsters in Freedom City. It features nightly entertainment from singing to dancing to stand-up comedy routines. The police and local FBI keep a close eyes on the SOuthside Palace, although Big Al Driogano is smart enough to keep the public face of the "family business" clean.
