  1. Again apologies for the large delay. But my free time is obviously back in order. And since you said you're willing to continue let's get that show on the road. Omen takes the opportunity to demoralize the already stunned Get Away as a standard action. With a roll of 28 which succeeds against her Sense Motive of 18 Get Away wants to try and make a run for it. But she's reeling, terrified, and isn't going to risk more bodily harm than she just finished receiving. So this time the speedster gives in. Of course Miss Traykoss is still being difficult but she is essentially out of combat now. Trap Door for his part had a pretty impressive stealth roll of 34. However, I'm going to dock him 5 whilst he's moving to get near. As he takes his entire round entering the scene through one of the various mirrors strewn about the area. Leaving Velocity aware of his presence. So now the situation is Round Five Velocity (59): Unharmed, 2HP Omen (18): Unharmed, 2HP Trap-Door (12): Unharmed-GM Get Away (44): Surrendered-GM Smash (5): Unconscious-GM
  2. While sheltered wouldn't be the most apt way to describe the atlantean's life. It wouldn't be completely wrong. Her interactions growing up when not sneaking off where often of the scheduled or monitored variety. Whether her sneaking was the cause or the effect in the situation was far more arguable. Still her curiosity was piqued at the whole exotic locations other universes and all that. Thaelia waved the comment off whether circumstances sounded dire or just plain exciting as far as she was aware they were just the normal ins and outs of her life.   4. "Well don't worry, I'll be doing plenty of moving." Omen called out as he charged forward pulling out his Escrima sticks from their magnetic holsters. Suddenly he would slide forward aiming for the space between the larger man's legs to help and take him by surprise. Quick to capitalize on his own feint, the domino masked vigilante would turn back around using the motion to help launch a series of strikes towards the large man's ribcage. What he didn't expect was the soft thud of resistance when hie found himself pushing against an underlayer of armor. A wide grin on his target's face. Not exactly a great start to his assault, but Erick pulled back paying close attention to whatever came next. Well at least it'll be two on one pretty soon.
  5. With a quick scan the DC block stood out, I think they're supposed to be arranged alphabetically starting with Unarmed in the top row. And you forgot to list the enhanced con in the abilities. I haven't thoroughly eyed it. But those things stood out to me.
  6. Ah simple enough. Welp with that search she easily finds that right next to the steering well a good arm's distance away is a pair of levers. One for the throttle and another for the shift.
  7. Is the search for Trap Door or for the wheel? The wheel being more or less right by the unconscious guy.
  8. Alright the bridge is full of full body mirrors standing up on every side. Making it difficult to peer out while steering. Speaking of steering there is currently no one actually piloting the boat. The short chubby man who came to inform about when the auction would start was lying unconscious in front of the wheel. His face just as flushed as it was earlier. Whomever was piloting the ship was nowhere to be seen. It was almost as if he had disappeared without a trace.

  10. Omen gripped his stun gun firmly lunging forward as the fast moving Blur came into view. And responding with thousands of volts of electricity in kind. "No really stay, I insist." Her muscles began to quickly contract as she the voltage took her mind out of it. Get Away's eyes rolled into the back of her head for a moment and the only sound that escaped her lips was a muffled 'mmf' noise. Afterwards, Omen would pull his arm back and lift the stun gun to his mouth level blowing on it in a joking manner before making some over-dramatic sheathing motions as if he was in an Old Western putting away his revolver. Behind the reflective lenses of his domino mask, Omen's blue eyes would peer down at the petite woman whom was biting down on her bottom lip. Her mind kind of out of it.
  11. GM Waving her hands over Smash's face, Get Away wasn't able to get a single reaction out of the hulking man. The fear now turned to terror as Get Away realized the losing battle was all but lost. But she wasn't about to surrender that was for, looking to fully prove where she got her name from Get Away would take to a runner's position before calling out. "I think I'll have to pass on that offer. Ta-ta for now." She planned on making her escape the raven haired woman would attempt to make a mad dash for the stairs. Heading back down from where she had come from in the first place. Unfortunately, that plan would soon be cut short as Omen was prepared to cut her off the next time she ran by..
