"Nice to meet you both." JJ said, extending a hand to Alex. "Name's Jadon, but you can call me JJ." he said, so far avoiding his last name with everyone he's met. "I think we were thinking of heading to the bayview mall after we've finished the tour and checked out my new room." JJ explained, "I don't know if you guy's wanted to come? you could tell me all about this 'Young Freedom.' thing you've got going on." JJ said with a smile on his face.

'oh now he remembers me...' Ember thought to himself and he began lugging the stuff into the kitchen. "Master went home, master warn of Red bird, muster probably be working with Lady vulpes on trap." Ember explained, trying to sound like a minion.

Spinning around on the spot Jadon extends a hand, "Nice to meet you, I'm Jadon though most people just call me JJ." Jadon explains.

Even though Jos wasn't in the room Ember shrugged, "Probably a few days depending on how they set the wards up, the location and that sort of thing." Ember says, "But I don't really know, Magic isn't really my thing." Ember continues as he finishes getting the last of the item's Jos wanted. "You want these in here or in there?" He asks.

I'd allow it, It's a valid complication, and makes Jos life difficult with ember around the place ;)

Ember simply nodded and went about the store collecting everything Jos had pointed out. Why his mother had chosen him to remain behind was a mystery, after all the 'red bird' was after him it seemed.

Gwen thought about it for a further few seconds, not detecting any misinformation on Jos part, Gwen flicked her hand and the solder's began to leave. One of the women apparently managed to unlock the door, though Jos wasn't about to see how. Although he did notice that as the Armored men left there suit's of armor appeared to turn into normal clothing. They waited outside as the other's finished there business. "Very well, But Ember will remain with you." She said "He can stay out of sight and out of your way. But he will go with you... that is not negotiable." "We will begin setting up a trap, Ember will let you know where, when and how once it is established." Gwen explained before turning and heading for the door, accompanied by the other woman and armored man. "Good day Mr Terhune."

Gwen stood there thinking for a moment before finally nodding her head. "All right Mr. Terhune, I will give you one shot... Do not fail us." She say's. In the background ember has a smug look on his face, while the woman next to him seem's disgusted at the decision. The armored man however remain's unreadable, encased in the suit of armor few visual emotion's escape it's protective barrier. "So, then, where would you begin?" Gwen asks.

"This is a privet matter, we can track her ourselves." Gwen say's The look of impressment gone from her face. "We could use his help." Ember speaks up behind Gwen. "We don't need his help." The woman next to ember states, her attitude towards Jos was nothing but contempt. "Not to mention a civilian would cause more risk to security my lady." The Armored man on Ember's other side spoke up. "Just because he's not a member doesn't mean we should dismiss him." Ember pleaded. "Sirius has worked with him for quite some time now, he has skills." Ember say's in Jos defense. Gwen shock her head, "Allright Mr. Terhune, why should we let you come along?" she asked.

Jadon just nodded, "Cool, should we wait her or continue our little tour?" He asked

Gwen tilted he head slightly as she saw the feather. She looked almost impressed, which Jos got the feeling was quite an accumplishment. "Good work Mr. Terhune, Now give me the feather." She said extending her hand, the tone of her voice indicated that it was not a request...

Knowledge check: In that case he can probably tell It's a phoenix feather. I mean mythology is basically just a simple version of Arcane law . Family Arrival: Ah but your forgetting, Sirius was out back. He would have heard the woman's words and would have been forced into his Fox form. (hence the noise from out back) while you were attempting to ..... anyway Sirius escaped home. Thus warning the family. As for the Nullify well It's basically a Dimensional Teleport. (Teleport 9 (any ware in the world) PF: Dimensional 1 (Fox grove - FC universe). I'm not sure the DC on that? But it would have the added bonus of having an Anchor in the shop (the little device that makes the items.) So I'm not sure if that would change anything? And you could probably say they took 10 or something... don't want to be Teleporting inside a shelf :shock: But I'm not sure how that would affect rolls? DC's... if anyway?

JJ shrug's at Jame's question, "Most of the clubs are closed, at least the one's I can get into, We could go to the Bayview mall?" JJ suggests.

JJ nodded as they waited for Mike to contact Alex. Looking over to Eddie "That's cool, It wouldn't be a 'secret' identity if you go around blurting it to everyone." JJ said with a smile, looking over to James "Yeah, that sounds like fun, maybe after we finish with the tour, we can go out some place... My treat." JJ said his smile getting bigger again.

