okay edited the regen power. edited the physical description of the suit to fit the above discussion. removed the PF subtle from the suit. placed that point into 4 ranks of accrobatics

yea that was kinda what i was going for.... but there is no way in hell i would be able to afford the features that i want without using Device. :/ its not that im trying to exploit device with this guy... its just that i wanted a suit with certain features, and those things are pretty expensive... (aside: i statted out a PL10 version of this guy recently... 112PP were spent on the suit alone ) ill make the edit as soon as i get home. yea i could do that. i almost refuse to believe that Anthony Edward Stark is able to carry that thing around in a friggen briefcase. i think i will do backpack/briefcase, whatever is appropriate for the time. that way he can open the case up and just gaze at it from time to time. and that way the briefcase can glow like in pulp fiction. if i do this, though, does the suit still need the PF subtle?

who? yea... about that... totally could not afford that... i already spent an exorbitant amount of points on the suit for a pl6 char. im working on it though. its the first thing on my list to buy Regen3 bruise [no action] Regen6 staggered [no action] etc...(at least i think those are the ranks. basically i am looking for it to walk down the regen chart making him recover from each damage condition in succession with no action. im not at my actual computer at the moment, so its difficult for me to actually spell it out right now explicitly. I'll get right on that asap, but for now this is just so you understand what im trying to do with the char. as for not having normal identity at all... i don't know if i can shave two more points from anywhere in the rest of the char at this point. how about i just adjust the background story to say the following? instead of wearing it on his person as some sort of trinket, maybe he just keeps it on his dresser in his house/appt. that way it really is a normal identity since he would have to run home just to put his suit on?

okay i changed the power loss drawback. also edited the cost of the normal identity drawback as for your question, my bad, i don't think the answer i gave really even makes sense as far as sentences go. what i had meant to say was that as a piece of alien technology the reaver suit is far advanced. Its main purpose is basically to be super adaptive. so much so that it is constantly adapting to it's surroundings. This means that it is very good at dealing with harmful effects (other than cold). It takes in the energy that these harmful effects create, and uses that to fuel new abilities that may help it better deal with any obstacles. the part about something coming up in roleplaying that i was talking about is that i plan to further explain stuff in character.

First, for the Regen, you need to list what sort of Regen it gives you. (And you could get up to 18 ranks, since Regen is 1pp/rank and Absorptions gives 2pp per +1 damage bonus absorbed.) It won't be a "it gives whatever ranks I need at the time." Second, is the Invisibility 9 -- be aware that depending on how much damage you absorb, you'll get either invisibility vs. normal vision or vs. all vision. Third... how/why does it do all that? Some of those make senses/have precedent from comics (Black King can absorb physical impact for Super-Str, Warbird can absorb energy for Flight and Super-Str), but how/why do absorbing physical impact or energy grant invisibility or regeneration?

Oh yea man!The captain gave his iconic smile and a thumbs up. I'd say that hit adequately redeems you for your performance in that last round. The captain gave Malice a goofy smile. Man that last couple of hits hurt though. The captain rubbed his arm where the snake had bitten him. Think we can keep going?

Ugh! Kerrik slammed his fists into the wall of the alley sending cracks up the side of the wall. Those pigs are still afta me! Kerrik sighed as a feeling of helplessness came over him. They think tha jus cuz i don't want ta talk ta them, I musta done sumthin wrong! Kerrik rumbled Forget this city! I am outa here. Maybe i'll come back when things calm down a little more. After vaulting back up to the top of the sky scrapers, kerrik went bounding off through the city. Once he reached the edge of the city, he hitched a ride with a random car and was gone. The whole time Kerrik grumbled to himself about various pork products.

this character is really just a gag character. i was just seeing what i could do with the system, and i might play him later in a home game. i just wanted to share the joke with others that might get a kick out of it. Also i figured the mods could help me make him rules ready. Dr. A: if the reason you dont think this character will fit on the boards is because it is offensive even in the least, i will be happy to take him down, or make any appropriate edits post haste. more edits later

Thank god we don't have to deal with that snake in the grass anymore. the captain said referring to the now limp blue star. the captain then turned his gaze towards shard. I guess you expected that last attack to scare me. You did a pretty good job of screwing with damn near everything besides me, but, oh wait... you didn't even come close to hitting me. how sad.... The captain makes a pouty face. While it only lasts for a few seconds, it instantly becomes the cutest thing on the planet. Let me tell you what, Sliver, or whatever your name is the captain waved his hand in the air Its time to get serious. And i am gonna take you down! the captain then charges at shard and tries to lay him out with a vicious Haymaker. The attack falls short of its mark, however.

Fricken finally! The captain yelped. Moira! Hold on! The captain rose from his position laying down to stand on the crowd again. Allowing Moira to ride on his back again, he began bounding back and forth across the crowd. After he gained enough speed to make a leap onto the rock, he launched himself and moira up into the air. The two landed deftly on the rock floating above the crowds. Letting Moira down from his shoulders, he pointed at the man with the turntables... DJ Anarchy! You stole my spotlight! Now you are gonna pay! The captains arm fell to his side, he leaned over and readied himself for a fight. LETS BOOGIE!

Being as how both of my rolls sucked ass this round, i am going to ultimate effort the both of them. Result of toughness = 27 still take a bruise result of attack is 22 and it hits for a DC 28 attack. the captain now has bruise 2 and VP1

the captain does his best to fend off the snakes fangs. For a second it looks like the over-sized lizard will get the best of him, but just like that the captain resists the brunt of the attack. What the hell is with all of these tricks? Fight me yourself damnit! The captain takes a running start, leaps off the python's head, and launches himself through the air at the hovering sorceress. After bringing his mighty fist to bear, the captain lands and readies himself for any other attacks.

Hopefully not too much longer the captain groaned. I am starting to get bored here. I need action! the captain raised a hand and clenched a fist in front of him, then let it come to rest on one of Moira's legs. Just to steady her of course. The Captain tilted his head back to get a look at what was in front of him, but a combination of the liquor and the angle he was at made him dizzy, so he picked his head back up, and once again turned his gaze to the beauty on top of him. Who do you think is behind all of this? the captain asked, genuinely curious.

this kinda stinks. i probably could have thought of a few interesting things to do with master plan in this fight.
