"Yeah I can do this." Sirius says, "You haven't even begun to see what I'm capable off." Sirius said with a smirk as he held out the explosive's for the captain to hold. "Hold these for a moment please." "Now remember what I said... I'm not a mutant, these powers are Magical in nature and I worked very, very long and painful years to be able to do this... My point... don't shoot me." Sirius says as he casually take's a few steps away. Once Sirius was a good way away from both the Captain and the possibility of the drug place seeing any light, Sirius began... Although it wasn't required, Sirius felt the need to embellish and highlight the magical and hard work of his ability. He created a circle around him of fiery runes that hovered in the air. He began to speak arcane words which brightened the rune's before suddenly the rune's erupted in a tower or flames... Bone's could be easily be heard braking, although the flames hid what was happening the sound's that could be heard were enough to get most grown men to hurl. Finally the sound stopped and the Captain noticed a large animal head appear in the flames, a head of a fox... The flame's suddenly imploded as they were sucked into the figure that remained, A bipedal humanoid fox was left standing were Sirius stood panting. "As I said, Long and painful study and training." Ember growled. He knew it was a risk letting the captain see the transformation, especially with the captain's reputation. But If they were to work together it was important that they had an understanding... and trust.

JJ positively Beamed, "Sweet, you won't regret it." JJ said as he followed along. "Hey Eddie, who is the other player? I don't think I've met them yet?" JJ suddenly asks. Not waiting for an answer JJ began shake slightly with excitement "This is going to be so COOL!" he suddenly burst, A small explosion of rainbow colored light erupted all around him which made him suddenly stop and look all embarrassed... "hehe...heh..." He suddenly mumbled as he followed along... "Okay... don't get to excited... I loose control of my power's apparently...." he said more to himself than the others.

Ember Paw For the time being I'd like to increase Ember's Morph ability up to His super-sensor's were slightly off power/pp wise (but the total PP was still correct) It shot be That should leave him with 3pp left unspent for now. Thanks DONE BY SHÆNTHEBRAIN

While not wanting to steel Eddie's spotlight JJ couldn't help but respond, "We'll then why not? By what I've been told your good, we can all be ourselves around each other, and It's all about having fun. I cant see the future, very few people can, but when your seventy do you want to look back and think to your self, 'why didn't I join.'" JJ said with all seriousness in his voice.

Sirius give's a smirk, "Oh I've got the Cajones." Sirius replied, "I can be In and out and no one would be the wiser." Sirius added. "I could even plant an explosives or too depending on how... violent you want this to get..."

"Nice to meet you all." Sirius says taking the napkin and giving a nod to each of the others as they were introduced. "I'm willing to help out were ever I'm needed. Of cause I must also uphold my reputation as being a store clerk, as well as having some other activity's I must attend to, I am available most of the time." Sirius says "I'm better at operating at night, but I can also do daytime as needed." Sirius adds. "My card has my number if you want to reach me. You can call any time." Sirius say's indicating to the card he had given the Captain when they had first met.

Sirius sighed. "That's another problem... as much as I'm a spook... So is she." He said with a sigh. "Nether of us would deliberately make ourselves a target, so luring her into a trap doesn't work since we both realize it's a trap." "So for now we play a game of cat and mouse, as we both marshal our forcer for the battle we all know is coming." Sirius says, "So for now I will work with you, and we'll consider my side of the deal on a 'I'll call you when I need you' basis.... deal?" Sirius asks.

"Sirius is fine." Sirius say's nodding to the waitress, "That would depend on you Captain. I can offer you my services, as thief, scout, informant, anything that involves stealth and sub diffuse. All I ask for in return is man power..." Sirius explained. "Let us just say that there is a woman... Like your mutant's she has power she does not deserve. For the past several month's she has been tracking me, she believe's -wrongly- that I have something of hers. As it stands I cannot hope to take her, she is far more powerful than I at this time... But with some help..." Sirius gave a sly smile as he let the captain catch his drift.

"Right..Right..right..." Ember repeated... "err... you got a car or something? I can get there quickly by myself, but I wouldn't be able to carry you." Ember suddenly states. "That is unless your really some powerful demon or something who can fly." Ember Jokes.

Boomers next move's will be to fly over to Gossimer (since he's seen her at claremont and this is his first hero job) He'll also try and help out to start with by using his environmental control 4 (distraction dc 15, 50ft radius, Selective) on the goons. So the only roll's needed atm is the from the goon's for the distraction

"I see." Sirius murmurs, "Well, I can assure you magic is not some mutation. Unlike a mutation were abilities come as simple as a person breath's, magic is far more difficult. It take's year's just to lean, and even longer to master." Sirius says. "But this is beside the point, I am no master mage, Nor am I a mutant. All I will say is I have been training and and learning for a very long time." Sirius say's keeping his awareness of the surrounding's sharp.

No point in rolling, even on a 20 he'd still fail (Max sense motive roll is 22)

Ember looked around stunned for a moment before speaking, "I'll go check." he said dashing up the stairs as quick as he could.... A few seconds later he was back with some frozen peas. "No Ice cream, but peas." He say's as he hands them to Jos. "Maybe we should go to the park or something, maybe my sensor's might pick up something? I can protect you if anything bad happens." Ember say's still eying the dent Jos made.

