  1. Geckoman's 1 pp go towards increasing his Will save by one, to a total of +2.

    Arrowhawk has 3 pp to spend, hurray!

    1 pp goes towards Equipment, buying back his grappling gun (why did I get rid of it? :cry: ). That'd be Super-Movement 1 (swinging) for 2 ep, and three pieces of other equipment: binoculars, a lock release gun and a mini-tracer.

    This also replaces the Super-swinging arrow in his Device with a net arrow, as follows:

    AP: Snare 6 Net arrow

    The other 2 pp goes towards skills. He picks up 1 rank in all skills with Skill Mastery (Climb, Craft [Mechanical], Notice and Stealth), 2 ranks in Gather Information and Knowledge [streetwise].

  2. "Well, assuming neither of us have water control powers, we help the fire fighters out. They may need help getting people out of the building or keeping the crowd away from the blaze." As they neared the fire, it became evident that it was some sort of apartment building, the flames licking around the outside of the building as the fire brigade struggled against it.

    "Drop me here," said Arrowhawk, letting go and rolling on the ground. "I think I hear screams from upstairs. You want to check it out or shall I?"

  3. Arrowhawk grasped her hand and held on tightly. "Thanks for the ride..." As they flew, a bit slower now, he took the time to secure his bow and quiver to avoid losing them in the air.

    Suddenly he noticed something a few streets away. "Fire! We should head over there"

"Well, then, this'll be a bit more interesting," grinned Arrowhawk, quickly firing the grappling hook at a nearby lamp-post and feeling himself tugged into the air by the zip-wire, unattaching it and free-falling for a brief moment before firing at the next lamp-post and pulling himself around in a wide arc through mid-air . As he took off down the road, he shouted, "Not how I usually patrol, but let's make it a bit more fun, eh?"

  5. "That should come in handy," smiled Arrowhawk, tossing a top on the table as he pulled his grappling hook from his belt, twirling it around his trigger finger unconsciously. "I'll need you to hold on to me while I do this, unless you can fly?"

  6. "Nope, I didn't build any of my equipment, even the simple stuff. I made the suit from a blueprint though. Luckily, it all seems to be low-maintenance and self-charging. I do have a load of blueprints and got some textbooks, so I'll learn to maintain it all eventually."

    Then she directs a question to Chris. "Can you use lightning? I can do that too, it's very pretty."

    "Nope, I'm Geckoman, not Pitchooman like some people seem to want to call me. That said, these," he says, holding up his arm to show a metal apparatus with a nozzle pointing forwards strapped to it, "do fire lightning."

    He twiddles a knob all the way around before pointing it at the ground and shooting out some blue sparks. "See?"

  7. OK, I try to offer the hand of peace, maybe a little aggressively, but I'm not the one making ADHD jokes. Asshole, he better keep away from me. But hey, there's that... Darian, wasn't it?

    "Hi, Darian, I'm Chris," Geckoman replies, returning the handshake with a genuine smile. His face lights up when he gets the opportunity to talk about his ship.

    "Yeah, the Pitchoo's mine, after a... complex series of events. I know it flies, is radar-invisible and shoots stuff, but since I don't know who built it, I'm still figuring out how to use it. I'll show you around it later, if you like."

    "So, erm... if you don't mind me asking, what was with the false name? I mean, you said you'd come on the wrong day, were you meant to come to another admissions day or something?"

  8. "I'm not angry about being corrected, hell, I'm mostly human and perfectly fallible. Nothing stopped you from saying 'Actually, Chris, we need to go to Admissions first.' But you used Pitchoman, something that only resembles my name for an admittedly highly obscure reason. So either you did it deliberatelyto annoy me, or you weren't really listening either and wait! Didn't you just try to call me out for that? Oh no, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I think he did!"

    Chris took a deep breath. "So, Warren, we can either keep yelling at each other and threatening each other, or we can shut up and treat each other with a bit of damn respect?"

  9. "Not much tonight. I was looking for a drug dealer, but I've been misinformed and it's too late to go back across town and do something about it." He thinks for a second, before deciding to offer. "I could take you on a quick patrol to see if anything is going on?"

  10. Pitchoman? Oh, it is oooooooon. "Pitchoman isn't as inaccurate as you're looking for, it's an abbreviation of Ptychozoon, latin for one species of gecko, but hey, guess you don't think through trying to act the big guy, dontcha? I mean, we can't all be as perfect as you, can we, and know exactly what to do all the time?"

    He leaned back against the wall. "That was sarcasm, if you hadn't noticed, and the rough translation for that little spiel, big guy, is simple. Call me Chris, Geckoman, or if you prefer it don't actually speak. Sound fair?"

    "And that all depends on what areas you stay in. My regular haunts I think you'd be correct, but if you take into account the whole city, I'd say you're mostly wrong. I've seen the scum of the Earth long enough to tell this city is fairly safe."

  12. For some reason I thought the title was "The Quiver you start, the Quiver you finish" Well if your guy succeeds in this thread maybe the mobsters will pay Ronin to get some payback or maybe to protect thier backs on the next one.

    Ach, he'd take him out easily.

    Anyway, taking 10 I get a 25 to Notice some way in. Otherwise, I'll need to waste time searching.

  14. Fine, I'll just make it restricted 2 or this'll never get resolved. alternatively, would it be acceptable to just have the one AP not work for anyone else, basically 'winging it'?

    If not, I'll just stick to the restricted bow

  15. More suggestions from chat for people to think about :P You could put Restricted on the powers instead of the device itself.