As Jos walked to the desk a sudden 'whooshing' sound could be heard. All around the shop pillars of flames erupted In the center of the shop the largest of the pillar's appeared, but unlike the other's Jos could clearly see a large Fox head swirling within the flames. As sudden as they had appeared the flames were gone Leaving men and women in there stead. All of the men appeared dressed in a suit of medieval armor, there swords and shields raised in defense. There armor and weapons had symbols etched along them. Each symbol glowing a faint red. The Women on the other hand were dressed in robe's of silk and satin. while the men's weapon's and armor glowed with magic, the women simply glowed with there own internal power. Some could be seen to have fain electrical sparks zapping over there skin and clothing, while other's a mystical breeze fluffed there hair and clothing. Each woman radiating a different elemental power. In the center however were four individuals. The most obvious one was the were-fox Ember. Hutched down on three paws, he Looked around as he sniffed the air, flames lapping at his lips. The other of most noticeable of the central group was surprisingly Gwen Vulpes, Sirius's mother. Although she still looked old, there was now a visible fountain of power about the woman, as if the very forces of nature were at her every command. There was another woman with them, one Jos didn't recognize from there previous meeting, She was highly attractive, and a rather odd contrast compared to Gwen. This woman however had a deathly serious look to her, All the element's seemed to dance about her skin, lightning could be seen within her eyes. The last of the core group Jos also didn't recognize. He was too big to be Sirius or William and his armor obscured his face. Ancient runes lined his armor, shield and weapons, they glowed with a ferocity of metal freshly pulled from the forge. Gwen stepped forward from the group, "Were is she!"

:idea: He has a long golden red feather left over. It's about 3foot long, (would make an awesome quill) Is probably one of the most beautiful feathers Jos has ever seen. If he has any magic sensors it would radiate a minor natural magical aura. I'd say to get any information on what kind of feather it is, It would require a Knowledge check DC20 in mythology, for the obscurity of information regarding a phoenix feather. (not life science seeing as a phoenix doesn't officially exist.) :!: Although a small real world tid-bit. There are story's dating back to the first contact the west had with China of a rare bird that lived in the forests that had beautiful golden red feathers, some of which were as long a peacock feathers that would sing a hunting song deep in the forests. They were however eventually supposedly wiped out for there feathers, and something else which was suppose to have mystical healing powers. (hence the legend of phoenix tears healing all wounds.) the Legend also goes that the bird seemed to secrete a kind of oil when it died, and when this oil came into contact with a certain substance (a type of grass/leaf that grew in the area) it would catch on flames, thus incinerating the bird and the nest. That would than incubate the small egg that was in the nest and so than after a little while a baby hatching would emerge from the ashes... thus you have the legend of them being immortal, and born in fire. Pretty cool huh? of cause that's only a legend, But it's more inline with what the Phoenix if it ever existed was most likely, rather than some mythical immortal bird.

Jadon shrugged, "I guess I like doing what every other fifteen year old likes doing, Video games, sports, explosions, the usual." JJ said with a grin as he forms a boomer in his hand and begins to toss it up and down like a softball. JJ shrugged again in regard to the super-group thing, "Who's Mark and Alex?" JJ asks, "I suppose I'll meet them soon enough, I don't really mind either way It's just cool to be able to share my powers freely without having to worry about secrets and whatnot."

Shock horror... Another will save :shock: DC 20, This time a Mental Transformation effect to erase Jos memory of her ever being there.

"See now, that wasn't so difficult." she says as she stops humming. Smiling slightly at his renewed advance she shakes her head, "I don't date younger men." She says before suddenly bursting into flames. As the flames settled a large flame gold bird hovered in the air, It's feather's covered in flames, it's tail long and beautiful. The birds eye's appeared as pools of molten gold, it's red and golden head crest augmenting the birds beauty. The bird looked Jos in the eyes... "Thank you for your help, now forget..." and with that a blinding white light erupted and the bird was gone...

Sirius found himself in the dream world yet again, this time however he was no longer in the cave as he was in his last dream. Now he was in a city, a very old city, Chinese he thought. The Fox suddenly dashed passed Sirius, dragging him along with some mystical force as before. The people in the streets all seemed to see the fox and quickly got out of it’s way, as if they worshiped, or perhaps respected the creature. A loud screech echoed from behind, Turning to look Sirius saw the large flaming bird flying overhead. Flames trailing of its golden red feathers. It shrieked again causing the people in the street to fall to the ground in agony. The Fox suddenly leaped up onto a roof of a nearby building, Sirius noticed the small pearl dragon hanging around the fox’s neck. It ran with incredible speed, leaping from one rooftop to the next. Despite this the Phoenix continued to advance. The Fox Skidded to a halt, sliding around until it faced the raging bird. Flames licked at the foxes lips, than with a powerful yelp it shot a fireball out of it’s mouth at the flaming bird…

Well depending on how the refs feel about it, I'd be willing to do some Free Rp. That is to say create an NPC for the shadow academy and play him there, without the standard rewards for being a PC. It would at least flesh out the class a little, and I could make him a full PC once I have a free lot. But it's up to the refs, It's just an Idea ;)

yeah I'd allow that since as you say, she didn't narrow down the parameter's of which fox she was talking about. You could probably even get away with it without a second save for the point of view that 1; Jos is conscious, 2: She didn't specify Sirius, 3: The Terrible Trio Fox could easily be considered 'the fox.' since she didn't say "tell me what you know about the fox Spirit " there for you could argue that she could be talking about any fox or person who goes by the name of Fox. technically ;)

Jadon nods in greeting as James wander's up. "Same old same old. Like Admission officer's most schools seem to be relatively the same. Except the addition of the dorms." JJ said with a faint smile As Mike talked more about the un-official super-group JJ just nodded and smiled, "Cool, Good a name as any." he said "If there's nothing against it. I wouldn't mind putting in an application to join." JJ said beaming. JJ beamed, "Show off." he said jokingly "It must cool to fly hole." JJ said cryptically.
