Jason had been in a meeting with a possible new addition to Draco Enterprises until about 8:30 PM. Currently, he was grabbing a cup of coffee and talking to some of the locals about what he could do to improve the situation for all of them. With his massive inheritance of course, not as Eternal Dragon. That would require a whole different crowd to talk to. Jason heard the explosion in the distance and excused himself from talking to Martha, a current resident of a run-down apartment building. Jason was considering purchasing the property and giving it a face-lift. Anyways, Jason quickly climbed to the rooftops, found a significantly darkened section of the roof and changed into his costume. Jason was using his Dragon Spirit to speed himself along to his destination. He needed to get there quickly or things could turn sour, considering the explosion was audible from this far away. Good thing one of the abilities afforded to him from his training in the Himalayas was enhanced speed. Along the way, Jason surveyed the area to see if there were people running away from the explosion. That would show if this was anywhere near a populated area and how much was affected.

Jason took care to walk around the table briskly and gave a quick handshake and introduction to each person at the table. He knew it was a little unprofessional and might hold the meeting up a little but Jason wanted to try to show that he was at least a decent guy. He knew some people might be irked by this little upstart just showing up and taking over and he at least wanted to be an endearing little upstart. Jason proceeded to sit down at the chair that Stone had left empty and give a smile.

"Let's go," Jason said with a smile. He felt quite giddy, honestly. This was his chance to get out and do something. The Dr. Parsons situation might end up ugly but Jason believed he could prevent that with enough hard work. Jason got up and shook Stone's hand quickly. He then waited for Stone to lead the way.

Oh, great. Jason didn't mind interacting with Stone through a business relationship but he really didn't like talking to Stone on a personal level. Oh well, guess it's time to get over that phobia. The pat on the back was welcome though. It kept Jason focused. "So Mr. Amir, I was wondering if there's any places in the city I should be seeing. A lot of journalists have already labeled me a recluse."

"Sounds good," Jason said as Stone finished speaking. He didn't like to admit it but Jason was something of a workaholic. If he wasn't doing something, he got really agitated. Hell, he was renovating the old dining room in Draco Manor before he left this morning. "That reminds me," Jason thought, "pick up nails before you get home". He realized he had been sitting there for a couple of seconds after Stone had finished. Jason began to speak so an awkward silence didn't happen. "So any issues I'll need to worry about during my time in FE?". Jason wanted to be prepared for any issues. Didn't want his first job assignment to blow up in his face.

"Hello, Mr. Stone" Jason smiles as he says this. He may feel as if Stone doesn't like him very much but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be polite. And Stone is helping him become the leader of his company, there's no reason to not be civil. "I've been feeling a little stagnate sitting and waiting. Why wouldn't I be excited?" Jason was legitimately excited. He enjoyed work in general and had ever since he was little. "So what will we be doing first?"

Jason felt a little antsy still but was reassured by the statement that Stone would be in the building quickly. He nodded and went to sit down. But before he left the desk, he turned and gave Gail a wink. As Jason sat down, he wondered where that came from. He hadn't been like that back in high school. Oh well. Jason sat and waited for Mr.Stone to arrive.

Jason was fairly excited to run Future Endeavors. Stone was being fairly gracious in giving him the opportunity and Jason was going to make sure he wouldn't regret doing it. Jason waited patiently for Stone to arrive so he could get the necessary introductions to this division of the company. He didn't really mind the people looking at him. He kind of expected for people to be surprised that the son of the Draco's came back from the dead. Jason looked over to Stone's secretary. She was cute. Randolph had said to try to fraternize with the opposite gender since, you know, he had just come back after 8 years of only male interaction. But that would be unprofessional in this situation. "Hi, name's Jason," Jason said as he walked up to talk to her. "You work for Mr. Stone, right? I was just wondering what Mr. Stone was doing at the moment."

