Is this opportunity available to even new members?

It would be a lie to say Warren's heart didn't sink a little when he realized his lie (which he thought very good) was found out, and there was an implication he'd likely be having to talk to the headmaster, on this, his first day, if that, of his new school. Warren almost twitched at the thought, but letting go of Lullaby's hand, he turned and walked onto the bus in silence, only his dignity preventing him from moping. He had failed in trying to help these two other super kids in getting into a place that could help them, and if that was so how would he fair as a real superhero, if he ever decided to be one? It made him want to sigh, and he almost did, before he heard the bus driver's response to Angelica. He blinked, wondering if it had been a trick and that's why he been found out, or if Lucy was just lucky. He decided to be optomistic, and go with the other option, as he plopped down on the chair which his bags were sitting on.

I figured there might be a problem with that, but I figured it was implied that I was leaving it open ended. D: That's one of the big reasons why we have an edit feature, and the way my character was trying to act (Fast talk) it fit well, especially with the fact he's name was -definitely- on the list.

Had Warren been any less collected in master plans like that, before he decided to roll with it. He, though smiling at Lucy without looking towards the bus driver, simply acted the way she did. Luckily she had whispered, so even though the bus driver might be watching. He called out "Oh god, it's a miracle! I didn't think I'd hear you speak! I thought you were mute! But you're afraid to talk to that man, your mom and dad didn't tell you you had to talk to big scary men like that?" He hoped his tone helped his bluff, but he wasn't sure, and he simply leaned into Lucy, almost as if he would if he was whispering sweet nothings in her ear, and said "It'll be alright." quite audibly, incase the bus driver was listening and watching him, and then he added. "Just follow along, Lucy. Go with me, I want you to come with me, so you can see how cool the school is. Not to mention I figure you would be a neat person to hang around." He turned back to the man, giving a nod. "I already loaded your bags, though, Miss." Then he began to walk towards the bus, dragging Lucy with him.

Warren, without a word, grabbed all his bags. He gave a nod to the Bus Driver, and strode onto the bus, almost saying 'There is no 'Claremont bunch'. He caught himself, however, and did speak clearly and calmly. "I'm Warren McCue, and I don't know for a fact what her name is, but that girl with the blue and blond hair and that girl over there on the bench are supposed to go to Claremont too, but I don't think the blue and blonde girl can tell you her name, either. She's a mute. From the amount of noise I was making earlier, too, I don't think the girl who's on the bench can hear. In fact, I don't think she realizes this is the area the other Claremont students are going to. Her mother dropped her off here from the plane, and asked me to help her." He secured his bags on one of the chairs, and walked out of the bus, hoping his bluff would work. He then walked to the bench, taking Lullaby's hand, and moving as if to bring her with him and guide her to the bus, while smiling at Lucy in a 'come on, this trick will be fun!' sort of way.

Only my character is actually supposed to be there, the others have to get 'interviews' to get in. And I PMed two Refs, one which referred me to another, and didn't get any progress. (hadn't caught the GM request thread.)

I already know that the current theory/situation on 'canon NPCs' and NPCs which would change a PCs character's story by being around/interacting is pretty much 'you can't touch them as it's taboo', you have to PM a Referee, but I've already gotten confirmation that we can ref our own threads with referee supervision, so I don't see why we shouldn't be able to control canon NPCs. Let us do something like a 'check out' of them, or just post an account of every time we're using them, and then it lightens a bit of the load on Refs, as they only have to read and step in if it's outrageous character abuse or it's something that's more statistic or there's a possible battle. Checking them out will let them keep track of the NPCs that're from the Freedom Book, or created customly and posted here, that are 'checked out'. It'll keep track of them, and it'll let situations like the current one (Me and my little Claremont group that's at the airport all sitting there for a GM to show up so I can get to Claremont, they can tag along, and then try to get into the school), dealt with. As it stands my thread's sat there for at least 2-3 days waiting for a GM, if not more.

