Using Move-by Action, he goes for a full rank 10 Endless Forms Most Beautiful illusion that shows the Ecogrid as it is before they reach it, while showing them all flying away towards the sky. There's a 500 ft. radius, so they'll fly quite a bit into the sky. Since the Obscure effect is independent, that remains in effect.

 

Finishing his move action, he reaches the Ecogrid.
