  1. Well, I live in Japan, so 99% of the TV is in Japanese, so that is my excuse for not watching TV at all (maybe an hour a month, or less) but even if I were in the states, I probably would not watch much. I ahve moved almost entirely to the Internet for news and entertainment. However, I might watch Heroes if I made an effort. It looks like a cool concept, but I ahve never seen it. Yes, I'm looking at this site!!

  4. Clyst looks at Kevin and says, "But I thought I got to name you? The first human to see me named me, and I use that name still. Clyst! he yelled, very loudly and ran away.

  7. Galeb waits outside the church for a good half hour before some of the early parishioners start coming to the dawn mas.Galeb waits silently and still, and many of the people probably think he is just a statue, though a very inappropriate one for a catholic church, being of some kind of pagan religion. But Galeb is not a statue and he is watching, even though he does not move. He sends out his magical senses, but not detecting any spirits or demons around, at least not now. The mass inside goes on for a good hour, and even though it is strange to Galeb, he recognizes the age-old rhythms and chants of worship. New words, new rituals, but the same purpose. Galeb always enjoys the masses and ceremonies, being born of one, peformed oh so long ago. How long even Galeb does not know. But after the mass is over the young priest walks outsdie with the first few parishioners, a bunch of older ladies, more outspoken than most. One of the old ladies exclaims, Father Tom, what is that statue doing here? Why is it out here? This is a christian place, and that statue is..... well I don't know what it is. Father Tom walks over to Galeb and frowns slightly, for he is sure Galeb was not here when he arrived two hours ago for the early mass, and cannot figure out how he came to be here. Bu in a city full of supers and .... others, it does not pay to be too careful, so he is slowly backing up when Galeb speaks, Father, I am called Galeb, and I have come to help you, to guard your Temple. and moves a bit to change position to a hopefully les intimidating one. But to no avail. The movement startles Father Tom out of a year of growth at least and the older women scatter backwards, hands on chests in a flurry of squacks of surprise. OOC:Any one to jump in?

  10. Clyst looks at the strange being in front of him, assured somehow, for some reason by the almost intangible feeling of power that he man radiates, a similar power that Clyst knows resides inside of him also. Frankly, it is one of the few things keeping him here in the open, with the noise and smells, and everything going on all around him at this moment. But then he feels a surge of the power, this odd power, that definitely comes from the person in front of him, and fills him with energy. making him a lot more than he was before. And to Clyst it is like a door opening, or a glimpse of the fuure? For Clyst knows he is still growing and growing fast, changing from what he was to something else, but he does not really know what. But that only tkaes a second, and then Clyst says, "What did you do? How did you change me?"

  13. Well for me, I have the Core Book and Ultimate Power, and I just got Ultimate Power a couple months ago. Not sure what if anything else I need, so I'm probably going to stick with what I need. Which is very at odds with my D&D buying where I buy lots of books. M&M feels very inadequate on my bookshelf. :D

  16. Clyst is not sure what to do now. He said hello. He reached out and touched someone. But no answer. No real reaction. Did it even hear him? Clyst wondered. Clyst thought for a second and then decided to get closer and shake hands. So out of the sewer grate he flowed the steel dividers flowing smoothly through his form, or his form around them. An then when he was out in the open, he can be clearly seen asa blob roughly 6 feet long, 2 wide and six to eight inches thick, pale green, with odd pinclusions that come and go withing his body. There ae no eyes, ears, nor any apparent appendage. He rears up, pushing the middle of his mass upwards,s the edges contract until be becomes a squat column about 4 feet high and 2-3 feet in diameter. He looks like nothing on this earth outside a horror movie. Clyst made a parody of a hand (really just an extended lump of pale green tissue, and said again mentally, "Good to meet you. I am Clyst." It seems to be hard for the blob to form itself into an upright shape, and wavy lines go through it, as the body constantly rearranges itself.

  22. Hi, main goal here is to meet the priest or priests of St. George's and get into my character a bit. Anyone who wants to drop by, let me know. Players or Refs.

  25. GAleb moved through the pre-dawn light, his huge weight lightly moving across the streets and sidewalks, incongruously not damaging a scrap of pavement, until he stepped on a can or some such and smashed it flatter than flat, almost making it part of the pavement it was now permanently attached to. He knew where he was going, though he knew not much about this huge temple complex yet. Too many buildings, too many people, and too much damage when he moved. Galeb knew he was big, and cars, poles, and such did not survive contact with him for long. But today he was out, watching those colored lights carefully, hoping no one would run into him today. The last time was so embarrassing. He was supposed to guard the petitioners, not damage their cars, but the cars were so fast, and came out of nowhere. it was hard not to step on them, or just be in the street when they came whizzing around a corner. So now here, he was, near St. George's church, and the look of the building, though totally different from those he had guarded long centuries before, was familiar in its feeling; peace, and the contact possible with higher powers. So outside the church he stood, waiting to see a priest, easily identifiable by their white roman collars, one of the reasons he had decided to visit this church first.
