Hey now the captain managed to sputter as the gryphon got a hold of him. The captain struggled against the gryphon's grip. Realizing he might get grabbed by a non-human female made him fight all that much harder. But try as he might, he could not succeed. the captain was sucked into the talony grip of the gryphon and could not do anything else. Let go of me!

pretty sure 21 still misses me even though i am not defensive attacking or anything. my standard def is 22 i believe. my turn ultimate effort that second attack. the attack roll becomes 30. the dc is 25 VP remaining x2

After seeing a combination of Matthias' lights flicker out, and then being jostled back to his senses by the steel ceiling of the arena, the captains hopes fell. But then he noticed the dent that his laser put in the ceiling of the arena. and another idea flicked through his head. technically it CAN be removed by Jim, only he has been slightly brainwashed to think he is stuck in it BY the suit. and yes it can be removed by others if jim is unconcious. i.e. hard to lose. and just a side note, the suit is called "the Beetle" but when jim is wearing it he calls himself "The Goliath Beetle"

i believe you should be bruised and stunned, no? fail a toughness save by five or more? ill wait to make my next post till you look at this. i think your stunned unless i am missing something that bumps up your roll or something. though by your math you did fail by 7... but if you are stunned then i do not get hit by or have to resist the grapple.

Here goes nuthin...The captain crouched down and leaped. Sailing through the air, he launched a series of flips and twists finally straightening up right before he sailed into the mutant in front of him. Eat Epi-Punch freak! The captain used his fist to deliver his momentum straight to the mutant's face. After he punched the gryphon, he began to fall. But the captain was not worried, falling from great heights did nothing to him. That had already been proven.

For a while it had been business as unusual. The captain had been taking some time off. for now, it was just taylor rogers spending some me time.
