Velocity was not too happy with the attitude of the officer that was in charge either, nor that he was sending off the press. She gave them a little wave and a smile as they left before noting that Nightrival had moved away and indicated for her to follow. In a flash, she was back beside him as he looked over and talked about his plans to for a team of sorts. "Thanks." She said in reply to his comment about her making a good addition. "What sort of team?" She then asked.

Running towards the nearest one, she swung at the grinning clown as it bobbed down towards her, but she missed terribly, the odd movements of the clown making it hard to target. Continuing past the clown, she looped back around to finish back next to Raindance. “Okay, that did not work all that well.â€Â

I figure there will likely be a bit more interaction with Nightrival, unless Shadowboxer figures Liam is in a hurry to be off. Velocity doesn't want to take too long though, as she needs to go change back and slip back into the crowd. She will try to find Will then.

Velocity did not hesitate when Raven told her to get after the other man. The speedster was rather sure that the dark dressed heroine could handle the men that had just arrived, though she could probably take them all out faster with a sonic boom. She ran over and down the stairway, after the leader.

Moving forward, she put on a broad, winning smile as she looked over at the press. “No, I don’t go to the university here. Science isn’t really my strong point, home ech is more my speed.
