  1. It clearly implies that he was shot off late in his life/very very recently. And his powers make sense. It's not a 'Green Flames of Disaster' array, it's a 'Magic' array, likely spiritual power magic, and the hellfire is just 'spiritual fire', called hell fire because that's what the book calls it.
  2. The boy simply grabbed ahold of Ionica's hand, leaving his bag where it was, and dragged her towards the counter. "It's where they get your real name, age, and the like, and they enroll you, and give you your room, before you pick classes and the like." He replied as enthusiastically as he could muster.
  3. ((OOC; Just assuming here, that no one replying translates to it being fine.)) An answer from a receptionist came "Oh, Mister McCue? Your Room is right here. Room 45, which is on the second floor of the Jon Carter Dormitory. Any other questions?" The boy shook his head, and gave a smile, before turning to leave the counter, and spotting the now fairly familiar blue and yellow haired girl whom had followed him all the way to the school. She was calling his name, too. "I'm right here, Lucy. You want me to show you the counter for the office?"
  4. The young hydrokinetic's walk to the admission's office continued, and he entered it in silence, still shouldering all of his bags as he did, holding the door open and looking around in it. He calmly asked a question, not seeing anyone immediately as he entered. "How do I find out where my dorm room is? I'm Warren McCue, a junior transfer, already been enrolled, but need to know where my room is, if anyone can help me?"
  5. Question; Anyone mind if I control a NPC/the one to tell me where my room is? Warren's already entirely enrolled, though it was 'distance enrolling'.
  6. His response came in one quick and stern breath. "Faulty assumptions lead to faulty action. As I don't feel like having any enemies in this school yet, I'll just drop this, but don't act so brazen, even though we're in this place, there's always a chance someone could see you in such an outfit and then would identify us as all knowing you, putting us in danger if you end up with enemies. That was why I called you Pitchooman, as if you'd rather be called 'Chris', you'd not be running around in your 'hero' uniform, you'd be dressed like a normal person. I made the assumption that you, like Lucy, would rather be called by a 'superhero name', and I referred to you as Pitchooman to get your attention. Then, instead of taking it as such, you tried to call me out as being 'dumb', in the assumption I was, so of course I'm going to get an attitude and not show you respect." He began to walk towards the admissions office. "If you want respect, give respect, and don't act like a jester that's out of rydilin. I'll give you a clean slate for now to give respect and act like a normal human, but don't expect me to not get irritated and disrespectul if you don't."
  7. "So long as you like eating table, kid, sure sounds like a good idea." Warren answered without even a moment's hesitation, long since tired of people making stupid assumptions and trying to make him seem dumb, or ugly, or weak. His tone was as calm as could be as he said it, and he didn't even remark the other stuff, as he had known that before hand, and just didn't care. "But don't make assumptions and then get angry about it, Chris. ADHD may come often in some super humans, but there's no reason for you not to listen to things, or try to. It'd be a waste of our time and energy to just go to the dorm and expect to find a room, when we don't even know our room numbers." He pointed to his forehead. "You've got to learn to use your brain, chuckles."
  8. There wasn't a word from Warren as he watched the two members of the facility give their speech, assuming when they said that about powers they would try to keep tabs on what powers each student had, as otherwise they'd not stand a chance of figuring out who did what and even less proving it. He chuckled at it all, and listened to Gordy, his head tilted in the boy's direction as he spoke. His assumption was confirmed with the mention of a 'power assessment test', and he simply watched without much of an expression, that is, until his peer, Geckoman, did what he did. Not only was the way he did it corny, but he also made a stupid assumption. They were not all enrolled in the full sense yet, and none of them knew their room assignments. Taking into account the boy's 'chosen name', and the fact that he was wearing garish gecko colors, as well as had come down from the sky, he decided on a nickname for him. "We should head to the Admissions office, actually, Pitchoman." The boy chuckled, getting up from the chair he was sitting in, and picking up his bags. He had already memorized the area where the admissions office was, from the map handed out by the facility members. He gave a nod to Lucy and the others, and said "Let's go found out about our accommodations."
  9. Not a word came from Warren as he watched his surroundings, following the guides into the building, sitting as instructed, and taking his packet. Without a word, he looked at the packet, and a thought came to him simply. "Do these people have some sort of lie detector in their brain or something?" his thought came and went.

    Array question.

