Heritage
Trying to use a little Diplomacy to get Rhekgar motivated: 1d20+10=13, 17 with Attractive Man, I should have just stuck with Skill Mastery! I know this will seem dumb, but I almost want to blow an HP for a reroll, because that was some fine Diplomattin' I wrote there! Or would that be something else other than Diplomacy? Link to comment
Blarghy
I for one would love to bust heads with a fictional barbarian warrior, so if you've got a Hero Point to spare, then hell yeah, get this guy on our side. Link to comment
Sophistemon
That sounds like a good idea, Heritage. Would you like to spend your Hero Point, or see if the current role was enough? Link to comment
Heritage
I think I'd like to use the HP, because I really liked that speech Link to comment
Heritage
1d20+10=22, 26 w/ Attractive Well not amazing, but definitely better; only time will tell if it was worth it Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Hokay, I'll wait for Blarghy - someone needs to explain what's going on to Aquaria! How much can she see with her biological and armored Super-Senses, by the way? Link to comment
Sophistemon
@Avenger Assembled There is enough light filtering in from the entrance of the tunnel for Sea Devil to see things quite clearly, although there's not a whole lot to see. The most interesting thing is the man using his telekinesis to float in midair about a foot below you. Link to comment
Blarghy
I'm not sure that Warne can explain much beyond the basic problem, and he definitely can't fix it. Punchline, on the other hand, has Craft (Electronics), but do the other characters know that? And I assume he's still back in the kitchen, right? Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
I'll be honest, I liked the visual of Sea Devil trying to use her armor to make the connection, but yes, we should wait on Punchline, I suppose. Link to comment
Blarghy
Oh, that sounds cool; I didn't know it was an option. What do you need from Adept, then, do you think? Just a basic description of the problem ("This wire's cut,") and then for him to get out of her way? Or should I try to assist with a (rather low bonus) Knowledge (Technology) roll? Link to comment
Sophistemon
I'm interested in seeing what Sea Devil can do, if you're willing to take a crack at it. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
I hope it won't ruin any illusions if I say that Sea Devil is going to grab one end of the electricity with one hand and the other end with the other hand and see what happens.. Let me know if that's actually a good idea. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Let me know if that actually works, or if I need to roll the dice, or something. Link to comment
Blarghy
Ok, just to clarify, we're looking for multiple fictional characters, right? Three movies were threatened, but do we only have confirmation of one actual missing character, the barbarian guy? Or was he just the only example we directly saw from the Fanatic's ransom video back at the beginning? Either way, I assume that there aren't any other cages or prisoners visible in this part of the bunker, right? (Not that Adept can see any of it from his current position anyway). Sophistemon
@Blarghy There are three characters missing, one currently found: Rhekgar. The other two are Dirk Saber and Helen Ridley. @Avenger Assembled No, that ought to do it for now, AA. I've delayed the climax long enough as it is. Link to comment
Heritage
I totally forgot to have Casey Bend Bars/Lift Gates (AD&D represent!), but being Distracted by the Sexy will do that to you! Anything to roll, or is it pretty easy for her to break them? Link to comment
Sophistemon
Miracle Girl is more than strong enough to free Rhekgar from his cell. Link to comment
Sophistemon
Heritage, would Miracle Girl care to add anything before we move on? Link to comment
Heritage
Feel free to move on; if I think of anything else, I can sort of add it retroactively, so to speak. Link to comment
Heritage
Let me know if I have to make any rolls. Link to comment
Heritage
Darn it, I forgot Warne wanted to question them! Will need to edit my post. EDIT: sorta fixed it. Let me know if that works for people Edited October 9, 2017 by Heritage Link to comment
Blarghy
Works for me! Although if Soph wants to have them answer Warne's last question about whether or not they recognized the Fanatic from one of their movies, before MG flies off, then that'd be cool. Or he can be cruel and whisk these ladies away to build more tension. Either way, I'm good to continue. Link to comment
