  1. I know, and techincally it's all linked to Naruto, which in turn is linked to Satan 666 or whatever it's called in America. I've toned down my anime addiction, but the 'Epic Family Tree' is always something I liked knowing. Takahashi Married to Kishimoto, and Kishimoto's brother made Satan 666. Man, I just can't get excited over anime anymore, too many weeabos ruined it. But anyways, I'm planning another excursion into Boston this saturday to get some superhero appys, hopefully i'll get my camera in working order.
  2. Ooooooh...Nancy drew burn, that's harsh. I'm not allowed in my library, I have a gaggle of books and DVD's out that I just spaced on returned 3 or so years ago.
  3. I used to write a lot, but I got really discouraged when I started to become more cynical as I slowly realized High-school was simply a device to demoralize and strip us of humanity to prepare us for the real-world. Loss of innocence is a painful thing. I used to try and write gritty, meaningful stuff until the above realization came. Then I just wrote a lot of angry stuff that had the main character getting offed, and everyone smiling as he faded away, and then I just up and stopped. I'd like to get back into it, but aside from RPing, I just don't have the confidence. Perhaps i'll attempt to do it, I do want to be a teacher after-all, going to have to write a bit for that.
  4. I got about thirty people to come up, fill out papers asking what their powers were, villains, and a public display of their powers. I even got one guy to come back in his spiderman outfit....he was creepy. big...and creepy. but it was fun. I want to go back and do something similar for kicks another day soon. Hopefully this time my camera will work. I just need to find Kodak Batteries. And you're the second ever to actually guess my name correctly for this. Everyone tries to link it to Inuyasha or some other wonky animes. I actually usually use Razputin from Psychonauts for my avatar. love that game with a passion.
  5. Woke up to: Donald Fagen: Morph the Cat Listening to: Nine Inch Nails: The Great Destroyer I listen to a lot, 15,000+ songs on my compy.
  6. *Looks at list on desk 'Stuff to get back before school ends!* For the record, school has already ended, and I am missing... Shadow of the Colossus - PS2: Tom DnD PHB 3.5: Kyle Young Frankenstein: Kyle Bladestorm: Kyle Baseball Glove: Kyle $50.00: Kyle Blue Beetle Comics: Zack G. Pheonix Wright: Zack B. There's other smaller things, but those are the major offenders....I want my stuff back, and I can't insist since i'm slightly non confrontational, and I don't see them often enough.
  7. i've been Jittery lately, I want to RP pretty badly, and I'm kind of in 'stasis' with my PL6 character, so I need something to do. I want to come up with something that will advance my character and other characters, but I was hard pressed to come up with something interesting. Now, lacking experience with playing MnM, nevermind DMing it, this will be primarily RP based. I'm looking to see some good, fun RPing. So my quest to do this started with what scenario I wanted to do. - Did I want a super-powerful villain that would go wrecking crew until some heroes banded together? - Did I want to take out a base of henchmen and their mad master? - Did I want to do a bounty round-up of villains, or just clean up a neighborhood of villains. Either way, I wanted roughly 4-5 people in on this. Myself being one, so 3-4 people that are not me. The first idea was a tad cliche' and I wasn't all that up for it. The third idea was nice, since it fit more with the personality of my character, and remains a good possibility, tied with... The second idea. A base of Henchmen would allow or all involved to make Closed posts, so there wouldn't be many rolls, if any. It would be mainly rolled at the end, when we faced off with the boss. the only problem with this is character integration. Why would Captain Communist team up with some other heroes to take out a base of villains? The only reason I could find for the latter was that the villains were a target to the heroes, and Captain Communist wanted to take out the group to gain a name for himself. So...If your interested in either of the two ideas, let me know here with what one you like, and what character you'd want to put in it. I'm accepting neutral and good characters.
