  1. Ok my attack missed. Next is Madame Zero (cause someone *poke* didn't get on scene).
  2. Ok Breakdown you get hit with both attacks DC 25. Darkstar I'm not sure. The last guy rolled a 16 total, so I think that does hit you cause your DEF is 16. If that is how the rules work then DC 25 Damage for you.
  3. The four armored figures flew towards the trio, but slammed into the massive sound wave. As the heroes watched the sheets of ice on their armor shattered, revealing themselves to be late added decorations. Underneath the Armor was shiny and metallic, with black tights between the polished metallic pieces. On each of their chests was engraved numbers one through four. Number three in particular Breakdown got a good look at as he seemed to absorb the brunt of the attack. He yelled as he grabbed his, sparks shot out of his armor as something popped and hissed as he fell to the ground. Madame Zero erected a dome of ice around her, in that brief second, it shattered too but she was unharmed. "Damn #3!", the armored villains shouted. "Your gonna pay for that!" In what seemed to be a well practiced maneuver #1 and #2 circled around Breakdown, their wrists crackled with energy that they discharged at Breakdown. Seeking to prevent others from interfering #4 positioned himself between them and the other heroes. He fired his wrist blasters at Darkstar.
  4. Ok initiatives Breakdown Power Corps 1 Power Corps 2 Power Corps 3 Power Corps 4 All-Star Razorwing (when he arrives he has to wait out the round cause he isn't on scene) Madame Zero Darkstar Ok quote Number 3 is stunned and Staggered, the rest make their saves.
  5. 1d20+1=8 url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2281515/]1d20+5=15, 1d20+5=8, 1d20+5=23, 1d20+5=9 Ok since I have so many NPCs I'm going to have the power corps all go in one turn and use the highest which is 23 which has them all going first. Or at least it does until quote rolls.
  6. Initiatives everyone! 1d20+9=19
  7. "Snowcone?", she asked. "Well at least I wont be killing the the Freedom city brain trust." She seemed annoyed to find even more heroes appearing. "Seems we are having an unseasonable flurry of heroes." She raised her wrist to her face and spoke into it as she pressed a button. "Ha," she laughed at Darkstar's request. "I like the place better this way." "Sorry boys I don't have time to play with you today. Boys!" As she shouted four figures shot out of the hole in the wall. Their armor gleamed and was covered in sharp looking icicles, but fire streamed from their rocket boots as they sped out of the building. "We have this under control. Three meta-human targets marked, engaging fire protocols. You chumps should have stayed home to polish your tights!"
  8. "Fat chance," All-Star snorted. He felt almost giddy with excitement; his first villain. "I don't know who you are or where you came from, but you better put that back where you got it, and fix these people before I turn you into a snow cone." All-Star hoped some news crews would come by and start filming, he might be able to catch himself on the news tonight.
  9. Ok all parties accounted for.
  10. alright got everyone I can handle.
  11. All-Star turned his head and looked at the strange being that hovered near him. Whoa! That is freaky. Then he thought of the radioactive Hiroshima Shadow and drifted a little further away. "Who are you?" *snap* Suddenly the wall of the building the two heroes were facing, split wide open, like a sheet of ice smashed down the middle. A wave of frozen mist wafted up as a a strange wave of ice spilled out through the gaping hole in the wall. On the wave stood a figure that you could see was a woman. She wore snow white body armor, and her face was hidden be hind a crystal blue visor. It the hair that came out the back of the suit's helmet was composed of spikes of blue ice. Riding the wave next to her was a massive chunk of ice almost he size of a small car, inside the ice a was strange machine, whose purpose you could not identify. She looked up at the two flying heros. "Oh my," she seemed surprised. "I hadn't expected heroes so soon. I don't suppose you are goign to let me go." She asked sweetly.
  12. Ok making a little throw down brawl to test out my new character and I'm opening it up to more people. Right now I got Darkstar So I can take about two more people. Thsi is going to be a combat heavy thread with some, chance to save civilians, so I would prefer PL 10s. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=2694
  13. Its amazing how far sound travels on the wind; snatches of conversation here, rough laughter there, and when you can here a fly fart from nearly a mile off, filtering out noise becomes more important. It was trick All-Star had been trying to get down ever since he had gotten his powers. It had been funny pretty fun the first couple of... minutes. After that i had gotten old fast, and he started to get an idea what a schizo went through all the time. But it still proved useful, like how at this moment it allowed him to hear a police radio, report on a disturbance in Hanover. With a thunderous boom the young hero took off. It didn't take him long to find the strange scene. "What is this?" he asked to the air, as the silent citizens stood frozen. Then he heard a noise a boy who grew up in an arid desert probably never heard. The sound of Ice breaking.
  14. Ok this is a quick battle thread, or not so quick depending on how many people wanna join. Nothing fanacy here.
  15. Date: October 10, 2009 As summer winds down and falls swings into high, the residents of Freedom begin to put to put on shirts that are a little thicker, pants that are a little warmer, maybe even a coat or two but no one goes overboard; it isn't winter yet. Unless you are in Hanover, where the temperature seems to have dropped an alarming degree. In front of one of the many technological offices in the area, the people seemed to have stopped moving all together, still as a lake in winter. They are frozen in strange panicked flight, one frozen man clutches a an icy brief case before his face, a frost covered car sits in the middle of the road, door open,it female driver halfway out, a frozen scream on her lips. And before the door stands a police officer, icicles dangling from the his gun, a long tendril of ice exits the barrel, to bullet suspended in the air. A crackle of radio static, it comes from the frosted walkie-talkie at the cop's hip. "*shhhhhh* Davis?..*shhhh* Davis do you copy. *shhhh* all Hanover units be advised Possible disturbance on Lanover and Main. *shhhh* Officer Davis not responding over *shhhhhh*.
