  1. Perhaps you guys can help me with this. I'm doing a build that has a person changing into a second form. For simplicity sake, I'm using Metamorph. I had alot to put in this build, and trying to get all the non-instant powers was just making me annoyed. Basically, I'm trying to mimic the ability to be in her second form for awhile, then have it end. Fades with the Total Fade extra works but, because I'm using metamorph, only allows her to assume that form for 2 rounds. This seems a little low. I had the idea to apply the progression feat, but I'm not sure how that would really work. Any ideas? That don't require Alt Form or UP. I'm poor, and can't afford 40 bucks for a book right now. (And I hate PDFs, though I may have to get over that one)

One thing it seems like we're heading towards abundance with is mercenary villains. So that might be worth avoiding if you plan to do a villain.

  4. My worst was probably 5th grade when I chipped the bone in my elbow. I'd been sitting on the mailbox(cause I was small enough to do so at the time, and thought it was funny), got into an argument with my sister about April fools day pranks, she grabbed me, I fell and in essence elbow dropped concrete. Not a fun experience. Had to get an MRI for that one. Took forever, and this was back when you go fully inside the tube. Bright lights, banging noises, and you can't go to sleep, because you have to make sure the body part doesn't move out of where they put it. What may actually have been more painful then the break was the nurse having to wrench my arm around so they could take X-Rays. I also broke my leg at 4, but I blacked out from that one, and snapped a tendon three years ago this month, which was really just a moment of blinding pain, and then as long as I kept it elevated, it was fine. Still have scar tissue from slamming into my headboard one time. Don't remember how old I was then. Fairly young, I know that much. I'm just lucky I didn't need stitches, or have a concussion. At least, I don't think I did.

  6. I think that would work very well. As a note, I'm taking a heavy school load right now, so this may be slow in coming together. If you have any idea's, feel free to PM them, or post them here, I'm still online a good bit. Though I'll be out of contact most of this weekend.

  8. In response to Shadowboxer: Yes. I think they will end up destroying this movie. This is not a comic book that can make it onto the big screen. There isn't much action through alot of the book. It's a piece about character development and whether or not a world of high technology has any need to people in costumes. Among other things, but they'd all be spoilers, so I shan't post them Not exactly the things the public expects when they see people in costumes. The costumes so far look ok. Rorschach looks spot on, but the rest look like they're trying too hard to be Iron Age. Comedian is the exception there, because he's supposed to look like that, but something about his costume looks fake to me. I think it's got something to do with his mask.

  10. It's for occasions just such as this that I have skill mastery in sense motive, giving me a total of a 20. Does that save?

  12. Ok, I think I'm gonna go with Arabian Nights. I need to reread some of the stories to really come up with this, but I should still have the book somewhere. Any refs interested in administering the game? And of course players interested in playing.

  14. I feel like a bad geek, I've never even heard of most of the games you guys are talking about. I need to get out to the store more.

  16. See, I actually like Daylight savings. I just wish we didn't fall back. I'm fine with getting up when it's dark, let if(by the clock) stay light later. It's depressing the other way around.

  18. Despite her twisting and dodging, the spear manages to catch Badb in the lower abdomen, drawing a short grunt. Still, the odds had gotten a little better, and the glow had begun to fade. 'Can't give him anymore power.' Ignoring the man with the spear, Badb concentrates on taking out the other bruiser. To this end, Badb Fakes a roll toward the left, then jukes right. Hoping the bruiser will be unable to follow her fancy foot work, Badb unleashes a powerful blast. In the moments silence that follows her shot, Badb just manages to pick up sounds from outside. It sounds like people. Alot of them. 'Sh*te'

  20. Once upon a time Badb had promised herself she would never come to this place. She was a professional, a mercenary. Yes, most of her employers asked her to break the law, but a fight was a fight. And of course, on a more practical level, there was always the chance someone would recognize her from her past. Not likely, people have short memories once you stop trying to save the world, or go for gold at the Olympics. But times had been altogether fairly boring recently, and so it was that Addie got into her car, drove to a secluded lot out by the riverfront, and changed into the avatar of the Irish war goddess she styled herself to be. As Badb she flies toward the Arena, glow of her internal radiation just barely silhouetting her toned, muscular form. Touching down near the door she lets herself in and finds herself greeted by a strange old man. "Stow it, whatever ye have ta say. I'm here for work, and ye don' look like the type ta give it to me." Badb casts an appraising eye over the place, and for once wishes the Freedom League had a more open policy toward contractual workers. They're meeting place had to be much nicer, as well as not involve flying out over the water in costume. Must be quite annoying during the winter months.

  22. This is true, however I have an issue with using Shakespeare. First and foremost his plays are very well known, so the idea of being trapped in the unknown is significantly lessoned. It seems most everyone has read or seen at least 2 of his plays. I'd like to do something a little less common, but with some of the same elements. Maybe something like Arabian Nights.

  24. So, I'm thinking of a campaign to do at Claremont, and this is what I've come up with. It's time for the school play, parts have been(or are being) cast, and the show is starting. So far so good. Then Quirk shows up. He doesn't think the play is accurate enough, and the actors are soooooo fake. So he decides to send them into the setting of the play for real, so that they can study up on how the part is done. Any suggestions for which play we should do?
