  1. Monty's Garage (created by MBCE; PM for usage) Monty's Garage, an African-American owned business, is located on Pennslyvania and Lincoln, overlooking State Route 6. The owner, Monty, is in his mid thirty's. He often helps out some of the older people in the area so he is well liked by many. Monty helps fix cars but doesn't always ask for payment. The lack of funds has begun to show in the condition of his shop. A leaky roof and the increase of graffiti on the walls outside are sure signs that he's losing the battle with the neighborhood gangs. Luckily for him, his kindness has made the garage a safe haven from the gangs. Monty's Garage has a first floor that can handle four vehicles at one time. A small work office is located on the first floor where people can make payments or simply sit around watching TV. Monty often has a few of the neighbors just sitting in his office during the day. He has two bathrooms on the first floor, one for women and one for men. The women's restroom has two stalls and a small window with bars across it. The men's restroom has a stall and two urinals. A small window with bars across it lets in light during the day. The second floor only takes up half of the space. It is split into two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a kitchen. Monty often uses the rooms upstairs when he works overtime instead of returning to his home in Southside. The spare room is used as a place for kids to sleep. The roof is flat but time has not been kind to the garage. A small section collects rain water that drips into the main work space below. A door opens unto the second floor. A fire escape also conects the roof and the ground level as well as the master bedroom on the second floor. STATS Size: Medium Toughness: 10 Features:Garage, Fire Prevention System, Living Space, Workshop, Security System Total cost: 7

    La La Land

The two guys mouthed off an obscene epithet in her direction before turning away and looking for different prey. Duncan smiled as he watched Megan move deftly away from the two drunks. 'Hmm. She moves pretty good. Almost as well as me.' Duncan laughed slightly and brought his glass to his lips again. The gesture blocked his eyesight so he didn't noticed the few startled looks in his direction. "Yo! Everybody!" came the voice of the DJ over the music which had been lowered. A number of the people turned to look at the DJ, wondering what had brought on the sudden announcement. A spot light was turned onto the DJ who smiled at the crowd before him. Duncan looked over at the DJ, curious as to what was going on. "I just got the news that we have, in the number one club in Freedom City, a very special VIP guest!" The DJ, the ultimate showman, raised his arms to the crowd hightening the anticipation of the crowd. "Do you wanna know who?" He yelled out to the crowd. A few people in the crowd called out their desire but it obviously wasn't enough for the DJ. "It don't sound like you wanna know. If you wannna know who's in the house, you better make some noise!" The DJ yelled out while again raising his arms to draw the crowd into it. More people turned towards teh DJ booth and shouted out their desire to hear who the VIP was. Half of the people on the dance floor had stopped dancing. Their attention had turned to the spectacle slowly gaining momentum. The DJ smiled to the crowd, finally satisfied with the response. "Second only to Johnny Rocket in speed, Freedom City's very own......." The crowd held their collective breaths waiting for the DJ to reveal his secret. By now, the whole club was watching the DJ to see exactly who was in the club. Eyes darted from side to side as people tried to see in the darkness exactly who would be revealed. "Duncan Maguire!!!!!" As the name rolled off of his lips, the DJ pointed in Duncan's direction. A spotlight engulfed Ducan, slightly blinding him. He raised his arm to block the light slightly. He smiled slightly at the faces looking in his direction. Duncan had only a few seconds more of freedom before a mob of women surrounded him while asking for his autograph.

  10. Sammy paused as he took in the stairwell. It was bare of features, the walls a uniform grey. 'why do they always make these places so lifeless? Why couldn't they decorate with a little more flair? A few Picassos or Van Goghs would go a long way to towards spicing up the place.' Sammy paused on the stairwell as he realized that he had climbed too high. 'What the?' he thought as he turned around. The safecracker removed his map again and checked it. 'These stairs don't open up on the fifth floor! I have to use a different set.' Sammy traced his finger along the map. 'Damn! The stairs I need are all the way on the other side of the building! Who made this map anyway? I should feed him his liver for giving me false information.' Sammy rolled the map up and placed it away. He moved quickly down the stairs to the only other door he passed which led to the second level. Slowly, he opened the door and glanced into the darkness beyond.

  13. Number of Guards on 2nd floor (1d6=4) There is a percentage chance of a guard being located near Sammy's present location. 2nd floor has 25% chance of a guard being nearby. Roll each time to see how many guards are nearby. 25% chance of nearby guard (1d100=75, 1d100=24, 1d100=64, 1d100=21) Two guards are nearby. 19. Umm, the Brotherhood are a low level street gang. They are listed in the Freddom source book as the main gang in the area. But odn'T worry, about Nightrival. I plan on having something for him to deal with as well depending on how things go. :D

    La La Land

The first guy to speak smiled as he realized she hadn't outwardly rejected his approach. "Yeah, having a good time." He looks over at his buddy smiling. "But it'll be much better with you in the mix." The second guy took the cue and moved to Meggan's other side. Now the two men had her boxed in and began to dance, liquid from their drinks spilling uncaringly to the floor. Their movements were jerky, suggestive, and crowded into Meggan's personal dance space. It wouldn't be long before they were actually touching her. Duncan frowned as he watched the proceeds from his position near the bar. 'Do those idiots think grinding on her is going to her her attention the way they want? Man, these college boys can be idiots.' Duncan raised his glass to his lips and took another drink.
