  1. Heavy's readying an attack, full Power Attack, for when Nanowire returns. He's so incredibly slow in comparison that he knows he has no way of catching him otherwise. Too bad - a charge would be helpful at this time.

  4. Heavy shrugs to himself. "Alright, guess I didn't do as much damage as I thought. That, or the mecha just repaired itself. Looks like I'm going to have to knock him out after all," he thinks. He looks over the sky, trying to pick out where Nanowire flew off to and failing miserably. He does the best he can, readying for his attack once Nanowire returns. "Next time, we gotta set a rule about flying out of the country during the fight."

  7. Hey there, I'll be the referee for this sparring match. I don't have a problem with Shinken's suit malfunctioning and his getting a Hero Point off it, but I'd also say that it'd leave him flat-footed for this round as well. If you still want the malfunction to happen now, post here in the OOC. Each of you automatically starts out this battle with one Hero Point. The referees are discussing how Luck will be handled in PvP threads, but for now, you can assume that it has its usual effect (an extra Hero Point).

  10. Heavy almost pulls back to land a great wallop and finish Nanowire off, but then he remembers why they came here and relents. "Remember, you can surrender any time. I'm not here to pound you into a pulp. Leave that for the 'heroes' to do," he says. He doesn't drop his guard, but he's not trying to smash Nanowire for the moment. Just in case it is a trick, though, he's ready for the sort of speed that Nanowire showed at the beginning of the fight.

  13. Well, I don't know about flat-footed, but I will hold off on attacking this round, and ask you to surrender. After all, this isn't a fight to the death (or the unconscious). He'll take total defense, which doesn't do much for him with his usual low defense. After all, a PC who keeps spending his action to defend will always lose a one-on-one battle.

    Avatars

I still need to choose an avatar. I am lousy about that sort of thing. I have the Penance as my avatar on a D&D forum, and most people ask me if it's a warforged. :)

  19. The "aiming for the jump jets" is just flavor. If he hits and does damage, maybe you'd stumble for a second, but not enough for an actual game effect. The Toughness save is DC 28. Let's see if your luck holds out. :)

  22. "So, that was definitely flying," Heavy thinks as Nanowire jumps into the air towards him. "Maybe destroying those jets would give me the advantage." As Nanowire blasts by him, Heavy bends back. Apparently, the suit is a lot more flexible than the plate armor it resembles. As he does so, he punches at Nanowire's feet, hitting the jets and hopefully throwing him off-balance for a moment.

  25. If you're making Flak Jacket a power, I'd prefer you call it a Device or change the name. I get confused when you have a power named after equipment that can't be stolen or removed. Tomorrow, you're right about the equipment Toughness maximum. I tend to use the main book's suggestion about realistic archaic armor when GMing (because it doesn't make sense to me that full plate is better at protecting people than a combat vest), but we haven't stated that we're going to use that, so full plate works. You're currently spending 44 points on powers (35 as before, another 10 for Impervious Protection 5, and getting one back from the Weak Point). You need to spend 4 fewer pp before you can get approved.