The element things are the only 'ties' to Haku, really. My favorite village within the Narutoverse is Kirigakure no Sato, and this is not a 'direct port' from Naruto, but rather a character who 'ascended' to shinobi-nin dom after being an otaku in obsession with a 'Freedomverse' version of Naruto I'm so far calling 'Soba.'
  11. Another, partially related question. I'm thinking of making a 'Centurion Knock off' NPC, who'll be school aged/the Centurion equivilent of 'Super boy' and may or may not have any relation to the 'Centurion' lore in the books, would he be treated by GMs as 'canon' in regards to 'don't control let a GM control'?
  12. If he had been less perceptive, he probably wouldn't have realized that look in her eyes as he looked back at her. He felt a twinge, wondering if it was an innocent 'I hate schoolwork because it's boring' question or if she really didn't have any capability. "It's a real school too, Lucy, but I'll help you, promise." he whispered to her.
  13. Warren simply looked behind himself and the hiding Ionica, and shook his head. He smiled to her, moving his body slightly so she could see him smiling at her, and he gave a simple statement of rhetoric. It was the same reason he had decided to come to the school, after all. "Lucy, you're wrong. You've got just as much right to come here as the rest of us, and learn both academically, physically..." the boy moved towards the girl's ear, whispering clearly. "and to master your powers. That's why I said what I did. Remember the words? I said? Superhero school. You want to learn to be a superhero, you've got to master your powers, so you make sure you and those around you aren't liabilities. You've got to learn to watch out, because not every villain can be smashed with a fist, as much as we might want it to be that way." He shook his head sadly at the thought. "We're all lost in this world, Ionica, and the only ones who can find ourselves are ourselves. We can accept help from others, but you've got to stop being afraid. Claremont will be a great place to you, I think, even if it's different from your regular school situation." The boy turned to look back at the teachers, giving a nod, and grabbing Ionica's forearm in a sign of being there to help her.
  14. I think the only real consideration there in is how much you want to read. IF you're willing to read a thread that's long and then work your way into it, it shouldn't be much of a problem at all. Otherwise, I'm not so sure. I'd suggest making a new thread, with a preset goal on something you'd like to accomplish with it.

    Array question.

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to work, though.

    Array question.

Both can easily be removed/don't bother me at all being removed. I'll rework it, shouldn't be much problems.

    Array question.

I'm thinking of using this template, as well. This is the array I'll likely use, though the actual array numbers are something I'm still debating, though I'll happily remove bits/modify it. I know the 'heroic' bit to the summon definitely needs to be removed, too. I might remove the 'summon' bit entirely. Ninjutsu Array 6 (Drawback: Power Loss [when unable to gesture; Uncommon, Minor]; 11pp) Base Power: Duplication 4 (Dynamic; Power Feats: Progression 3 [10 duplicates], Subtle; 1pp) Kage Bunshin no Jutsu / Shadow Clone Technique DAP: Duplication 4 (Extra: Horde [+1]; Flaw: Tiring [-1]; Power Feats: Progression 3 [10 duplicates], Subtle; 2pp) Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu / Multiple Shadow Clone Technique DAP: Morph 4 (any form; 2pp) Henge no Jutsu / Transformation Technique AP: Summon Toad 4 (Extra: Heroic [+1]; 1pp) Kuchiyose no Jutsu / Summoning Technique DAP: Super-Movement 3 (Wall-Crawling 2, Water Walking; 2pp)

    Array question.

Would you guys even allow me to create such an array or use one from one of the builds off of TATT?

    Array question.

I'm thinking about building a Ascended 'Narutard', as the term we Naruto fans call ourselves. His powers would be reliant on one thing, basically. A custom 'Ninjutsu' array. I know we have problems with some arrays, and I'm not sure how to build an array in any other than the basic way, but before I tried to build him/it, I'd like to know what the rules on that stuff would be.
  21. There was a chuckle from Warren as they came closer to the school. He moved to grab his bags before they even got to a stop, and was up and with his bags in hand and over his shoulders for those he couldn't fit between his hands and arms, the second the bus stopped, moving quickly to the front, and checking out the academy's entrance, reading those words and smiling. He was excited, though he wasn't sure why. He had before then not really felt any inkling of excitement at the prospect of becoming a superhero, but now it slowly came to him that it might be interesting, though he didn't think that such a mobile and unstable life would be something he'd like to do in the long run. This place before him was a place he could learn to master his powers with, so he could defend those he loved, and probably, defend those he cared about. He smirked a bit, trying to keep his visible excitement to a minimum, and simply watched in silence. He heard the bit about the ship above, and looked up, to see if he saw anything. He didn't, and he sighed, looking back towards the two figures, and then to the entrance of the bus to watch any of his straggling 'peers'. Without even looking at the two faculty again, he said simply. "I'm Warren McCue."
  22. Idea machine is still functioning. Give me a bit to muse over these things, and I'll edit it into my post right here, the exact things. Hightower seems like he'd be an amusing character to be sure, as does Jack. Give me a bit, and I'll post suggestions.
  23. Hey. Two questions. One, can the birthday post be 'unofficial/psuedo Alternate universe?', IE taking place in the 'future'? Failing that, is it fine if my character's birthday is -not- in Freedom City at all and does not feature him 'after' he's gotten his powers?
  24. Warren shuffled his bags as he waited for the others, patient as the waters he was genetically bred to be close to. He didn't say a word as any of the speech that went on continued, listening patiently. He didn't interject until the moment after Angelica spoke, having looked at Geckoman with wide, disturbed, and slightly angry eyes when he had first seen him, but now with just simple curiosity, as the mention of a cloaking device had come forth, his eyes lost their edge. He answered Lucy's question without problem, now. "Claremont is a school that caters to kids with super powers, Lucy. It's a school for 'superheroes in training', so to speak. That's probably why they added you to the possible list of students, aside from what Floyd up there said. It's logical to assume they'd know and think you need more training, not to be offensive." He yawned. "You didn't even realize that I was a super human when I leaped upon and tackled that robber from fifty yards away from him. Powers aren't the only thing that makes a superhero." He yawned for a moment, leaning forward, and then looked Geckoman in the eyes and gave him a nod. "I'm Warren, Chris. Nice to meet you, and if you get to deciding that you should give me a 'code name', don't. IF you don't want to call me Warren, call me Leviathan. It's very fitting."
