GM Post When the two turn around everyone but quintessence sees right away that the two in front of you are two of the missing FCU students. As you watch the man starts to grow. In just a few seconds he is as tall as the roof three stories up. You three picked the wrong place to stick your noses in. If you leave now I'll let you live. Otherwise I could use a good workout. With that the 35 foot man takes a very large step forward with a smile on his face. The girl moves forward with him somehow keeping pace with his gigantic steps.

Could I get another notice check from everyone. I can tell you now Quintessence does not notice. 8+1=9!

GM Post When the ball of light comes into being the whole room is illuminated. You see two figures across the room, near a door marked stairs. There is one man and one woman. The man is large and muscular with dark hair. he is wearing a uniform like grey jumper. The woman is small about and slender. She has blond hair and is wearing the same grey jumper as the man. The two people turn around when the light comes on. For a moment they just stand there and look at the heroes waiting for what is going to happen next. The man says Well would you look at that we have company. What are we going to do with them?

Quintessence waits until everyone is seated then says Captain if I remember correctly Senda It is a small planet roughly the same size as our Pluto. It has a reddish coloring due to a layer of Hydrocarbons on the surface. It travels in an elliptical orbit and has no moons. The surface is composed of mostly methane and H2O. What I would like to know is this, is there any indigenous life on the planet? Has there been any activity on the planet that would suggest there is still Preserver activity down there? And is there anything you can tell us about what we might find down there no matter how insignificant you may think it to be? After firing those several questions in rapid fire Quintessence leans back in his chair and waits to see what the Captains response will be.

Noticing the black van with it's lights off pull around the back of the science building quintessence decides that it looks exactly like the kind of vehicle a kidnapper would use. I should check that out. It could be nothing, or it could the lucky break I was looking for. As he flies over the building to the loading dock he sees the van parked in the loading dock. That's interesting, None of the other kidnappings had damage like that. Looks like I found something interesting in any case. Landing next to the ripped open door he looked in too see nothing but darkness. Wish I had a flashlight or something.

Quintessence Would like to use his Physical science skill to see what he knows about Sedna. Since he is an astronomy major and all he gets a 10+7=17!

Your Radar shows that through the darkness there is a large open space beyond the door, presumably for the offloaded items that come through the cargo door, There are two figures moving through the darkness towards the left side of the room.

GM Post You notice a black truck with no lights on and no logos of any kind drive around the back of the physics building to the loading dock. When you get there a few moments later you see the van parked with the doors open and the door to the loading dock ripped open like tissue paper. Through the gaping hole in the side of the building you see nothing but pitch darkness.

Well everyone made the DC 20 notice check.

At the mention of the Preservers Quintessence stiffens visibly and leans closer to hear every detail. With a look of intense concentration he tries to soak up every detail. Quintessence had hoped that his first foray into space would let him find some information about the Preservers from the aliens databases, but never in his wildest dreams did he think he would get so lucky as to be on the team sent to find actual preserver artifacts. Well Captain I can give you my word that I will do everything in my power to recover these artifacts. All smiles gone from Quintessences' face he was all business now. Hopefully I can learn something about the Preservers before I have to turn the artifacts over to the Lor.

Quintessence looks around the ship like a country bumpkin in the big city for the first time. He tries to take it all in, every last detail. I can't believe I am finally having contact with some aliens. Maybe I can get some kind of answers. This place is amazing! Taking a step forward trying to look confident and friendly at the same time Quintessence says Captain Mirta I thank you for your hospitality and for the transportation you are providing. I hope we may learn much about each others cultures. I find this ship an amazing sight. More so because I have never left my own planet before this. Quintessence offers his hand to the captain with a sincere smile on his face. He hopes to make allies of as many alien races as he can while here. This is a singular opportunity for someone who studies astronomy.

Quintessence had been looking for some kind of clue for the past two weeks now. Not being very experienced in detecting field he had resorted to flying from building to building looking for someone to be kidnapped. While not a very constructive approach it was all that he had. Maybe I should take a class or two in criminology. It would probably come in handy. Man people are getting kidnapped every couple of days and I am still no closer then I was at the beginning of this. Maybe I should put on my street cloths and walk around by myself at night. At least then I would have a chance of the kidnappers looking for me. Shaking his head and thinking of all the reason that is a bonehead idea Quintessence continues his patrol in hopes of finding some clue as to what is going on at his school.

Looks like it is Quintessence, Starlight and Supercape in for this Adventure. Please feel free to let me know if I am doing something incorrect, This is my first run as a GM here. I will without a doubt make several mistakes and I will only learn to correct them once I know about them. Lets all have some fun.

GM Post Freedom Ledger Page 4 Streak of missing students at Freedom City University continues to rise. The total number of missing students currently stands at ten students. No common links other than being Students at FCU tie the missing persons together. Over the last three weeks there has been a rash of disappearances on and around the Campus. Police are currently following several leads but no suspects are currently in custody and none of the missing students have yet been recovered. The atmosphere on the FCU campus is subdued. The President of the University is holding a faculty staff meeting on Friday the fourth on the viability of canceling classes until the current crisis passes. Most students can be seen traveling in large groups. Campus security has canceled all public gatherings until further notice. FCPD has a visible presence on campus. Several Heroes have been sighted patrolling the area the missing students were last seen. Fear and confusion are almost as prevalent as the varied rumors running amuck.

Quintessence was out on a routine patrol through the Fens when the representative of the Freedom League flew down and waved him over. Quintessence had never run into anyone from the Freedom League before. He stopped in mid air a few feet away from Captain Thunder with a smile on his face and waited thinking I hope I don't make a fool out of myself, this guy is seriously famous! All thoughts of fame and other frivolous things fell away as he listened to what Captain Thunder had to say. Apparently there was an interstellar mission that needed a few people with the appropriate skills. The Freedom League had come up with a list of people that might be suitable for the mission. With my Knowledge of Astronomy and my history with extraterrestrial contact I was one of the people they thought might be right for the job. As soon as he was done explaining what the job entailed I said Of course I will go. This is a matter of global protection. All other concerns are secondary. Of course this also gives me a chance to maybe find out something about the Preservers who gave me my powers and what caused the accident that caused the death of my parents. After Captain Thunder gave me the information I needed for the departure I had to think up a cover story for my sister. I went straight home after my meeting with Captain Thunder. My sister was still up because I had cut my patrol short. Early Night at the Observatory? Just a bit surprised to see me home earlier then three in the morning. I got some excellent news tonight. There was a last minute cancellations on the trip to the new super telescope in Colorado. The only bad thing is I have to leave in the morning. I will be gone anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. I have to pack fast and get some sleep before the group picks me up at five in the morning. I hate lying to her, but it would be too dangerous if she knew the truth. That is Fantastic news James, congratulations! I will miss you while your gone. I gave my sister a quick kiss on the cheek and went to pack, I still had a lot to do before I met the other members of the group for departure.

I am putting together my first GM run. I am looking for some Heroes to join Quintessence in discovering what has been going on with a recent wave of missing students on the FCU campus. I am going to keep it small since I am new to the GM roll. I am hoping for two other participants other then Quintessence to partake in the adventure. I will be giving first priority to people that have a tie to FUC as either a student or an employee. If you wish to join please be aware that I am now to this and we will probably move at a slower pace to give me time to get the hang of everything. All interested parties please respond.

If you want her to be able to create a pigment with her skin that imitates a tattoo of writing you will probably need the precise extra. Otherwise it might be too complex for her skin to create such fine detail. Other then that I don't notice anything that jumps out at me.