Warren shook his head at the entire situation, before correcting Lucy very simply. "Claremont is a school you could learn plenty at, and almost every book is amazing, you just have to read it the right way." He shook his head. "In fact, if you were brave enough to go there, I'd show you." He looked out at the street, shaking his head.

The boy's brain instantly wondered why this girl knew he was going to Clairemont, or why she would want to go there. He really would rather not have someone stalking after him, as his brain resolved must be the reason, especially if they were like this. This girl was eccentric in the fullest sense of the word. But if she would go back to normal, it'd protect his secret identity, so he had no choice. "I guess I could try, but it's not like I have any pull. I was only invited to the Academy, myself. That's why I'm going. But I guess when I get there I can confer to the Headmaster of the school that you'd like to have an interview with him and possibly go to there." He spoke simply and calmly.

The boy simply blinked at the young woman whom had just begun all but serenading him. He blinked for a moment, and then shaked his head. "You know, I never said I -hated- you, it's just if you guys sit there and use powers and such so flagrantly, either you cause someone to come blame you for some crime, or you make people look at me and assume I'm a superhuman, too." The last words were all but a groan. He leaned his head a little forward, looking out at the street. "Besides, singers should love skeptics."

The boy shrugged, not looking at the girl. "Venues are everywhere." His words were sort of meant to make her go away, though his tone was not one that implied that.

I enjoy the sound of 'Leviathan', as it both ties to my powers, and what I seem to be, if my great-grandfather's tale after I found out about these powers was true. I try to get a lap or two around the local pool every day, too. How do you feel and react when this routine is interrupted for some reason? I don't mind. What kind of threat do you present to the public? I dunno. I'm, a superhuman person, though I've not tested the full extent of my powers yet. The dark haired young man both physically and mentally cringed at the actions of Lullaby, before looking even more intently looking towards the road. He almost moved to grab his bags, waiting just for a few more moments before loading himself up like a mule and starting to walk to the nearest place with a map, to just hoof it the way to Clairemont, if need-be. It was one thing being around some super powered girls, but it was another thing being around a pair of seeming slightly off in the head super powered girls. Especially one who invaded people's minds. He glared at the girl, before shaking her head. "You can sing if you'd like, but being so melodramatic is soooo unnecessary it's not even funny." He moved almost, to grab his bags.

So, while I'm not sure if it'll be appreciated, or even liked, but I've decided that I'll ply my trade (If you even want to call it that) in helping people design characters, here. I'm good at taking a basic idea and refining it to give it a more viable history, fitting place into continuum (and thereby likely people to play with or against), and help make sense of what sort of powers a certain type of person would have. If you'd like for me to help you, just post in here saying so and tell me the basic idea you have, including any specifics you'd like to apply to the situation.

The youth looked back at the older girl for a second, before back out to the street. His head moved forward a little bit, and he said clearly and calmly. 'There's no 'you lot.' "My name's Warren, by the way."

IF anyone whom is a referee would like to show up with person from the school to pick Warren up or a bus or something for Warren to get on and the other two to follow with out him realizing it at first, that'd be great!

The boy watched with a bit of curiosity until the girl's transformation was done, and he realized that this newcomer was likely also a superhuman, as well. He blinked for a moment, before turning away and shaking his head. With a thought of dread, his brain went over the simple phrase 'How am I supposed to keep my identity and super human abilities secret when I seem to be a super girl magnet?' His head moved into the position it would be if he was half nodding, and he sighed, watching for a Taxi. Hopefully one would show up soon, and the costumed girls behind him wouldn't scare it off. Hopefully if that wasn't the case, someone from the school would show up soon.

(OOC; Assuming that Lucy fluttering about to check Warren for possible damage equals a minute.) The boy was still slightly out of breath when the Ionic wonder began to move about him, looking at him to try to see if he had any broken bones or ribs, or if he was otherwise hurt. Seemingly miraculously he was no longer bruised, at best a light sting where the punch had landed. He simply smiled at the situation, wondering to himself if Lucy would realize what that meant, but moving for his bags just as he did.
