The Sailor
Well, here is the strangely quieter than expected trip to the unknown, featuring Torpedo Lass as the chaperone. Heri, feel free to tag here and follow. Link to comment
Heritage
Casey taking DC 20 on her Notice check like a BOSS! Link to comment
The Sailor
I figured. I'll let you respond, then I got more surprises. Link to comment
The Sailor
I'll post as TL, then you can post, then I'll make a GM post. Right about now though i want initiative rolls. Link to comment
Heritage
Initiative: 1d20+9=29 Yep, she's fast all right! Link to comment
The Sailor
Heh, indeed you are. Now go ahead with a IC post. And please, I'll need a Stealth check. It'll be easy as there -is- still a storm going on. Link to comment
The Sailor
Excellent. I'll give some exposition, then do a TL post, then you can respond. Link to comment
The Sailor
Your call on how to handle this turn of events... There goes the insurance money. Link to comment
Heritage
"Bluff, bluff, bluff the stupid robots!" 1d20+16=21 Meh. I never pictured Casey as a liar, but for tactical deception's sake, I'm sorely tempted to give her SM in Bluff Link to comment
The Sailor
I'm going to give you a hero point for that it was creative, and funny. Sadly, it won't work. I will need initiative. GM post after the roll. Link to comment
Heritage
Yeah, figured there's a good chance they're all radio linked or something; just wanted to try something different, to show that Casey is more than just a flying brick. Will have my Init roll up in a minute Link to comment
The Sailor
Well, it's not completely that... The robots are operating over both vocal and radio. It's a bit of a security measure. Edited June 22, 2016 by The Sailor Link to comment
The Sailor
Here is the batting order. Robots: Initiative: 1d20+12 22 Miracle Girl: 15 Torpedo Lass (I'm going to have her act last in this, so a virtual...): 1 Link to comment
Heritage
Is there anything close a hand, preferably metalic, that she can throw like a projectile? She's hoping to take one out at range, without revealing her exact location if possible. Edited July 5, 2016 by Heritage Link to comment
The Sailor
It's a repurposed cargoship. There's tons of stuff. Fire Hydrants, pipes, barrels, etc... Link to comment
Heritage
Okay, Casey's gonna grab a steel pipe and throw it like a harpoon; I believe this 1d20+6 to hit, DC 25 Toughness damage. 1d20+6=10 Well that was highly disappointing! I think i will use her newly-aquired HP to fuel a reroll. 1d20+6=24 Much better! Let me know if that works. Link to comment
The Sailor
I'm thinking you're hitting one of the smaller drones. Since this is 1970's armor, and not much either as the bot has exposed joints, you're going up against Toughness 8 on this. As a bonus... they're minions! Toughness Save: 1d20+8 24 Failure by 1! You got it! Minion Bot #1 is DOWN! Although now you no longer have the benefit of being hidden, nor catching any drones flat-footed. Or for that matter any concealment bonus until you find cover again next turn. I'll do the drone actions for the remaining two after you post your skewering of that minionbot. Link to comment
Heritage
That's fine. Wanted to try something new, having her pick them off at range. Though if they're minons...actually, she doesn't have Takedown Attack yet, so might stick with this strategy for now. Link to comment
The Sailor
Well free free to post your first beat-down. And I'll post the actions of the two drones. Link to comment
The Sailor
Attacks Drone #1: Attack Roll: 1d20+7 9 - Missed by a mile. Drone #2: Attack Roll: 1d20+7 17 - Barely missed your defense. Posting shortly. Link to comment
Heritage
Since they've already seen her, she might as well just fly in and bop them. Unarmed Attack roll: 1d20+10=26 DC 25 Toughness save! Link to comment
The Sailor
Drone #2 is Down! Toughness Save (+7): 1d20+7 23 All that leaves is Drone #3, I'll post what happens with it once you post you owning another Drone. Link to comment
