    La La Land

The first guy to speak smiled as he realized she hadn't outwardly rejected his approach. "Yeah, having a good time." He looks over at his buddy smiling. "But it'll be much better with you in the mix." The second guy took the cue and moved to Meggan's other side. Now the two men had her boxed in and began to dance, liquid from their drinks spilling uncaringly to the floor. Their movements were jerky, suggestive, and crowded into Meggan's personal dance space. It wouldn't be long before they were actually touching her. Duncan frowned as he watched the proceeds from his position near the bar. 'Do those idiots think grinding on her is going to her her attention the way they want? Man, these college boys can be idiots.' Duncan raised his glass to his lips and took another drink.

  3. Either way works for me. It's your thread and it would set up how you want to interact with The Ghost in the future. Sammy has worked with many people before coming to Freedom so he knows how his clients like to keep their privacy.

    La La Land

Duncan Maguire entered the Millennium night club wearing his black Calvin Klein ensemble and moved over to the bar. 'Tonight the music is actually passable as being good,' he thought as he orderd a drink. As he waited for the drink to be made, Duncan took a moment to check out the night's draw of single women. Duncan's eyes passed first over a group of women sitting at a table. They were dressed in the latest fashion from Chanel. Duncan turned his gaze away. He wasn't interested in women with only a textbook knowledge of fashion. He saw enough of that at work. Now, he wanted something different, something exciting, not the typical pin-up wannabes. Duncan turned around and took a small sip from his drink. His light green eyes looked over the dance floor and he smiled as he noticed the young woman in red dancing alone on the dance floor. 'Just what the doctor ordered,' he thought as he moved over into a better position to observe her movements. 'She's a pretty good dancer,' Duncan thought as he studied her. 'With legs like those, I'd say she works out a lot.' He put his glass down and ran his hand through his hair in preparation of approaching her. Unfortunately, Duncan saw the two guys head up to her before he could move. He frowned as he noticed their movements. They were already drunk. 'I wonder how she'll handle them. Might give me some insight on how to deal with her.' Duncan relaxed but continued to watch the encounter. "Hey baby," came a slightly slured voiced near Megan's ear. "Why you dancing by yourself?" The voice was attached to a man with short blond hair wearing straight black glasses, a drink in his hand. He stood fairly close to Meggan, leaning over to be heard over the loud music. Next to him, was another guy who seemed just as tipsy as the first.

    The Takeover

Sammy was slightly surprised by the strange voice but he was used to dealing with that type of thing in his line of business. "Name's The Ghost. I was told to call this number if I wanted to make some big bucks." Sammy smiled as he gave his nickname. He had gained it in the streets of Chicago after gaining his present abilities. He liked the sound of it and it did sum up his abilites nicely.

    The Takeover

Sammy picked up the phone and looked again at the number printed neatly on it. It was given to him by Dorian Magnus' man. It had been a few days since that encounter and now, Sammy was ready to try his luck again. He quickly dialed the number and waited for an answer on the other end.....

  18. The corridor was dark and ran for about thirty feet before making a turn to the right. Only three doors could be seen in the dim lighting. Sammy took a moment to take a look at the map that he was supplied with. 'Okay. I guess I'm here. This side of the building had the least amount of guard patrols but he said they do move around a bit.' Sammy looked up from his map to make sure no one had come around the corner. Satisfied that he was still okay, he looked back at his map. 'If this map is correct, I'll have to move to the fifth floor to get the box. To do that, I could take either the stairs or the elevator, both of which is right in sight of a guard station. Great.' Sammy put away the map and began to move silently down the hall. Sammy reached the edge of the corridor and peeked around the corner. Sitting at the end of another thirty foot corridor was a guard. His small desk was just before a door marked stairs. Another corridor branched off to the left. The guard was busy reading a newspaper at the moment, unaware of Sammy's presence. 'Looks like Lady Fortune has decided to smile upon me again. Now, where is that camera?' Sammy looked up for signs of a camera, but not seeing one, Sammy smiled. 'Damn things must be really well hidden. Oh, well. It's not like I need to worry about them.' Sammy concentrated for a moment on the guard and waited for the fun to begin. The unsuspecting guard leaned back in his chair to relax more. Unfortunately for him, it was just at that moment the chair decided to give under the pressure. The chair broke, sending the guard sprawling into the wall behind him. His head hit with just enough force to knock him unconscious. Sammy smiled at the display and moved quickly towards the stairs. Sammy bent down to check on the man's condition before moving into the stairwell.

  21. Using the Police Officer PL3 archetypes found in the core book p 228 for the guards. The first floor, has two stationary guards. One has a clear view of the front entrance and the elevators. The other has a clear view of the stairs and the back corridor which The ghost just came in from. The two guards do not have line of sight with each other, but through walkie talkies, can stay in contact with each other. notice check (1d20+5=9) for the guard to hear Sammy's approach. Not enough to hear once the distance modifiers are in place.
