  1. Titan sat in his chair, sipping his orange juice quietly, admiring the little award that he had been given. Of course, he stopped drinking once he learned the identity of the man in armor: The Equalizer. Privatized hero work…how strange. I see the idea behind it, but can we not be trusted to aid the rich and powerful as much as the weak and destitute? Titan finished off his orange juice and watched The Equalizer intently, rising once he heard the whole spiel about getting together for a group photo. He rolled his shoulders and readied himself for the picture…all the while shouting at himself on the inside about how he felt his award was a bit of a participation award.
  2. Titan nodded and smiled, “Hectic is a little bit of a…euphemism for the last time we encountered one another.†He looked around, noting some of the others before Riff brought his attention to the teenage girl across the way. Titan looked to Riff and then back to the girl, speaking as he stretched, “Well, we are heroes after all…†Titan then started to plod over to the girl, motioning for Riff to follow him towards her. Titan knew he really didn't want to be here, but he could really only imagine what it was like for the teenager. Growing up in the more rural part of Kansas, Titan had never really had to deal with the whole fancy party thing, but he figured that this was just the reality that he had to live with now, despite his nervousness and annoyance. Titan continued towards the group with Amir, the teenage girl and the older woman. Hopefully, he would have enough nerve to make it out alive.
  3. Titan wanted to scream. Somehow, he had avoided handshakes all night…and then came Amir. Amir, the man who had the winning smile. Amir, the man that Titan had to listen to. Amir, the man who saw through Titan in a very short amount of time. Titan did exactly what Amir said, he smiled and shook his hand. There wasn’t any crunching of bones or destruction of the arm, but Titan didn’t really have to like it, he just had to do it. Shortly afterwards, Titan heard Riff shout and he let go of Amir’s hand, looking towards the source of the noise, Titan smiled as soon as he saw Riff in his garish outfit. He had to admit, he liked Riff, and he really had a way of cheering Titan up. Then again, it probably had more to do with Titan and Riff having dealt with the Psions in the past, with some oddities. Titan looked to the others and nodded, “Excuse me.†Shuffling over to Riff’s position, as he did so, “Riff!†He shouted and laughed, “Good to see you!â€
  4. Titan flipped through the files, reading and reading as he did so. He stayed on the line, flipping through the files, coming across the name ‘Joshua Psion’ repeated over and over again, as well as the…inventive pictures of a girl who has experienced more than a few things in her life. Titan raised an eyebrow, and flipped through some of the other old records, sighing before he spoke, “There is a distinct possibility that we might…†Titan snatched up the newer stuff and laid it down next to the computer beside Riff, motioning over to Cobalt Templar, mouthing ‘Take a look at this’ as he went back to his phone call, “Drudge up anything you can find about the Psions, I need basic stuff ASAP. Tactics, weaknesses, anything AEGIS has, call me back and let me know ASAP.†He clicked ‘End Call’ on his phone and slipped it back into his pocket, approaching the others, “It would seem that the girl has some issues. At least, that’s what I can discern from this.â€
  5. Some more edits have been made!

  7. Titan looked between Knute and Karen, occasionally shooting a glimpse at his hand, extended to Titan. He gave them a warm, albeit metallic, smile and held up his hand in refusal, “I apologize, Knute, I am afraid that we would…not have a good time if I shook your hand. However, I must say that thank you for the congratulations. It is an honor to be recognized by you all.†Titan was smiling and being amicable, but he was lying. I really hate being here. I think the vast majority of people here are rich idiots with no day j—Oh look. Here’s another one. Titan inspected Amir, giving him a once over before finally speaking, “It is nice to meet you, Amir. I am Titan, the Metal Man.†On the inside, he sighed a little bit, Jesus Christ. I hope that they don’t come to gather around the metal giant. I already have to ride in a pink Stretch Hummer.
  8. Titan furrowed his brow, or at least made something that looked like a metallic furrowing of the brow. “I don’t trust anything I can’t smash easily.†He grumbled as he began to lean on the door once more, buckling under his weight once more. Titan heard his phone begin to ring and sighed, noticing the number was labeled ‘Lonely Point Joint Base’. He opened up his phone and answered, “Hello?†“Titan, check in! Where have you been?†He raised an eyebrow and looked to the others, holding the phone away from his face, “It’s the military base.†He then brought the phone back to his face, beginning to speak, “This is the Captain, I…am not exactly sure where I am. From what I can tell you currently, I am in a holographic simulation run by enemy forces.†He looked to the others, “I am not alone.â€
  9. Titan frowned and looked around the room, still holding the door like it was nobody's business, "So...what exactly do we do now?" Titan propped himself up on the door, the door creaking and bending under his weight as he did so, "I suggest we smash the jumper with a dumpster. I am...more than a little bit done with the whole jumping from district to district like madmen." Titan came up off of the door, the cracks remaining but the door returned back to a somewhat natural state. Thusly, Titan stretched and sighed, letting the door fall to the ground, "We might as well start looking around the city, or maybe look around this general area for clues and such. Any ideas?"
  10. Titan eyed the man's armor intently, looking over the shade of red that colored the man's armor. He could tell that there was a hint of nervousness in the man's voice, despite the synthetic feel of the speaker that rendered his voice. Hm...strange. I'll keep track of him...for now. Titan proceeded onwards onto the rest of the boat, taking a seat at a table, the card in front of the seat labeled 'Titan'. Titan relaxed in the chair, looking out on the greater deck, more than a little amazed at the idea that the billionaire who owned the boat could afford a reinforced limousine as well as a hilariously specialized chair. Titan was no small man, of course...he continued to sip on his orange juice, looking around the main deck of the boat.

