He's attending as a guest, the tradition is to not have know superheroes as members.

It is a club for the "movers and shakers", and Emissary's position as an ambassador does make him someone that is likely to end up on the guest list from time to time.

Megan turned to look at the voice that called her parents name. Though she had heard some of the rumors about Mr. King’s hard business reputation, it was not the first time someone in his position had such a reputation.

Sabrina grabbed a hold of the top of the fire hydrant with her large hands and began to pull. Luckily, her ten feet of height was not just for show, as her enhanced muscles strained and then pulled to top right off.

Of course, her reward for that was a face full of water as the pressure sent a geyser into the air. *cough* *cough*, the ten foot tall brunette brought her hands up in front of her face to shield her from the water and then lowered them down into the geyser and tried to use the massive palms to direct the jet of water at the burning buildings.

His armored head turns again as he takes in the busy street, and he adds wryly, "But not in the middle of the street like this, with everyone watching...I think I'm going to make some calls." With that, Freedom Eagle reaches into his harness and produces a wireless long-range communicator, a hi-tech device that lets you have telephone conversations miles away from a landline! It appears to have been made by Nokia. "I'll get in touch with the League, then we can see about moving this thing."

Actually Cong, I do believe the streets are deserted, when Velocity checked out the area, Barnum said all the people had cleared out :)

Velocity had just been about to reply to Raindancer when Hybrid rose back up from the inside of the giant mummy. "Mechanical? Really?" She asked and then shook her head. "Nope, no way to trace a signal here."

Velocity suddenly reappeared near the giant mummy, small whirlwinds of litter kicking up along her path from the speed she moved with. "No sign of anything in the area. And all the civilians have cleared out to safety." She reported.

Actually, the character has both lethal and non-lethal the way Cos has it written up. To be immune to both lethal and non-lethal damage of the appropirate damage type costs 40 pp, with the -1 flaw, that is 20 pp, which he spent.

But what the Will roll should be to activate the Immuity is a good question. Its not realy an opposed roll, as its her power she is tryng to activate, the level of the attack coming in doesn't really affect that more. And as Silver said, to activate the needed Immunity (say non-lethal physical) is 20 ranks of Immunity, needing a Will check of 30. Not sure if there is a good way to simulate this, I'll think about is some more.

Velocity is going to take 20 on her search check of the area around where the mummy appeared. With her quickness 7, in the 2 minutes (20 rounds) it takes to take 20 on a search check, she can search 500 10'x10' areas :)

Megan had followed her parents as they started their way into the expansive confines of the mansion and the crowd of people within. Of course they did not make it far before her father was stopping to talk with some client, or acquaintance, and Megan had on her warmest smile as she listened though the introductions and pleasantries, and the conversations that followed.

They had not moved very far from the main entrance when a young Japanese man in a wheelchair, pushed by a large man, approached them. Donald Howell turned to greet him with a smile. “Your most welcome Benjiro, and I am sorry if they gave you a difficult time.â€Â

“Good evening Mr. Fujisama.†Erin Howell replied with her own warm smile, very much like her daughter’s. “It is good to see you again.â€Â