  8. Me...I'm a junior...well, I just finished school two days ago, so going to be a senior. I'm not too interesting, I like to hang out with my friends, play some Jazz and video games. The people I hang out with, including myself don't really drink or anything along those lines, though some do 'casually' (Alcoholics >.<) Ahh....I really enjoy reading and Tennis, as well as hosting monthly tournaments for Super Smash Brothers Brawl and various other games. I got into DnD about two years ago, though never really played a full game due to the lack of groups, I enjoy comics as well and collect a few series, and I just got into MnM recently. I'd like to become one of three things. Fire-fighter, Special Education Teacher, Ancient History Teacher. Ah....Oh yeah, I'm really lame. Friends say I lack self-esteem, but it's pretty evident, i'm lame. I went to Boston and held up a sign saying 'Super Hero Tryouts!' for a project on Social Situations and how people handle them. Got good results..but that shows i'm kind of lame.
  9. You can count Ivan in, He's Old Russian Royalty, so he's still somewhat in on the rich scene, though he's kind of broke still.
  10. Fringe work is all it'll be for almost everyone. Thinking further, I'd like to make it somewhere that neutrals/villains/heroes can work together, get sources, form small strike groups, and get some turf between the main guys in the South-side, while working together. It'll be a Mercenary contractor place almost, but we have our own goals to attend to as well. Make a name for yourself, gain some cash, get a small HQ/turf in the southside, with the promise of a few close allies to help protect it. I can assume a few people have read 'Identity Crisis' in DC. If you have, remember the place where all those villains hung out and brokered deals with each-other, and jut hung out, no real overlord/obligations? that's what I want this to be. A small brotherhood/business where villains can hang out, and invest in the project if they wish to. Sorry, I'm rambling. So, with any luck, I'll attempt to set something up like this in the southside, just got to go through the necessary motions and such.
  11. Captain Communist is looking to start an Organization. He has recently arrived in FC, and has been settling down, testing himself and keeping himself sharp on common street-thugs, now he wants to start taking over. He isn't particularly partial to being the direct leader, but he does want/need help to achieve power/his potential plans. He figures the people he'd meet or this group could be good, evil, nice, mean, orange, blue, or small. The plans would be to take over South Freedom city. He sees the crime in FC is horrid, and he wants to either regulate it, or completely destroy it there and make it their base of operations. They could act on self interest, apart from any leagues or brotherhoods. They'd only act when it payed well, threatened their turf, or they were bored/interested in the going ons. A few of the group could go from helping heroes beat a rogue villain, to beating up the heroes after-wards to take that rogue villains device for their own, or sell it back to him. Captain Communist's english is broken currently, and he's in the process of learning, but at best you can only get the general idea of what he's saying. So the first encounter would be hard.
  12. Sorry, just lock this, I've decided upon an idea. Thanks for your help/time.
  13. Ah, thanks. I had thought it was one PP for the original skill, and another two for the two add-ons. I'll change that, and just...I don't know, add it to Luck. Also, Can I assume I'm set to start RPing?
  14. 1. Yes, he'd know, but he'd be too afraid to tell anyone, figuring they'd think he's crazy. and the parasite talks to him, and kind of trains him. 2. Basically how it'd work would be that He regenerates in his own body, so he beats himself and the person he meshed with, then leaves and regenerates. if the person has regeneration, he'd be weak against them. 3. this one would be more or less a Villain side-kick. Younger, seemingly innocent. His main power is to take people by surprise. Either way this goes, This is going to be my co-op/Role play heavy character.
  15. Spasibo (What thank-you in Russian sounds like)
  16. So, I've been fiddling with Instant Superheroes, and I saw the Ring-Bearer. I've always been a big Green Lantern fan, actually had a toy from my childhood that remained my favorite. When I started reading comics, I found out it was one of the older Green Lanterns. Anyways...Yeah. I want a Ring-Bearer type, but with a small Twist. (Shooes away M. Night Shamylan) I want a Mystical Parasite. Either Mystical, or possibly even a robotic Parasite laid in my character to observe earth, and keep their subject alive so he can survey the earths defenses and habits. I'm not sure whether I want a Sentient race or Conqueror race. I know this sounds like the recent Secret Invasion Arc, and I only thought of that while I was typing this. Either way, that's Idea one. Idea two would be a bit like Jericho, a body switcher, only it's a physical meld. I was thinking of coupling regeneration with some kind of body meld, so my guy could meld nerves, beat the crap out of himself and the target, detach, and regenerate, while his target was left worse for wear. And my current third idea would be a Suicide duplicator. Basically he duplicates himself, and has the duplicates explode on his enemies. I'd do it so there's one main one, and if he goes down, they all do. Ideas/suggestions for characters. I have a small idea for what kind of back-story and characters I'd like to put into this situation right now, but I don't want to take if further without being decisive. Something I am not.
