Was Lady with the staff's action to attack the other security guard just now? Or was that just the pre-combat round narrative?

Yes, the attack on the second security guard was her starting action for the round.

Mali is going to move action to a janitor's closet (as discussed in chat), standard action to remove her normal clothes to switch to her costume underneath, and then surge to run back out and confront the villain.

 

yes I'll be burning an HP to keep her from getting fatigued next round.

 

EDIT: gonna jump down to the level below where the girl fighting the security guard is, and roll an acrobatics with skill masterly of 25 for the check to avoid taking damage.

Okay, Tsunami uses her saved action for a all-out move down towards where she saw the figure disappear.

Although she doesn't know exactly where the remaining figure went.  Seeing as she didn't get initial sight of them. But using her speed and moving all out to start running around the mall looking for them.

Glamazon manages to catch up with unknown 1, who turns and attacks her with a staff.  But misses terribly with a 11.  (she used defensive attack -2 atk/+2 def).  IC post incoming.

So, Crimson's opponent will move in to attack (also using defensive attack -2 atk/+2 def to start), and she also misses badly with a 13.

Legion 3 is not paying close attention to what is going on at the front of the store as Tsunami activates her forcefield and steps into to send a water blast at her.

 

Tsunami only gets a 14 on her attack roll, but as she caught the bad guy (girl) flat footed, that just hits.  (DC 26 toughness save). 

 

Legion 3 just makes her toughness check!

 

And Crimson is up!

She is not fooled, getting a 32 on her Acrobatics check to counter.

So that hits, Mali's opponent only gets a 15 on her Toughness save, so she is bruised and dazed, and knocked back a good 15 feet or so onto her rear end.

Glam is going to surprisingly start by warming up with an Accurate(+2 Atk/-2 Dmg) Unarmed Attack (DC 20): 1d20+9 13, Lawd that's definitely going to be a miss.

Legion 3 will jump off the counter and charge Tsunami, taking a swing at her, but misses with a 16.

 

Stealth roll for Legion 3a is a 22.   Tsunami just spots her with a 25.

Legion 2 will attack Glamazon again, standard attack this time, and hits with a 21.  So DC 19 toughness save for Glam.
