  1. Joe looked around. Still more robots. Then he looked down at the knife in his hand. He didn't have the energy to run over there and make a stab, but perhaps a throw would be just what he needs. Reeling back, Joe hurls the knife with all the force he can muster at the closest robot. "If it gets lost, I owe you a new one!"
  2. Reflex save against DC 15 (1d20 10=23) Am I know outside the building?
  3. Those are all really good ideas, but I was just trying to be heard over a further range. I should start working on power stunts though.
  4. About a minute later Badb recovers from her blow to the head and wakes back up. She is obviously angry with herself, more so when she looks over and sees Legend, remembering that she has an audience. "This round Ironhide, this round."
  5. Badb never hears Ironhide's offer. The blow had been clean and knocked her clear into the wall, though she was out even before she hit that. With her final thought she cursed her luck slow reaction. She would have to get better.

    A Strange Visitor

High Note notices the pandemonium going on all around him. How can he not. Sounds of violence fill the air, as well as the confused shouts of a scared populace. Drawing in his breath the young man decides to try a different tactic then just blasting at the spiders and humanoids. Trying his best to be heard over the din, he shouts over toward the spire. "Hey! Explain yourselves! What do you think gives you the right to drag us into your war?!"
  7. This was getting annoying. Badb knew her abilities where enough to take this man down, if only she can neutralize his powers. Summoning her energy she moves back about 100 feet and lets loose with one last blinding shot. This time the shot scores clean. Now to hope it actually blinded him. Otherwise it would be time to just blast with all she had.
  8. ...I think I'm gonna cry. Honestly. Flat-footed and at a minus from a charge attack, and I roll the natural 1. Poogas!
  9. Just checking to see if you saw this. I'm fairly certain I had a hero point left(and then no more), but I want to be sure before I act on it.
  10. Not taking any chances this time, Badb twist in the air, drawing Ironhide to the left before suddenly launching an attack against the other flyer. Unfortunately, he twisting and juking throws off her aim and her bright bolt sails harmlessly past. "Oh, by the Morrigan!"
  11. I have a power stunt I'd like to try. Basically I want to be able to use my sonic control as a way to make a diplomacy check at a larger range. Any idea's on how to handle that?
  12. Should I just jump in now? I'm confused.
  13. The punch impacts on Badb's jaw, snapping her head back and looking to damn near kill her. Badb however rolls with the force of the blow and spins around in the air. She has a shiner looking to form, but is otherwise unhurt. Badb takes advantage of her foes charge, and aims another blinding blast at him. Once he can't see, she can finish him off at her leisure. The Irish lass releases her bolt, though the blow seems to make it go wide.
  14. Badb manages to avoid the crushing arms of Ironside, though she can plainly see that she would be wise to keep doing so. But it will be quite hard for him to hit what he can't see. Charging up, she unleashes another blinding attack against her sparring partner, though she misses but a small margin. Her miss inspires Badb to take evasive action, and she flies to the other end of the arena.
  15. Badb couldn't believe her foe had managed to dodge her blinding flash. Not even bothering to taunt this time, Badb landing a solidly connecting blow. She smirked, waiting to see Ironhide's response. (OOC. Wow, I say out loud 'Come on 20' and for once it works)
  16. Badb is quick to dodge, and just as quick to bring her arm up to attack again. He'd taken a full blast and shrugged it off, but lets see how he likes when it goes for the eyes. "Surprise!" The white hot light leaps from Badb's outstretched arm, crashing into Ironhide's unprotected face.
  17. Indeed. But sooner or later one of us will roll horribly. But if nothing else this is showing me I need more options.
  18. Was that 18 your attack roll? Because that shouldn't hit me. I'm not flat-footed as I already acted, and we had no surprise round. Don't worry, you'll likely kill me once you do hit.
  19. Well, I have evasion, so I might as well try my luck. And I'm getting an error message. And Reflex save against DC 22 (1d20 10=21). I still have a hero point from left in this thread don't I? Just in case, Hero Point Reroll against DC 22 Reflex (1d20 10=24)
  20. "And I am Badb, most fierce of the Morrigan. Care to recall what happened to your namesake when he ran afoul of our temper? Now put down your spear, which is surely not the Gae Bulg, and I will let you leave. Force me further and I will claim this battle ground and yourself as my trophies." Badb puts steel into her words a grim smile on her face, all the while preparing to dodge the attack she knows will be coming. (OOC I'm going total defense)
  21. "Only rule I have is no trying to look up my skirt. Though I do have a piece of friendly advice. Duck. With that the celtic war goddess sends a bolt of high powered radiation shooting toward her foe.
  22. Init Roll (1d20 7=19) For sparring with Ironhide

  24. "I suppose that's the danger o' workin' fer the mob. Aye, with killin' in general. They'll always come down on ye harder. If they know who it twas who did it." The Irish villainess finish up her drink takes another look around. The place was mostly dead tonight. It seemed no one was planning anything, or hiring anyone. This life was starting to get to her. She needed a fight. "You seem like a tough one. Fancy a sparring match?"
