Jadon watched the new's report with mild curiosity, but mostly he was looking at the different screens, A new LCD was defiantly on the list to get, and the bigger the better. Making a small note on a piece of paper on which screen he liked best, Jadon continued on. Depending on how much today's little shop was going to cost him... he ponded about picking up the latest game station to go with the new TV, after all he old was was destroyed.

I think this one's done. I know there's going to be a follow up thread, but I believe Heritage wan'ts a new thread for that.

Jadon arrived at the mall relatively early. After the bank robbery several days ago Jadon had decided having cash on hand wasn't the best idea's, and had opted to change his account over to a debit card. Now that it had all been sorted out Jadon was looking forward to a full day of shopping. He had a number of thing's he wanted to get today, ranging from a Computer, a Laptop, and various other large and expensive electrical goods, as well as the other supplies he needed for school. Putting on his designer shades, his left hand in his pocket Jadon looked around the massive mall... He had a feeling today was going to be a fun day...

OK cool, Guess JJ will have to settle for cabs and bumming rides anyone else have an opinion of question 2?

Boomer would be interested If nothing else he can alway's do the lighting . But given who he/his family is there's a good chance he's been trained to play some type of instrument. (although I haven't bought points, that can easily be corrected.) As for what instrument... erm not sure... A keyboard maybe? (Keyboards probably meld better with him playing and doing lights at the same time better than other instruments, less moving about giving him the ability to focus on both playing and his power's.) /shrug ;)

Boomer would be interested (And tie's in rather nicely with the fact he went to the bank in Back to Basic's to collect the money to go shopping for new school supplies ).

Two Questions... [1] In America specifically in the state were Freedom City is, what is the age requirement to drive? (and more specifically to drive a motorcycle ) [2] How did people want to handle the thread, We could all head over to the mall and have some action happen. (robberies, super-villain attack ext) OR we could keep this an RP thread and keep it as character development/bonding? your choice ;)

JJ blushed from the attention, As much as he loved being the center of attention showing off his power's was certainly a first for him. Listening to Eddie and his party JJ beamed, "Sounds sweet, I've go some talent in performing light show's, and with my power's it's made all the better." JJ said a grin ear to ear. Looking over to Jame's JJ shrugged, "Depends on everyone else. I won't be doing any real shopping for school supply's for a week or two, gotta wait for my next payday." JJ explained. Smiling at Alex JJ shrugged, "It's kind of hard to say... I sort of always had the powers, even when I was young when ever I was really excited or sad strange thing's would alway's happen around me, But when It wasn't until a few month's ago did my power's really flare up.... and believe me going to bed as a boy and waking up as a swarm of lights... not as much as as you'd think." Once they reached the car JJ waited for a moment, before finding himself a seat. "Nice car." JJ told James

A mischievous grin crosses JJ's face as Mark joked about exploding. Taking a step or two away from the group, "What like this?" JJ say's as he suddenly erupts in a sudden flash of light. A second later a swarm of small marble sized light's drift about looking like a swam of fireflies. "And don't worry Mike... In this form I have no head to take off, and very few physical things can hurt me." An echo voice said emanating from the swarm, the little plasmoids lighting up as he speaks. "But enough of that let's get going." JJ said as another sudden flash of light occurs and JJ is back to his normal human self. Walking past the group he wave's his hand, "Come on let's get going, the malls not going to be open forever."

:oops: sorry I forgot we post in order hear, I haven't been in combat for ages... (mind you not like he did anything that round ) But I shall endeavor to remember :geek:

Jadon stood in the office's looking out the window, There was a woman over near the counter... She looked familiar, isn't she one of my teaches at Claremont? Just than a sickening feeling washed over Jadon, forcing him to crouch down, a split second later the jet powered bulldozer came bursting in. A small piece of concrete flies through the window and into the back wall, right above Jadon's head. 'wow that was lucky...' Jadon thinks to himself as he tries to get a hold of his nerves. Jadon stay's crouched down in the office looking around nervously, He'd wanted to be a hero all his life, but a Bank robbery was rather a large starting point to a heroic carer, not to mention he couldn't change into his costume right here or else people would see him. So Jadon waits, to see what happens as he tries to overcome his nerves and think of a way to save the day without exposing himself...