Sirius chuckles as he takes a seat. "You'd be amazed at how much people can surprised you if it mean's saving there own neck." Sirius commented, "But anyway, I heard you were you were looking to put something together... I could be of assistance... for the right price." Sirius said cryptically. "And I don't mean money. Let's just say for now, I have enemies, the harder it is for them to find me the better." He adds. "Now don't get me wrong, I know all about how you dislike mutants. but how do you feel about magic?" Sirius ask's sceptically.

Sirius walked into the bar, looking somewhat out of place. He'd never done anything like this before, especially behind his mother's back. But in his opinion the grove was taking to long and with the arrival of this 'red bird' figure, Sirius feared time was running out. He'd heard that 'The captain.' had been sighted here in the fens, and although Sirius didn't like the man's style he could prove an asset to furthering Sirius's own goals. Sirius quickly spotted the so-called Captain as he called for more drinks. Signing Sirius shook his head, the man knew nothing about stealth. Sirius took a deep breath to work up his courage and made his way over to the captain. "Captain... I believe you have something to learn about being incognito." Sirius say's even more braver than he'd intended. Not waiting for a reply Sirius extends a card. "Sirius Vulpes, For all active purposes simple shop assistant for an antique store in riverside... Unofficially... well let's just say I have a good habit of getting thing's people don't want gotten." Sirius say's with a fain smirk. "I believe we can be of mutual assistance to each other."

"Yeah come on, you know it's going to be loads of fun." JJ piped in. "Not to mention the girl's always like a rock star." JJ added with a grin.

Ember nodded before producing a small rusted old key. Holding it tightly Ember closed his eyes for a moment. Several seconds later he opened them again. "Mu...Miss Gwen would like us to follow her, The trip is almost set but she need's to know were that tree...portal...thingy goes." Ember replied.

JJ followed Eddie silently, giving a nod to Jame's in greeting but otherwise didn't say anything. The Band leadership, organization thing was Eddie's gig so JJ let Eddie deal with it.

"Finally!" Ember mumble's getting up. A small mountain of empty Pizza box's and soft drink littered around the area he'd been lounging at for the past few days. ========================================================= The Mirror shimmers for a moment, as the arcane energies work there mystical paths... Finally the Mirror focused in on a single red speck. At first it was two small to make out, but it quickly got larger and larger. Finally Jos could make out the image. It was a large reddish golden bird flying through the sky, A long tail flowed out from behind it. The Bird suddenly began to descend, Jos spied the landscape as the bird came in for a landing. It was some were in Liberty park. As the Bird landed in a secluded area there was a flash of fire around it. As the flame's settled the bird was gone and in replace the woman remained that Jos had talked to remained. She walked up to a huge old tree, It was at least the width of five grown men. Walking up to the tree the woman touched it with a single finger, flames spread from were she touched beneath the bark, before the tree itself opened at her command. The woman than stepped into the belly of the old oak tree and vanished from view as the tree closed itself...

"Cool thanks." Jadon say's as he begin's to glow brighter before a quick flash of light and all that remained of him was a swarm of glowing lights. The swarm quickly adjusted itself to the zero-gravity. "This is so cool! It's a pity you all can't see everything at the same time, you wouldn't think it, but it's even more amazing." JJ's disjointed voice.

The fireball shot through the air, hitting the phoenix and knocking in to the ground. The fox turned again and began to run as the giant bird got back up and resumed its hell fury flight. The world around Sirius suddenly shifted time seemed to speed up. The building’s around him changed the sky rotated it’s cycle ever faster and faster until suddenly it stopped. Looking around the new surrounding’s something was different, they weren’t in china anymore. If Sirius were any judge of architecture he would guess they were now in Japan. What century he wasn’t sure but it certainly wasn’t modern Japan. Spying the fox again Sirius was taken aback slightly at the Fox’s appearance. Although he didn’t know how much time had past since the brief battle with the phoenix, the fox now appeared slightly larger and its large bushy tail had split into two distinct tails. The Fox was looking up into the sky; Sirius followed the Fox’s gaze to see the phoenix diving down, the moon silhouetting its fiery rage. Flames began to leap from the fox’s fur in anticipation. The Phoenix let loss a torrent of fire at the fox, the flames dancing around the fox flared brighter as they deflected the fiery assault. Leaping up into the sky, the fox jumped near sixty feet from a sitting position as far as Sirius could tell. A large storm of flames erupted around the fox, engulfing it in a ball of fire, before it fired it off at the bird. The Phoenix easily deflected the attack this time and countered with a blast on it’s own. The fox dodged the attacked and was about to retaliate when it noticed the surrounding area. The buildings around the two mythical creatures were on fire. People were running in all directions. The Fox looked up to the Phoenix and yelped something, but the phoenix simply retaliated with another blast of fire, which incinerated another house. The Fox quickly turned an ran, slowing only to make sure the phoenix was following it…

JJ was quite excited, Sure he could fly pretty fast when he was nothing but coherent ball's of light, but physical sensation was non-existent. Being able to feel yourself flying was another matter all together. What really got JJ however was the view, it was breathtaking. "Ah sir, Mind you if I go Boomer?" JJ asked, "I promise I wont leave the bubble, It's just while I'm a swarm of light's I can see ever ware at once." JJ quickly added as he floated around. In all honesty he wasn't sure he particularity liked Zero-gravity It made him feel nauseous and out of control, at least in his Boomer form he could stabilize himself.

"That we are." JJ said enthusiastically as he followed Eddie out.