  17. Alright...I think/Hope it's all set up. Sorry if i'm slow. I had A lot of help from Folkert, he was awesome and stood patient with me. Anyways, Here you go, I'll hopefully try and independently make another character if/when this one gets approved...Ah, sorry, rambling, i'll leave you to do your thing.
  18. The shield is all in a flash as I imagine it. Hit, return. that such thing. Also, I'll add the translations, and add values to everything. Thanks for your time.

CC has a penchant for Patriotism towards Communism, and will often be seen refusing any signs of another countries government and radicals. In his own country, he has been known to intervene and kill a government official who was badgering the people. He is a man of facades, he wishes to gain the support of the people, but lusts for the power of an army. His ideals are still geared towards that of the people first, but he is convinced he is the only man in the world who can balance communism effectively, and erase it’s poor track record. CC is quiet, he will not start a conversation, and will not give answers that seem pointless. If someone asks what his problem is, he won’t answer, leaving them to figure out the answer that is none of their business. CC will rush head-first into battle to save his associates if they have proven themselves, plagued too often by untrustworthy people that surrounded him, he is searching to find trusting associates, Villains or Heroes, he is not subjective and does not use those terms. There are those who have wronged, and are ‘mis-led’ and there are those of fine character by his own terms. He believes his terms make the man, not a guideline on etiquette. Backstory: Ivan Petrovic sat at his cherry-oak desk, chin lifted, itching his chin lightly. It was his day today, in one hour he would suit up, call up his troops, and take over Russia. His family would be restored to it’s former glory. His Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather; Vanya Petrovic IV, would be proud of his blood-line, and their ability to recover their deserved place in Russia. Ivan looked in scorn at the book that cursed his families name upon the desk. ‘The Petrovic Rule in Russia: Tyranny At Its Finest’. He picked up the book, it’s weight a burden not only on his hand, but his soul. He threw the book across the room, and wiped his hand on his pant-leg. The filth of that books injustice had to be wiped off. He mumbled to himself, “ØÑÂтþрøѠÿþøÑÂтøýõ ýðÿøÑÂðýð ÿþñõôøтõÃȄÂüø…†(“History is truly written by conquerors…â€Â) Just then he went into a momentary deep depression. The memory of his families downfall at the hands of a greedy underling could not pass. That ba***rds family still reigned today, and they would pay for it. The Petrovic’s form of rule would be shown again, Communism, for the people. Not the capitalist infested communist pig-sty it was today. As Ivan brooded over his family history, and the man on the Russian seat of power, whose family had gone from Tsar to Dictator, a knock came at his door. “Þ òýутрø†(Come in - Actually said as 'About inside though) he said, his voice an octave lower as he tried to clear his throat and give entrance to the messenger. His assumption of a messenger was right on. It was a tall and lanky fellow, possibly no older than Ivan, who was 20 at this time. He sits up in his chair and nods to the messenger, urging him on. “Ñуôõт øü?â€Â. ("What is it?) The Messenger nods and in an enthusiastic voice replies. “ÓþÑÂÿþôøý, ÿþôóþтþòúø ÷ðúþýчõý!†(Sir, the preparations are finished!) Ivan smiles and nods to the soldier, it was time to encourage his troops. “Ã¥þрþшþ, Ѡñуôу Ѡòðüø úþрþтú úðüрðôþü! ãôðчð!†(Good, I will be with you shortly comrade!) The soldier smiles widely and stands up straight, giving a crisp salute. “Ã’Ñ‹ ûþрô Petrovic!†(Good luck, Lord Petrovic!) Ivan smiles and stands up, looking to the panel on the wall, a 3x3 row of numbers, from 1-9, he walks up to it and presses a lengthy set of numbers before it beeps affirmation and opens. He smiles as he sees his suit in all it’s beauty. The outfit itself is a Crimson red all throughout, with a Star in the middle of his Chest, and his pants are a thick material, also dark Red, His mask is a light steel that provides little defense, though is there for show, for those who know him, know of his powers. In the back of the room, past the gadgets, and where his suit had been is his prized possession. His Shield, ‘Katerina’. Katerina was the name of his late mother, a large woman, strong and durable, much like his shield. His Shield shined a perfect Gold color, and the decoration of the shield sported a