Velocity did not like the looks of this lab or operating room, or whatever the heck it was. In a flash, she made a quick cruise through the room, so she could see the areas she could not, before finishing back where she started.

Well, it could be seperate starting places. Kevin could be showing around Folkert's character, while your character and mine are part of the "future student day" meeting and tour (perhaps with any others that might show interest). The groups paths could cross before the action starts as well.

I figure it would make a lot of sense for your character to be around Folkert (Heridfel's character is on the current football team as well )

I would not be so quick to dismiss the PL 12s that are here (there are only a few of us). Velocity is one of them, but she only has 166 pp, so none of her caps are at the PL 12 level, so in reality, she is a PL 11. Its just the way the increase the PL caps here, once you pass the max for a cap (say 165 for PL 11), you move up to the next cap.

Shaking off the effects of the attack from the evil clown things, Velocity saw that Raindance was still going at them. Righting herself in a split second, she was off towards the two jack-in-the-boxes, now right next to each other thanks to Raindance. Once she as sure she was far enough away from the other hero, she triggered her sonic boom, catching both of the mechanical terrors in the shockwave. The loud BOOM echoed in the warehouse, as she looped back around to stop near Raindance once more.

Actually, its a lot better, when you use a hero point, the reroll cannot be below 10, so you add 10 if it is, so that 9 is actually a 19, and you got a 22 :)

My character could be there, as she is a Senior in high school (at North Bay Academy, a private prep school). She isn't too likely to go to Freedom College either, so she would likely not be that concerned about the visit either, just away to get out of school for part of the day. But, if you want to keep the PL lower, Velocity would be too high She could be there before the fight for interaction though.

Well, the mother is there as well, and she can't carry both. If it comes to it, she will pick up the child.
