Megan lay back as Randy dipped her and held her still for a few moments. Then when he stood them back up she smiled. “Thank you, you were excellent as well.†She replied to his compliment about her dancing.

Yeah, I am flying to Southern California later today, and won't be back till Sunday. I'll likely get on to post some, but not like normal.
Velocity will probably chat a bit (she does need to kill a bit of time after all), but if these tests are going to take hours, she will likely head off to her party, and give Eagle a number to reach her at when they know more.

Was poking around on the Wayback Machine here, and found the old City of Heroes forums I have mentioned before in a few places here. Sadly the roleplaying forum was not archived (or any of the roleplaying threads)

If you look at the two though, note that the first “picture†of the site (on Nov 14 of ’01) had 8,219 posts in the roleplaying forum, and then on the next (Dec 18 of ’01) it was up to 17185! Lot of posts for month! (and it just got worse over the next two years)

A second later she had zipped back over near where the others were gathered. “Soooooo, we going in or just going to stand out here looking like tourists?â€Â

“Oh, I am sure it was.†Megan replied as she easily followed along with Randy as they walzed around the dance floor.
"My folks made me take dance lessons too . . . as a punishment for getting expelled from school. "“Expelled? You sound like you might be a bad influence. Should I be careful around you?†Megan asked with a slight grin, raising one eyebrow.

He leaned back on the bed and put his arms behind his head. "I know this great little pizza place. We could get it to go and have lunch in the park."
Megan leaned back slightly, putting one arm down on the bed as she looked over at Randy. “That would be nice, but skipping out at my school isn’t quite so easy. The classes are pretty small, so I would be missed. Sides, I am pretty sure my civics class is having a quiz tomorrow.†She said with a sigh.

Velocity took one of the offered comm devices. “Thanks, I have a few things I need to go take care of.†She looked over at the others and gave a smile. “Sorry I need to cut out for a little bit, but I’ll be right back as soon as the analysis is done.â€Â
With that, she is off, heading towards home so she can get ready and call Cory so she could at least spend a bit of time with him at the Halloween party.
