  1. The Kitchen: In Freedom City there is always a need for things to be done that the authorities don’t have the guts to do, or because the heroes are too moral. For the dirty jobs people call up the Kitchen. This place is a hangout spot for mercenaries and contract killers. It has been cleaned out or raided numerous times by heroes and the authorities but they simply pack up and move to another part of the city. If someone is looking for quick work, and a little mayhem they can find it here. Mary: A hard bitten, alcoholic, chain smoking old lady Mary runs the kitchen. She hands out the assignments and handles all requests. In her youth she was the infamous Bloody Mary a woman known for getting the job done in the most destructive manner she could. Her legendary temper has died down but knuckleheaded mercs can expect to have her two hulking sons, Chad and Hughes, teach them some manners. Massacre: No one really knows anything about Massacre, because he never talks. Nor has anyone seen the face contained behind the iron grey battle suit. Or the red eye visor. Massacre gets the jobs from only the most ruthless and bloodthirsty clients and he never disappoints. Nemesis: She claims to be the goddess of Vengeance reincarnated, most people say she’s actually Ashley Goldsmith an escaped mental patient. Of course they don’t say it too loud, because like her name sake she never forgets even the smallest insult. And her magical bow and arrow don’t ever seem to miss. The Coles: Major Benjamin Cole is a retired Marine Corps Sgt who believes that China and Russia are only weeks away from invading the U.S. He has believed that for five years. The only thing crazier than that is that his wife belvies him. The two of them constantly receive shipments of guns and weapons which they are willing to sell for relatively cheap. Their son George seems to be a technological prodigy which is too bad because his father keeps him out of school so he’ll be safe when the bomb drops. Comes in handy for Ronin for when he needs his gear worked on. Bella Dona: Publically Isabella Medici is the Ceo of Rinata Holding. a small pharmaceuticals company out of Italy. She is a descendant or Lorenzo Medici and she is quite proud of the fact. She is something of a debutante and is After leaving the Iron Sons Ronin Decided to Travel to Sicily. The Ricci Family was engaged in a vicious war with the Medici’s for control of southern Italy. Ronin wanted in on the action. Franco Medici engaged in silent though deadly war with is rival Marco Ricci. At first Ronin worked for both sides, he engaged in Arson, Murder and kidnapping. Eventually Medici made a bid for the mercenary’s services permanently. Eventually the Medicis and Ronin Drove the Riccis out and secured Siciliy. Ronin became a bodyguard for Franco. During this time he met Franco’s daughter Isabella. Isabella was like her father, ruthless and headstrong. Her father had been training her to fight since she was a child, but he kept her away from the dangerous wars, because he loved her more than anything else in the world. But it was not a healthy sort of love; his love was jealous and possessive. He was the only man in her life and he liked it that way. Ronin admired her strength, courage and fighting spirit. The two became lovers after Ronin fought of a Ricci hit squad that was trying to kill her. Knowing Franco’s jealousy they kept their relationship extremely quiet. But Franco kept watch over his daughter and it soon got back to him that she and the mercenary were lovers. The mafia boss was deeply upset by this but his pride prevented him from speaking out. Eventually the Ricci’s sued for peace. Ronin went with a few men to the meeting, what Ronin didn’t know was that Franco had set him up, and the peace agreement would be signed in his blood. As seeming act of good will Franco gave up the man, who had killed so many Ricci soldiers, and a few disposable goons. When the meeting went down, the men opened fire on Ronin. He managed to escape the trap but found much of the surrounding blocks populated with Medici and Ricci soldiers. He had a running gun fight throughout the city before a lucky bullet went through his head. Thinking him dead the gangsters went back and reported success. But Ronin’s regeneration kicked in and brought him back from death. He vowed to take his revenge. He stormed the Medici complex, looking for blood. Eventually he found Franco and gunned him down right in front of Isabella. Furious she attacked him, during their fight he found out that she had nothing to do with the betrayal and she found out the reason for murdering Franco but she couldn’t forgive him for killing her father. He ran away from the compound, but he didn’t leave Florence. He spent the next few weeks hunting down both families’ men, but he avoided Isabella. Eventually he grew tired of the pointless killing and left Italy.
  2. As Malice Surmised it is more of an Anti-Claremont than just a general villain grouping. I think Sand wanted to know if there was enough interest to form an actual teen group.
  3. Inerested. Though I'm not sure how I will be connected. With Ronin I just figured he could be soemthing of a freelance "instructor" slash "fixer" who works with the headmistress. Sen could jsut as easily give in too his dark side.
