"Man, you know what we need to do," Toykiller said to his brother in arms as he flipped a spray can in the air and caught it.

"The same thing we do every night, Pinky," Tag said with a grin, "Try to take over the world!"

"Naw man," Toykiller said spinning the can in the air again, "it's that time once again. We ain't done nothing big in forever. I mean when's the last time they saw out names all big and bold?"

"Well, we usually run into a hero or two when we do that," Burner said seemingly uncaring about the repercussions.

"Right on bro," Toykiller exclaimed happily.

Tag picked up a map of the city, "Your idea, your call, man."

Toykiller was too busy looking at his book, "I've been working on this for a while. It need to go somewhere nice."

Burner thought as he pondered the picture, and then something hit him like a lightning bolt. The expression on his face was priceless, "Pyramid Plaza."

Toykiller and Tag looked at him their mouths agape, then to each other, then back to him. "Awesome," both exclaimed in unison.

12:01AM, Friday December 2

It was late. Milo and Katrina had spent the day at the plaza just hanging around. They had enough cash for eats and entertainment. They perused stores like they had something, but they knew they didn't. This was strictly upper-class though! Nothing like hanging at the mall, which they usually did. The last guy Milo called into the police had a fat stash of paper. Two hundred to be exact. They saw a couple of movies and had lunch and dinner at the top of the Plaza. It was a good day for them to take their minds off things. But when it was over, they had to leave. Both of them needed a place to stay. It wasn't like they'd not slept on city benches before. They were used to it by now. But it was a big letdown after all the fun they had. A reminder of where they were. It wasn't in the Plaza but near enough to see the mountain of glass.

Katrina dozed off first. He was almost there himself when he saw something out of the corner of his eye. Three suspicious looking dudes sneaking near the building. He had to go check this out. Pulling off his hoodie, he draped it over Katrina. Underneath was a black shirt with an intentionally faded logo for the Freedom League. From his pants pocket he pulled his cowl out and quickly tied it on and adjusted it. Now to sneak on the creepers.

Following where they went, hopefully stealthy enough, he found three guys with spray paint cans. They weren't this crazy, were they? Apparently they were. They were using the scaffolding for the window washers to pull themselves up. Sleep shook his head. "This can't be right," he whispered to himself, "Freedom City sure has some courageous criminals!"

Mali grinned from under her mask, and the helmet that covered it. It was a cold night, but a great night for riding. Her costume protecting her from the chill, she was out on patrol. It felt great to be out at night. As the red and black motorcycle roared beneath her, she had to stop herself from laughing out loud. As she rode along, Pyramid Plaza stretched above her. Even at night, it looked impressive. She pulled off to the side and parked her bike for a moment. There was something on the building.

She stared up at them, they were clearly up there. Three stupid looking teenagers trying to climb the side of a building. They definitely looked up to no good. Mali grinned to herself, and cracked her knuckles.

"Seems I'm gonna have to put food off for a bit..." She said, before taking off running towards the young men.
