  1. And Clyst watches the humans for a while, secure in his sewer fortress, and wait for dark to fall, for he has noticed that the humans virtually disappear at night, though he is not totally sure why. But it is unmistakeable. Maybe it is too cold for them, but then why are they outside now, and why don't they just warm themselves like Clyst does. And what is with all the stuff they wear on their bodies. Sometimes they wear so little, like on the beach, and now they wear so much, like here and nw. Very confusing. But after a while he moves back into he sewer, and starts looking for a hole to hide in, a place secure enough for him to rest and not be attacked. He searches the rest of the day.

  3. I am thinking of taking contagious Mind control. Am I correct in thinking that if it is sense dependent, the contagious effect would be sen se dependent also. Also, if not sense dependent, it only spreads by touch, correct? If it can spread at range, how would that be done? Also, is there an upper limit on how many people can be affected by the contagion at one time?

  6. OOC: Not sure why the "Talking animals" and "talking ones" are entering the posts. Is Clyst under some sort of mental control or influence that is putting these thoughts into his head? If not, I would prefer to write his reactions and views of humans myself. Clyst barely notices the heat and steam as his body keeps him at a good temperature, maybe the only reason it did not is he was distracted by all the things and peoples moving around. Sticking out one eye section, he looks at he cars, and peoplel and everything else moving by, so very very close. He is scared, indeed, but this is so.... alive, so ... differnt form the bottomless ocean where he feels most at home. Not sure where to go or what to do, he keeps a lookout, looking for perhaps one of those with special posers, who he fels drawn to.

  9. Generally that is Taiwan or South Korea, actually. Japanese politicans bore you to death, or play dead a lot.

  12. Luckily Clyst has an answr to that. Reforming his internal structure a bit, he starts to generate heat automatically, not knowing if it might be noticed or not. In seconds, it is a balmy 80 degrees in a good 30 foot radius, centered on teh sewer grate. OOC: 5 points of Power into Environment-heat, then turned up to max effect. The other 7 points into Aura-Heat.

  15. Did you have anything in particular in mind? No, not really. Just trying to get my head into my character before i intro him to a real player on the boards.

  18. Just last night, the population of Freedom Cuioty increased by one, but a very strange one, as Clyst moved through a sewer grate and into the sewers of Freedom City. Moving along slowly and with great curiosity, Clyst examined the metal of the pipe, and the many holes that lead to various houses and businesses in the low rent district of the Fens. He was both excited nad a bit fearful at the same time. For he had decided to leave the water behind, and try a long-term foray into the land above, for he felt he was finally ready for the jump upwards, but had no idea whet would happen, or if he could even do it. So he moved along, heading up the pipe until a speck of daylight formed a good ly distance away and grew steadily stronger. Stgronger and stronger, to Clyst it seemed a gateway to his new life, and his expectations grew and diminished as he got closer. His feelings warring with himself, always a very uncomfortable thing, a\s his body was very prone to losing cohesiveness even in the best situations, and even a small change in his structure and internal procewsses could have strong effects on his environment. And then, arriving, he looked out on the scene, Downtown Freedom. OOC: No heroes of Villians here right now, but if the referees have anything, jump on in. This is a bit of a solo thing right now. I'll post more, including potential stuff for other people in a couple of days.

  21. Hello, everyone. I am also a gamer, and have been since the early early 1980s when the gaming club at my (catholic) elementary school ran it as one of the games we perused. Took me awhile to find a new player, and then trying to figue out why a game called "Dungeons and Dragons" had countryside in it was a bit of a problem. Ok, so I tend to be literal. Hadn't yet read a rulebook up to that point. But started playing with my youngest brother, and playedal through high school and university with a large variety of folks, and after a year or so long hiatus after moving to Japan, I started up again. I really missed it. Been involved in a face to face game with mostly the same people, including on on this sight for the last 10 or so years, and I have been heavy into online gaming that whole time also. Mostly I play D%D and M&M with a few forays into Deadlands, Star Wars and a few others. Nice to meet all of you.

  24. Well, I'm thinking the test days are gonna be a breeze for me. Of course grading all those tests the next day will not be much fun. I seem to be on the other side of the podium form a lot of you.
