  1. (describing her action from the first round)

Having gotten clear of Cory and changed into her costume in the blink of an eye, Velocity then moved down to the street corner near 60th street.

    (New round actions)

The young heroine's hand became a blur of motion as she reached into a pouch on her belt and started taking out marbles, flinging them at the giant mummy at tremendous speed. The marbles sailed through the air, though only one struck the giant mummy..

  2. Sabrina Anders was taking in some of the sights of the Boardwalk with a group of her friends from Freedom College. The attractive brunette was taking the time to enjoy the short time off they had from school at this time, and some of her friends from school had wanted to see the area around the casinos. While she had never been one to spend much time here, Sabrina had to admit it was one of the safer areas in Southside, so she had been willing to go along with her friends to make sure they got here alright.

  5. I like to "include" my rolls this way:

"Barnum took off toward the giant mummy, fists clenched. She took a huge swing at the mummy's head, but her punch went wide."

And yes, in a "player led" thread, it would be wise for players to make as many preemptive rolls as they can. It just makes the Ref's job (if a Ref is needed at all) easier. Of course, contested/opposed rolls will probably need a Ref's help. We'll keep an eye out for such things.

In GM led threads, I say leave it up to the GM.

Good to know, when its time for Velocity to make an attack roll I'll be sure to try to remember to incorporate it that way :)

  8. Megan turned the street towards the loud sound and bright light to look at the massive mummy, tensing as she saw it. "I don't think that is part of the show!" She said to Cory with a frightened tone, taking the opportunity to slip free from his arm. She got ready for a surge of people trying to get away from the creature to use her speed to move away and out of sight to change.

  9. Added a small blurb on personality.

    Her parents:

Harold Anders: Mr. Anders lives in Ashton with his wife and is a architect in one of Freedom City's larger architectual firms. He is usually rather busy, and often travels out of town for projects. He tends to be somewhat protective of Sabrina, his only child, and still is not quite sure what to make of the fact that she has powers, even though he learned over a year ago when she was admitted to Claremont Academy.

Lisa Anders: Mrs. Anders is a legal secretary at a small law firm in Ashton (which allowed her to be home a at decent time when Sabrina was growing up). She was always the one at every game, swim meet or other event in Sabrina's life, so the two are very close. Now that Sabrina is off at college (even though it is still in Freedom City), she is feeling the house is emptier.