Hammer and sickle overlapping within the gold, and a Dark Crimson Star in the middle, the sign of Communist Russia. He takes the shield out and weighs it. “áþòõршõýýþ…†(Perfect...) All suited up, Ivan walked out of his Office and to the plaza of his estate. There stood 2,500 soldiers all suited up for battle. He smiled and without a word, they rushed from their places and out of the complex, as Ivan, or Captain Communist, hopped from the balcony and ran into the ranks of his men, rallying them on. They were moving just as planned. As they came to the gates of the Tsars estate, two miles away form Ivans’ in the city, his men fired upon the small amount of guards at the gate, immediately demolishing them. An RPG soared over-head, taking out the gate and a portion of the wall, and his men came streaming in. Immediately, the small contingent of 200 guards in the complex took up defensive positions inside and tried to hold off the attackers. RPG’s machine gun and pistol fire peppered the building, tearing the inhabitants inside apart, as his own troops advanced and surrounded the complex. CC rushed the front door, blocking a hail of bullets and bashing one, two, three enemies with is shield, taking them down without mercy. He spun around quickly and kicked another in the face, sending him sprawling over a counter, now in the main lobby. Ivan allowed a small smile, things were going exactly as planned, now to call in the over-kill. He grabbed his phone and dialed his right hand man, one of Russia’s Five Guardians. “ï ûþüðû øх ûøýøø фрþýтð úðüрðôð, ыù тõÿõрь, üы уñью ÑÂòøýью ÑÂþòüõÑÂтýþ!†(I've broken their lines comrade! Come now and finish the fight!) Ivan listened for a second as his men pooled around him, and started swarming in, and then his heart sunk. The reply over the phone was a dark, unfortunate one. “ï þóþрчõýý Øòðý… þýþ ýõ чтþ ûõóúþ…†(I'm sorry Ivan....It is not that easy...) A loud explosion erupted through the complex, as the ceiling caved in, and his men were sent into full retreat. As the dust cleared, Ivan looked to the broken ceiling. There stood the Five Guardians, and the traitor right-hand man. “íтþ?!†(What?!) His ‘friend’ smiled and in a triumphant voice replied, “Þýþ ýðхþôøтÑÂѠýðô Øòðý…, úþтþр òы øüõõтõ ÿþтõрÑÂýýþõ.†(It's over Ivan...You've lost, give up.) Ivan snarled and yelled back at the group, “ÃÂô, úþтþр Ѡøüõю!†(The hell I am!) He then tossed his shield at them, full of rage and anger, only to have it deflected by the leading Paragon of Russia. Ivan roared again and started screaming curses at them, before he realized. He was the only one left in the building. The Five guardians loomed above him, and it had gone silent outside. He dared take a look over his shoulder, away from the quietly triumphant Five Guardians. His 2,500 soldiers or so all stood with their hands up, in complete surrender to the whole of the Russian homeland force. Ivan looked back to his enemies, the Five Guardians and raised his hands. He had been defeated, no more would be said. ------------------------------------------------------------------- CC was sent to Siberia, far away from civilized civilization, in a one man prison, in the frozen wastelands. He was given a blanket, raggedy, and smelling of urine, he was protected by 100 men, all with some form of genetic enhancements, supposedly able to handle him. He had spent two years here, ever since his failure to take over the government. They had wanted to kill him, but the people loved him too much apparently, he was exiled to Siberia to a life term in a maximum security prison. He could break out, he knew it, he just needed to find the right guard who would tell him the location of his Shield, ‘Katerina’. It was here, in the prison. A rare metal that they did not want the public or any thieve to steal, in fear it may be used again. A stupid reason, but they were scared of any Agents or possible family Ivan had. As Ivan’s breakfast came one day, he leisurely ate it, took their insults without a word, and as they all settled into eating their breakfast, lulled into security by two years of non-activity, he made it happen. He broke open the cell, two years of examining it’s weak-points. Two guards, one to his left, and one tow his right reacted. They had under-estimated Ivan. These ‘Genetically Enhanced’ soldiers were nothing more than cannon fodder of Russia’s Supers Special Forces. He dispatched both with ease and made his way towards the underground cavern, taking out straggler soldiers along the way. He was hell –bent on getting his Katerina back. As he reached the room, he kicked in the door, ignoring the double blaring alarms