Jason shook Amir's hand and smiled back. "Sorry, I've been out of town for quite a while. I haven't heard of a lot of people, apparently. I'm just trying to network a little bit. You seemed like the place I should start". Jason attempted to put on the winning charm that was dormant somewhere within him, probably. "Now that I think about it, I think I have seen your face before. "Most Wild People in Freedom City" if I'm correct. Honestly, you might be the only person I was aware existed that I didn't know from 8 years ago. The city's changed a lot". Jason tried to leave the conversation open so that his night stayed interesting.

Jason stopped his search when this black suited man busted in the mansion's door. He smirked a little at the guy's boisterous entrance. The dry atmosphere of the party seemed to get a little more interesting when the new guy walked in. Jason sauntered up to him. "I see you like making big entrances. Can't say I'm a fan of them myself but you make them look good, if nothing else". Jason holds out his hand in a friendly manner. "Name's Jason Draco. And you are?"

Jason nodded at the advice he was given. "Appreciate it. I guess I'll go see if I can find any of those people now. Thanks for helping me out, Mr.Vanderhoff." Jason said as he shook Vanderhoff's hand one more time and began to walk around the party. He began to look around for any people he may know from his times at his old school.

Jason tried his best to look intrigued. To tell the truth, he was interested in the business and philanthropy side of the Society. He had expected some sort of do-nothing's club and it impressed him that the wealthy of Freedom City actually did something. He had had too much experience with fat cats. "Well, another question if it doesn't bother you. As you know I've been out of the city for a long time and I don't really know many of the people here, besides the ones my father knew. Is there anyone in particular I should be talking to tonight?" Jason asked.

"Thank you" Jason said quietly after he mentioned the Himalayas. Jason tried not to dwell on the incident but it still hurt to even think about. He let it go once he heard about Draco Enterprises. "I'm not taking control yet but I will most likely at the beginning of next year. I don't know if you know him but Silver Stone is the current CEO of Draco Enterprises. He's been a great acting CEO and I absolutely plan to give him a high position with the company when I have the necessary experience". Jason enjoyed talking over his company. "I almost forgot to mention, thank you for the invitation. Just one question: What exactly does the Society do? My father never mentioned that detail."

Jason had been considering going and talking to Old Mrs. Levitt until Mr. Vanderhoff arrived. He put on a friendly smile and returned the handshake. "Nice to meet you, Mr.Vanderhoff. I recently got back into town so I'm can't say I've had the pleasure of your acquaintance. Do we know each other from somewhere?" Jason asked as he fidgeted with his tie.

Jason was aware of Stone's probable presence and made a mental note to avoid him however possible tonight. Jason didn't have anything against him but he always got the strangest feeling whenever he struck up a conversation with the current CEO. Stone was a polite person but he always seemed like he didn't want anything to do with Jason. No matter, don't let things like that bog you down, Jason thought to himself. Let's try to make the most of the situation. Jason went immediately to find something to eat. He had been out on patrol as Dragon before he had come to this party and using his ki tended to use up tremendous amounts of food energy as well. Who knew? Anyways, he tried to be polite to anyone who greeted him along the way, trying to keep it to short conversations until he happened across the spread. He grabbed whatever was on the table (not even paying attention to what he was grabbing) and began eating. He looked around at the people who were at the party, trying to see if there was anyone here who he even might know only in passing. Anything to make this night not consist of him standing in the corner.

Jason had been forced out the door by his old butler and friend, Randolph. He didn't honestly feel any reason to go, not knowing any of the people there, but Randolph begged to differ. "Mr. Draco, with all due respect, if you do not go to this event, I will be forced to take drastic measures". Jason still remembered when he was 12 and Randolph had been forced to take "drastic measures". He immediately changed and ran out the door. Jason hadn't been anywhere near a social gathering for 7 years, not even when at Stanford. He mostly kept to himself regardless and not knowing who was going to be here wasn't making it any easier. He stepped out of his car near the front of the sidewalk and waved over a valet. "Take care of her and there'll be more where this came from", Jason whispered while handing the valet 200 dollars. The car was his father's and he didn't want even a scratch on her. He looked around quickly and walked inside of the building.