Ember heads up to the kitchen and begins' to scour through the fridge. Sniffing at the steaks and the chicken Ember eventually cringer's He was hungry now and didn't nessisaraly want to eat raw meat... Heading to the front counter Ember found the phone book and started flicking through pages until he came to something he liked. Using his new skill at morphing Ember call's up and make's his order. 20 minuets later Ember, looking like Sirius picked up his order from the delivery boy and headed out back again. Jos easily heard Ember coming down into the basement. A strange flash of light also helped alert Jos of ember's arrival. Ember, Looking like a werefox again came wandering down with two large pizzas, a full liter of soft drink, a loaf garlic bread and an ice cream cake... looking over at Jos Ember shrugged, "What do you know how much energy this body goes though? I have to eat this much just to stay this size, let alone put on weight." Ember said defensively as he found an out of the way place to put the food down.

JJ half shrug's at Alex and her question. "I dunno really. I guess I watched to many new's stories on the Freedom league and so now that I have powers, and I'm at the apparently school for superheroes It just seemed kinda logical to look for a super group." JJ explained. Looking over to Mike JJ smirks, "And as per Mike's request... I'm about to do something that may result in the removal of my head." He say's jokingly before forming a large yellow Boomer in his hand. "As Eddie said this is my 'cool power' at least a small hint of it anyway." He says as he throw's the tiny ball of plasma into the air. The Boomer than exploded into a small star field of tiny sparks the size of marbles, each one a different a different color. rotating his hand slightly the star field of Boomer's span around the group before converging above them to form a tennis ball sized Boomer which than 'popped' in a shower of tecknicolored sparkles which rained down on the group harmlessly evaporating as they hit a solid surface.

Looking to mark JJ shrugged, "Bit of both, My parent's have gone overseas, and there was a slight misshape last fourth of July which resulted in a destroyed house... So rather than living there and traveling to school each day they decided boarding would be better." JJ explained.

Chuckling Ember nods, "Probably, although those kids that work at the fast food joints I bet there's is higher." Ember say's jokingly about the High cholesterol "Sweet." Ember say's a little to enthusiastically. "You want anything?" he ask's as he start's to head for the door.

"I don't eat shop keepers there almost as bad as clowns... Clowns always taste funny, and shop keeper's always look good on the outside but they just never live up to exspectation's on the inside... A bit like used cars." Ember says chattering away. As Jos got to work Ember watched on silently. He certainly understood most of the principles but he just couldn't put his paw onto what exactly Jos was doing. Shrugging as Jos said he was tired. Ember stretched... "You got any food?"

Jadon had gone the the bank early that day to collect his monthly tidbits from his trust fund. While most of the time the money was simply transfered into his account, Today he had elected to go into the bank and have some of it withdrawn instead. After only just starting at Claremont's Jadon was determined to get of to a good start. which meant he had to go shopping. New computers, new TV's new everything. He would have simply used he old stuff had it not been for that slight incident last fourth of July involving a slight miscacualtion on his part... Jadon looked around the office while the banker fussed about with the accounts. Looking at the few people inline waiting to the service desk Jadon smiled, sometime's it was handing having the surname Grove.

Boomer would be up for it, He could be at the bank draining more of his trust fund (after all he's just started at Claremont, he has to have the best stuff for lessens, dorm's ext )

"Sounds like a plan!" JJ says, "Lead the way." As the group wanted through the tour JJ asks's a few question's here and a few question's there, mostly relating to school schedules, curfew, when the cafeteria was open and the like. "Well I guess that's everything other than the Dormitories." JJ says, "You got a big enough car?" he ask's James, "That is if you all want to go to the mall or something?"

Putting everything down where he was told to, ember shrugs. "I can let them know when your ready." He says as he move's out of the way. Chuckling softly as Jos ask's about the full moon, "Well I do get a rash down...." He begin's quite seriously before he starts laughing, "No, I'm not affected by the moon." He says as he finds a seat on a crate.

Either way. Personally I'd probably be more inclined to go with the Subtle version. Sure it take's longer, but it's always better to make the person your tracking not know your tracking them So at which point to save time... Will Notice she must be busy with other things :P