  4. This is the intiiative. Though I think Avalon is next cause he "readied" an action. Vestige: 22 Ronin: 21 XXXX: 21 Captain Knievel: 18 Dark Star: 17 Arrowhawk: 14 Scarab: 13 Ace Danger: 11 Malice: 8
  5. Ronin cursed under his breath. Great now there is two of them. One was bad enough but the mercenary found his confidence a little shaken by the sudden, arrival of a second costumed vigilante. Well if was one thing Ronin knew it was that no one could predict a battle. Unless you cheated. Not to mention he was already beginning to dislike this Scarab guy. "Hey," he said addressing the Scarlett clad hero. As he did so he slipped his hand around the his back. "Do you know what happens to a Scarab Beetle when it is hit by a bullet?" Then with inhuman speed. Ronin vaulted into the air. A quick twist as he brought his assault rifle out. What he knew about the Scarab told him that he could stop a missile launcher, but only if he could see it coming. He aimed and squeezed thought and action melding into one. He squeezed the trigger hitting him with as many bullets as he could in the second he was airborne.
  6. Going to shift my to shift 1pp to Acrobatics. To get a total +12 modifier. 1pp will be used to get the feat Challenge (Accelerated Task) to allow me to feint as a move action. 1pp will go to the feat Acrobatic Bluff. 1 I will use for All-Out Attack. The other I will use to Get Ultimate Effort (Feint). Then using Hero Villain Point to get 20 on feint. So that is DC 31 Sense motive due to being rattled. Just enough to force a save. Then going to shoot her. 1d20+15=26 Also using power Attack. I forgot when I made the roll, so maybe it will get discounted. Pretty sure that is a hit. Yeah I think Scarab's Def is 20. So with Autofire it is +5. So DC 26 so far power attack or not. More depending on the result of the Sense motive it could be DC 31 if the power attack counts and Scarab fails her Sense motive check.
  7. Sen stopped himself before he shouted "Stand Back". Where was she goign to go. "Hold on." The young demon slayer used the tough sole of his boots to kick away a piece of the burning debris. The heat seared his leg but he kept on. He did shi best to switch feet to keep from being burned.
  8. Whoops how did I miss this? Fortitutde Save. 1d20+5=20 Actually I know why cause I'm sitll tryign to find out if I can continue saving the buxom young lady.
  9. Can I use my lone PP to have the Master Plan feat added to Ronin?
  10. Well hope I can beat a12... 1d20+4=19 Ok done.
  11. Ok I'll take it into consideration on my next round... if I get one.
  12. So that was an intimidate check? What does that do? Cause demoralizing is a full round action.
  13. Forutnelty for me I still have a +16 modifier to my sense motive... Unfortunetly I rolled a 2 1d20+16=18
  14. Ok decided to hop out the truck as my move action.
  15. WEll that is intersting, I wouldn't mind though I see some hitches though. One: Couldn't this be done in the chat room? Two: I am curious how the languge would go. I mean after a while isn't it very likely that the characters end up being just mouth pieces for the player? Take away the IC reasons to be anywhere you sort of take out some of their personality I imagine.
  16. That is quite a succinct report. Though I don't have analytical so I probably shouldn't know too many details. Mostly I imagine he knows her general powers and such.
  17. Happy Birthday. One more year and you will be ready for the big leagues.
  18. Ok seeing if I can do something about the buxom lass. I could probably leap in there scoop her up and leap out right.
  19. Sen moved as close as he could to the trapped woman. He could feel the heat from where he was so he knew he didn't have a lot of time. "Stay there I'm coming to get you." He attempted to access the mind link. It felt as if his head had swollen to fill the entire building. I have found a woman trapped by burning debris, I do not know her condition. He moved around looking for a way to shift some of the burning timber.
  20. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2161618/ Ok 20, though it seems pretyt unsporting to beat up a half-dead, unarmed man especially considering the kind of firepower stacked against him.
  21. Sen squinted, doing his best to keep the smoke out of his eyes. "Hello!" he shouted. "Where are you? Help is here." The young Samurai felt a strange stirring of emotion. This sort of work was not what he was used to. He normally spent his nights stalking alleys and running down supernatural horrors. He tried to get his head back on t e moment, looking aroudn for the source of the voice and moving to enter the house.
  22. Ok I would liek to request that this be added to my characters Powers and Tactics section: The primary experiment performed on Ronin was one designed, to distill and transfer the experiences of other people to a different person. Ronin's memory network has been overlaid with the memories and experiences of a host of different operatives, to create a soldier that is literally "ready for anything". Updated by Doc.