  16. Ronin will be a teir 2 npc (look for update later).

  18. Players Name: Warmonger Power Level: 11 (164/166) Trade-Offs: [ -2 Attack for +2 Damage, -2 Defense for +2 Toughness] Unspent PP: 2pp Characters Name: All-Star Alternate Identity: Marcus Hines Height: 6'3 Weight: 235 Hair: Brown Eyes: Green Description History: Marcus Hines is someone you should be watching on Sunday. He was the nation's most promising young Linebacker coming out of high school in Nevada, an accomplishment that was lost on his intellectual parents; both of whom worked for a branch of ASTRO-labs. They tried to be supportive of their son but hoped his fascination with such a violent pastime would go away. So they weren't sure how to react when their son received full scholarship to play at Freedom City university. Marcus was glad to get away from home, out of the desert, and to go to freedom city had always been a dream of his. He was amazed to be in a city filled with heroes, but he forgot that with heroes come villains. On his way to practice, he came across a titanic battle between the Hero Daedalus and the Hiroshima Shadow. During the battle Daedalus blasted the Shadow with a strange ray, which dispelled the waves of radioactive energy, from the villain, leaving behind a small naked man. Marcus might have been sacred of a radioactive elemental but, he wasn't frightened by one naked man. Marcus rushed the man and tackled him to the ground. Daedalus barley had to to shout : "No! Its only tempo-" before Shadow re-ignited blasting Marcus with a beam of concentrated Radiation. Though the League showed up to take down the Shadow, Marcus was barely hanging on to life. He was rushed to an intensive care facility and his parents were flown in. He had suffered numerous fourth degree radiation burns and was delirious with radiation sickness. The Doctors told them that Marcus would be dead by the morning. Fortunately for them the ever resourceful Daedalus had an idea. He went to the League HQ and returned with a vial of blood. The blood was that of the villainous Praetor. He theorized that Praetor, Centurion and others like them who had been inundated with Terminus energies, absorbed and stored ambient cosmic radiation, and converted it into the energy that fueled their powers. He believed that if Marcus was injected with the blood, the radiation that was now killing him would instead be used to heal his body. His parents didn't care as long as it had a chance to help their son. So that night he was injected with the blood, of the one of the league's most powerful enemies. As Daedalus predicted the process worked, and Marcus's body began to heal at an incredible rate. What would have taken years of painful and expensive correctional surgeries happened in a few days, and a week after he had been admitted, as little more than corpse with a timer, he walked out. Marcus never felt as good as he did. It wasn't just that he avoided death, he felt even better than before. It was when he was jogging and suddenly found himself flying through the air, that he realize that he had gained powers. He didn't understand the whole process, but knew somehow that the Praetor's blood had taken over somehow, turning his body into one just like his and Centurion's. Though it cost him his scholarship, Marcus informed the faculty of his new Status, they took it well. His parents didn't but he had made up his mind and had no intention of backing out. He would make a name for himself in Freedom. Personality & Motivation: What Marcus wants is to make a big name for himself as a hero. Due to his overconfidence he is often lead getting in over his head. Marcus has spent much of his life being told what to do. First by his couch, then his sergeants, then the scientists. Now there is no one telling him what to do so he is left to his own impulses. He is pretty confidant in his strength and never hesitates to use force, though doesn't try to harm people. He means well but he needs someone to steer him away form trouble. Marcus doesn't wear a makes to conceal his face because, he thinks of himself primarily as All-Star. Only occasionally will he attempt to hide his appearance so he can walk around Freedom unmolested. Powers & Tactics: Marcus is a doer not a thinker. His first instinct when facing a problem is to use force, and his second instinct is to use more. He is a brawler and tends to dive into situations head first. He prefers to use his fists, but if the situation warrants it he also uses his plasma vision. Complications: Marcus is easily riled up and loses his temper more often than he should. He can also be quite petulant when upset. A well placed challenge to his machismo can incite the young hero to fight. Ally: Though it was Daedalus who saved his life, it was with the Freedom League's leader Captain Thunder with whom All-Star has bonded. Being another big jock Thunder understands Marcus's temperament, and Marcus looks up to the elder hero. All-Star has a deep respect for Thunder and would believe anything he told him. Rival: All-Star has a rivalry with Thunder's son Bolt. The two rarely miss a chance to upstage each other. Though in his heart All-Star sees Bolt as a younger brother. Enemy: Marcus knows that Hiroshima Shadow is still at large. If there is anything that still frightens Marcus, it is the walking radiation elemental. Public Id: Marcus hasn't made any attempts to hide his identity, because he has given up the normal life. While he does occasionally go around town as a regular, this is just a cover. Meaning Not isn't to figure out who All-Star is if someone did a serious background check. 19. Ronin The Trial of Captain Kneival Go for Broken Teacher's Meeting
  20. Can I get those edits? Analytical added to Ronin's super senses and the Master plan, Benifit:Masterful Tactics feats. Done by Sandman XI
  21. Ronin blinked, somewhat surprised by the seeming emotion in both men's speech, particularly the Captain. Was he just grandstanding again? Train the next generation? For what? Ronin frowned. He already had a disciple. Though there was the possibility of another, someone with similar potential. "Heros, Villains" Ronin said with a shrug. "I don't care a bout any of that. And I don't care a whit about the future generation." He gave his chair a small spin, until he turned back to face the others. "I just wanna get paid. I'll train your little brats all you want, so long as you can afford me. I never go back on a contract so you don't have to worry about my loyalty."His voice dropped, low and cold. "As long as I don't have to worry about yours." If his sources were right he had an idea who was the real master of this school, a being who breathed treachery.