  12. Smash gets a 20. Nap Time! Get Away, starts a running which puts Omen ahead of her in the initiative order. Omen tries to whack away with his stun gun 24 on the attack roll which gives her a DC 17 Fortitude check to contend with. She gets a 12 so now she's stunned and not going anywhere..

  14. Omen rolled his eyes as he reached for the Stun Gun on his utility belt. Figuring it the best option for slowing her down a notch or two. "Oi, I don't think he's getting up any time soon. But don't worry I'll be the gentleman here and make sure to give you the proper attention you deserve. Careful, if you make too much noise you might end up disrupting all the other passengers." ​Omen called out derisively towards Get Away in light of her failure to make any progress in aiming Tensing up, the man would ready himself to intercept her the next time she passed by him during a mad dash. He was planning on making it her last leisurely jog of the evening.
  15. GM Get Away wasn't a tactical genius. Subscribing to the school if at first you don't succeed try and try again. And if all else failed, she could run away as far as her legs could carry her. Seeing as she had been planning on supporting Smash so he could do all the work the complete change of pace had taken her for a loop. Gritting her teeth the brunette would be begin circling the heroes, with little concern for the safety of her teammate. Smash didn't even feel the slightest tickle from the sensation of the Sonic Boom. And her actual targets were prepared on the second go around to avoid its effects entirely. As she ran back to check on Smash a transparent look of fear came on her face. She wasn't having fun any more and it didn't look like things were about to turn around in their favor either. "U-um, get up big guy. Going to need your help. Like now." Smash's only response to her request was to punch mindlessly at the air. It was obvious that at this point he was punch drunk. It would be a wonder if he could even see the blue in the sky his brain being racked with the heavy weight of those fast blows it had been taking.
  16. Smash gets another 19 which with Bruised drops to an 18. He's not having a good day failing again by 10 this time. I don't know why I wrote 7 last round when it was a 9. Bringing him down to Bruised 2 Staggered & Dazed. He's on borrowed time now let's look at that knockback after his reductions it's a 3 so he's sent flying 5 feet. Seeing as smash is a liability now, Get Away repeats the process for her Sonic Boom this time running in circles round everyone and moving as fast as she can in doing so, now a DC19 Reflex Save, and DC24 Toughness Save. Moving back next to Smash when done. Smash somehow makes the reflex save with 21 the half damage means he's impervious to it. Omen gets a 29 so he's in the clear. Free Action: Switches to his Stun Gun in his array Move Action: Taunting Get Away which is at a -5 due to the penatly an 18 opposed by Get Away's Sense Motive of 16 Standard Action: Ready that Stun Gun for when Get Away comes a charging again.
  17. Omen lucked out and just barely makes it with a 17 a little close for comfort than one would prefer for the best save but not going to say a word when Velocity did worse with a better save. Smash is off in La-La-Land so this will end the round. And on to...   18. GM Of course looking back even for a second was hardly the intelligent thing to do when dealing with Larceny, Inc. Four parts made up the whole and Get Away wasn't just about to let their muscle drop like that. Or more importantly give someone the opportunity to make it to Trap Door without providing ample time. Which was why it should have come as no surprise when moving like a blur, she ran up from the lower levels of the yacht. Causing a small sonic boom to follow in the wake of her impressive rate of speed. Cursing under her breath as both of the trouble makers seemed to avoid being blown away by the impact of her entrance. Omen had lucked out and instinctualy dived out of the way. Chances were he hadn't even see. And Velocity for her part appeared to just take it head on brushing it aside. Sad to say, it was probably the most impressive method of attack that Get Away had to offer. "I think I'm going to have to cut in" Smash for his part took the time to stare at the sky. His hands reaching out as if he was trying to catch some imaginary flying birds circling his head. To put it simply he was rocked, and stumbling about as he tried to catch recover from the blow. His brain couldn't afford missing any more cells. So the brief respite was more than welcomed from the almost 8 foot tall goliath. "Ouchies"
  19. In the amount of time it took Omen to blink, he missed what occurred right in front of him. Almost at a lost when Smash took a tremendous blow from the much smaller framed female. The way the pugilist reeled back completely out of it from the shock of the impact was all the convincing the caped vigilante needed to go along with her request. "Works for me." Omen turned around intending to ascend up the bridge and pay a visit to the captain. He looked back for a moment just to take in the sight yet again. A wide smirk forming on his face as he was pretty pleased with the impressive sight of the craggly man almost getting ready to drop that quickly.
