  1. If only inheirited genetic memory could be blamed for all diabolic purposes. The best I can do is chicken fajitas. Maybe I'll share recipies... if I can ever nail down how much chili powder, oregeno, etc. I add each time. I pretty much just wing it each time depending on how much chicken I have. EDIT: That was not meant as a pun. :D

  6. Nanowire's armored up in his Pnumatic Driver mode. What he does now will depend on who he percieves to be the biggest threat.

  9. Nanowire - Dusk - Southside Suburbs The Southside of Freedom City seemed to be undergoing some manner of "Devil's Night" celebration if the currently burning houses were anything to go by. Not only that, but several people were dressed up for the occasion. The most ostentatious had to be the spandex clad escapee from Themyscira, but the silver colored guy hugging the white haired dude up on the rooftops had to rate right up there as well. For a moment, Renichi just stood and watched along with the other onlookers. As he had no idea what was going on, or who was responsible for what, rushing in seemed to be a poor idea. But as he saw the silver guy continue to constrict the other man into unconsciousness, he felt like he had to take action. With everybody's attention glued to the superhuman hugfest or the pyro paradise, Renichi snuck off, hopefully unnoticed, to the nearest parked car. He hated this part. Renichi's skin on his arm split open, sending tendrils of nanoprobes into the automobile, hereafter to be referred to as "mass reservoir". The nanites sheared off the outer skin of the vehicle in a spilt second, breaking down the matter at the molecular level so it could be recombined in a more form more useful for today's active combat mecha. The still-liquid matter arranged itself around his body according to a pre-chosen set of characteristics by use of localized magnetic fields. Barely three seconds had passed before the car was no more, and the liquid leftovers had been solidified into Nanowire's exterior surface. Nanowire turned back to the battle already in progress, ready to... well, he still wasn't all that sure, but he was ready to do it.

  15. Nanowire - Dusk - Approaching Southside Suburbs Though the sounds of destruction had tapered off, Renichi could still hear something going on up ahead. Maybe the people responsible had already been put out? No, probably not. Most battles involving posthuman combatants created a much bigger uproar in his experience. This one had probably just hit a lull before the inevitable "Michael Bayesque hyperkinetic hormonal posturing". Ass-kicking, for the uninitiated in the art of excessively opaque verbalization. Renichi picked up his gait. He didn't want to miss this.

  18. Wow, this all happened quickly. Okay, let me first assure you, and everyone out there, that I cannot use my Limitation to my advantage; that would be a blatant misuse of the discount I got for it. I cannot appropriate anything people are wearing, wielding, or otherwise have purchased with points. This includes if you want to pick up a piece of scenery and hit me with it. I cannot disarm you using that power. However, using a regular disarm, (and approval from the GM) I might be able to incorporate it into Nanowire's body instead of just knocking it away. With that out of the way, I roll for initiative. Ouch. Technically, I got a one on my roll. Does that mean I still go last, even though my adjusted init is over 3? (It's a house rule at one of my games, but I don't know how you want to play it here.) EDIT: And once again, I didn't read the whole instruction post. Sorry, Barnum. But you don't think I'd cheat to get a one, right? ;)

  21. Actually, according to UP, you'll hit exactly 10 feet.

  24. Well, freedom, for one. As a superhero, you are more or less at the mercy of the GM's in your play choices. Villains, however, are in no way constrained by the same thing. You want to rob a bank? Rob that bank. You want to knock over a building because you don't like the color scheme? Paint it in bright primary colors. You want to hurl fecal matter at the Centurion statue in Riverside Park? Build a trebuchet, order a shipment of cow dung and get to it. I find it's more about planning and execution than anything else. Like I said, as a hero, you are more or less on rails. Being proactive in my activities appeals to me. I get to screw with named characters like Captain Thunder and if I pull it off right, I can do so without even being seen. Beating a guy over the head with the superstructure of a cruise liner might be fun, but getting somebody else to do it for you, manipulating the situation from behind the scenes with a few well placed words? That's gold. Being intelligent is the name of the game for me, and getting up off my ass just to fly out and beat up the villain of the week as part of some extremely black and white motivation holds little entertainment. I get enough of that at my weekly FtF game.