now. One for the room he had broken into, and one for the room he’d broken out of. He grabbed Katerina, her weight ha d not diminished, he loved her. She was his, and always would be. Taking a moment to be sentimental, he turned and tossed his shield at a rushing soldier with a crude sabre. The shield slammed into him, knocking him out cleanly and clearly. A small laugh escaped from his gut as it hit. Of the feeling of He and Katerina crushing their enemies, going towards a common goal…. What was his goal? Where would he go. He could not stay in Russia…he had to go somewhere with a new hope, somewhere where no-one knew him. He had heard of such a place. While the guards had talked over the years, they talked of daughters, and brothers they had helped send off to a large city called “Freedom Cityâ€Â. Apparently one could make a new name for him/herself there. He would head there. He scrounged a few wallets quickly, taking what he could from them and rushed from the complex, amidst the alarmed yells of surprise. The late-comers had missed him, he had already broken out, and started the cold, harsh trek to the nearest civilization in prison rags. In two months time he would arrive in Freedom City and get a small apartment, ready to survey the city, and see what type of people he could find an In with to rise to power and make money.
  20. Ah! I get it. The Alternate power really tweaked me, I didn't fully understand it. But I get it now. It's basically Blast (Ranged) or Strike (Melee) and you added the Strike to make it have it's own set of melee. I got it. Thanks again man. i feel really confident to submit this now.
  21. Wow....Thank you...Holy snap...thank you very, very much. I just have one question, sorry. Last one, I think I can promise that. It says 16 PP was used there. I got that, I see there are four areas. 4 points to the device, 4 to the shield, 4 to the blast, 4 to the alternate power Strike. 16. But, does it take extra points when you add all those things. Like, wouldn't that Mighty 6, on the blast add another six points to the PP? i'm sorry, this is just what confused me. But really, you're awesome. Thank you. I owe you.
  22. Okay, So...I think....hope...this is right. I feel bad because you're helping me so much, and I don't seem to make much headway. Again, thank you for all your time and help thus far. Players Name: Ryoga (Kyle) Power Level: 10 Characters Name: Ivan (E-vahn) Petrovich (Pet-row-vick) Alternate Identity: Captain Communist Height: 5’10’’ Weight: 172 lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Description: Ivan is ardently faithful in Communism, a form of government in his own country that was intended to even out all classes. He comes from a long line of Tsars, though his family has little power in his home-country now. From a wealthy family, he first decided to put his share of the families money into experimental procedures to create a Super-Soldier. Too long had outsider countries come in and shielded his fine nations people and government from the world. Ivan is hellbent on seeing Communism as the main form of government, and at gaining back his families prestige that was lost by his doing. He is often very quiet, though in public forums is known to preach his beliefs. He wears a suit of different alloys to protect his immaculately toned and worked body. His armor’s color scheme is a mix of Sterling Silver and dark reds. History: Ivan of the Petrovich family, a family with deep roots in the ancient times of his homeland. Still respected as a family of nobility, though with little political power. Ivan himself is rich, having taken his share of his money when he moved from home at 16, and invested it in the modern world. With the help of advisors he increased his wealth ten-fold and funded private experiments into a unique Super-Soldier program exclusively to give himself powers. At the age of only 23 he attempted a coup of his home country with his premature powers and was thwarted by various members of his own party. After a long fight, 10 of his countries strongest soldiers who had small modifications done took him down and he was sent to a Top-Security prison. During that time he preached his ideals further, of his perfect homeland, and how it should be. When his powers fully matured three years later, he made a prison break, exerting great amounts of effort to escape the top-grade security of the prison. Once free though, he took what funds he had in private accounts and fled for Land of Hope and Freedom to rebuild and see what was for the taking. He now free-lances, intending to build an army and take his homeland one day.