  20. And Omen would attempt to turn around and do as requested moving up to get to the captain's deck. Only to get interrupted before doing so by the woes that is a sudden interruption of Get Away suddenly scaling the yacht a sonic boom following behind her and bringing a reflex save with it. The intensity is less than normal so only a DC17 Reflex save to avoid, and if either fail it's a DC22 Toughness Save. Not counting Evasion of course. The Boom is just low enough not to bother Smash so not even going to roll for him avoiding its effects. Omen's actions were interrupted for this round and the unexpected attack comes with a free Hero Point for Velocity and he.
  21. We are indeed. That is indeed a hit. And seeing as her strike is a +13 damaging move his impervious is ignored, Smash gets a 19 for his toughness save.   22. GM Smash was never going to deviate from his orders under any circumstances. Other than an almost child like innocence that level of loyalty was certainly his most admirable quality. Unfortunately that very same quality was not endearing him to be compliant with Velocity's request. "Nu uh. Trap Door said not to let anyone up to the drivey room. You stay. Or I beat you up but good!" He wasn't in anyway aware of the fact that he still managed to answer her in his defiant outburst. The shirtless behemoth beat his chest in a dominant display. A simplistic showing of his might to keep everyone in line. Smash probably thought he was being innovative as he gave off a very pleased with himself grin afterwards. All he really served to accomplish was buying enough time for Omen to reach the opposite end of the deck in the amount of time it took the craggly man to show off. Omen for his part wasn't making any effort to hide his presence as he rushed up to the deck. Which did nothing in helping him stay out of Smash's line of sight when he made his way up. "Hey you tricked me!" Looking back and forth between Velocity and Omen, Smash quickly came to the realization that the woman was serving as a distraction so Omen could make his way to the wheel. It wasn't a correct assumption, but he wasn't about to ask for clarification. "Now I Smash you up!"
  23. Erick was steadily putting on his costume. Even though he had far more open space to get the job done, the process wasn't anywhere near as expedient as what Megan had accomplished elsewhere. Unbeknownst to him of course. Folding up his dress clothes, Erick placed them inside the carrying case for his costume. There was a loud clicking noise as he attached his utility belt. The only part that took any real length of time was the application of his domino mask. With a single push of a button on the side of the high tech mask the reflective lenses would activate giving him the visibility to skulk in the night. In one fell swoop Omen would slide the briefcase back where it was once was and begin stepping with the. In a less than his normally jovial mood, the young man would slight snarl. Fully intending to let out his feelings for the direction the night went on the intruders.
  24. No need for the diplomacy roll. Alright let's see a 31 being as impressive as it is let's see what I can come up with. I would say that Velocity knows that Smash is a common staple on FCPD's most wanted list. A member of the four man band known as Larceny, Inc Smash is the dim-witted muscle of the group. Armed with both incredible superhuman strength and durability to accomplish that role. A former boxer, he's known to live up to his name down to the last letter with a simplistic single minded pursuit of destruction. Obviously not the brains of any operation. She's unaware of what he went through to have given him his current physical and mental state.