  13. Titan raised an eyebrow as he heard Litwack speak, “Cyborg monstrosities? Seriously? Since when did the Nazis have cyborgs?†Titan scratched his head with the detached door, looking at Litwack and then to Cobalt Templar, finally at Riff, “Well…we could use his help to get back to 1923 and maybe we can stop them from doing this.†Though, it didn’t take very much for Titan to lean over, his blank white eyes boring into Litwack, “But if you are lying to us, I will smash you with this door. You understand, Litwack?†The metal man was clearly bluffing. It really didn’t sound too convincing. He seemed to be…off his game today.
  14. Titan nodded to the First Officer, grabbing his name tag as she spoke, “Thank you, First Officer…I would appreciate it if I could have some orange juice. I’m not a rather large alcohol fan. Otherwise, thank you for the greeting.†Titan shuffled along, his feet plodding along on the deck of the ship as he came up next to the man in the armor. He mulled over the man before he heard the obligatory greeting from the man. Titan took a drink from his orange juice and reciprocated, “Good afternoon.†Titan extended his hand to the man in the power armor, “I am Titan. And you are?†Titan paid little heed to the other heroes, but he could hear Riff’s shouting from almost a mile away. Titan just smiled at the man in the armor, his hand extended, I seriously hope his armor can handle the amount of force my hands can put out. Otherwise, there will be a problem.
  15. So, I had to go back to school before I could make the necessary edits and such from the character building thread. Thusly, I have edited it all in.
  16. Titan eyed over the two of them, not really noticing anything really special about them, but there were a few things that caught his eye outside of the couple. First, the Captain in his nice blue and yellow uniform. Looks like a mingler...Hmph. He continued to eye around, noting the girl with the clipboard, more than likely a member of Andrew’s staff, given her outfit. Finally, he came upon a peculiar sight, someone in a suit of red and chrome powered armor. Titan made a mental note of that before looking to the couple before him. It took him a moment to look down at Andrew’s hand and then back to Andrew and his more than a little bit attractive wife, “Thank you for the welcome, Mr. Topple. I would shake your hand but…I am afraid that we might need a hospital if I did so.†He then turned to Diana and gave a slight bow, “Likewise, ma’am. Now, if you will excuse me, I must find a sturdy chair on your boat.†Titan continued on from the couple and through the throngs of socialites, towards the woman on the yacht. If the woman hadn’t heard Titan, she could most certainly see him. There was a bit of a line, and thus Titan ended up next to Mr. Battlesuit. Shiny…probably more than a tad bit durable. Could get him over to Lonely Point, see if he’d like to help AEGIS with improvements on the MAX suits. Or we can just be friends. I like that a bit more.

  18. Ohhhhhhhhhh makes a helluva lot more sense now. Edited that stuff to make it accurate. Better?
  19. Titan grumbled as he rolled along in the pink stretch Hummer limo, his mess uniform pressed and clean. “Who in their right mind put me in this damned thing?†he wondered aloud as he stared outside, the lights of the city coming right through the tinted glass of the stretch Hummer. It is actually amazing that they could reinforce this thing to fit me…but why pink? “Oh, sorry Captain, looks like we can’t find anything else that could be done in time.†Whatever. The pink stretch Hummer pulled to a stop and out popped Titan, the walking flash reflector himself. He could feel the flash from the cameras on the metal of his skin. He shot a few smiles, gave some waves, and even answered a few questions when he felt like it. Of course, it doesn’t help that SURPRISE! No one gave me a briefing about this thing. “Oh, sorry Captain, not much we can tell you about the people who are going to this thing, in spite of our vast domestic and foreign intelligence networks.†I seriously hate ineptitude. Titan stood on the red carpet of this event, speaking with reporters, before taking one final look at the pink stretch Hummer. I seriously want to smash that blasted thing.
  20. Titan looked around and noticed that, surprise! Cobalt Templar was gone. Titan grumbled his heavy feet plodding along slowly, Wasn’t this guy a prominent scientist or professor in this timeline? What is someone like that doing here? Titan shook off the feeling and continued onwards, ripping the front door off of its hinges and carrying it with him. Like a normal person. He then turned and waved at Riff, turning back and walking into the house, having to sort of side-step and duck into the house being a metal giant and all. As he made his way through the house, he happened upon Cobalt Templar and the mad scientist from earlier. He really didn't say anything, just kind of stood in the background like a big metal roadblock, or a lamp, carrying a door. Titan examined the door, and really didn't notice anything special about it in particular. Still think he should call himself the King of Clocks...or Time King! I should do this professionally. Really, I should.
  21. Titan looked around for a moment, checking both sides of the street, eyeing the buildings and shady alleyways before quietly saying, “It would seem that there is nothing going on at the moment…†Slowly, he looked over the house that, he assumed, was the one that they were going to enter, “What kind of mad scientist time traveler decides to take refuge in a run-down old slum? You’d figure he’d steal the Taj Mahal or kill the Queen of England and declare himself King of Clocks.†Titan wasn’t exactly the stealthiest fellow, and one could probably hear his feet plodding from some distance away, so he looked to the others, “Well, we could enter…but the last time we did that, we ended up here. It probably isn’t smart to stay on the street, on the other hand, I wouldn’t like to get tossed through time again. That hurt like hell…but I’d rather suffer through that pain than have to fight the Freedom City Police Department because I’m a metallic giant. I vote we go inside." Then Titan heard what Riff said, "He's crying already? Well that's no fun."
