  1. The medusa glare was hypnotic as it was angered. Overclock just did turn his head away in time! "After him, man," the medusa shouted to her companion. the snake slithered as fast as it could but it could not catch up with the roadrunner-wannabe. The giant serpent stopped and sighed. "You're right, dude," the medusa said angrily, "fast food is bad for you anyway back to tasty slow people!" Pointing back to the park, she cried, "High ho, Snake Boy! Away!" The giant serpent then turned it's gaze to the still fleeing people of the park and the one who had not fled, Eve! "Now, let's see how juicy the brave are." She paused, noting her lines, "Man, I really am hungry."
  2. Jade Dragon left Freedom City behind as the carrier landed on a deserted island somewhere in the in the middle of nowhere in the warm waters of the Pacific. Though she didn't get to take in the tropical atmosphere for long, she was lead deep underground. The metal hall lead to a metal elevator that lead down. It was all so cold and scientific. Though she was quiet taking in everything. The guards seemingly disappeared as gas began to fill the elevator and everything went dark. And now she was here. She had no sense of time. Hopefully it was only a few hours later. But she had more important matters to worry about. like getting out of this trap!
  3. Her mind took her back to the beginning. Eve was about to go on her morning run when she found a package with the Jade Dragon name on it. Confused, she opened the package up. In it, she found some kind of locator device and a note. "Eve, follow this device. This is the first test." Eve was confused. What did this mean? She had to admit, she was curious. But she also remembered what people said about curiosity and cats. She sighed and took the bait, hook line and sinker. She followed the directional device until she was at a helipad in the middle of Wharton Forest. Awkward, she had never seen or heard about this before. Some men in black suits welcomed her by name, "Ms. Kurosawa, we've been expecting you. Welcome to your flight." But there was no helicopter there! At least, that's what she thought before the men clicked a remote and a small carrier appeared. She was shocked. She questioned them about what this was all about. They explained that Dr Sin had been watching her baby steps and would like to improve upon them. Dr Sin? Really? That guy was only peart of stories from the 60s, though no one had ever seen him. Most people thought he was a myth. She had to see what was going on.
  4. Jade Dragon woke up to find herself hanging over a vat of some green soupy liquid. The smell was horrible, like all the fetid cheese ever. Her wrists were bound and she was sans her costume and grappling gun. The only thing she had on was a black spandex bra and shorts. Across from her was a scientific looking fellow pulling some levers and pushing some buttons. Jade Dragon needed to remember how she got in this situation. She also needed to get out of this trap before she was dumped in... whatever that was below her. She tried to yell at the man across the way, but the light thrumming she heard in her ears was actually louder than she thought. she couldn't hear herself speak! The mad scientist looking dude looked like he was oblivious to the whole situation. She thought hard as she squeezed her eyes and went into her mind, Remember, remember... REMEMBER!
  5. Eve nodded, "You make a lot of common sense, you know that?" She smiled and looked over to the order. Hopefully it didn't take that fast. She wanted nice fresh hot food. She took a sip of her water and drummed her finger for a second with a smile at her guest. A free floating idea seemingly hit her as she raised her eyebrow with delight. "We have a little while, why don't we go look at the rest of the stuff around here? I'm sure there's something we can find or learn with that." She chuckled, "Anymore talking about learning and we're going to start sounding like an educational kids show."
  6. Fist i need you to repost that Reflex roll you did in chat Secondly Sssnake Ssstrike! (1d20+7=15) Now, you're not looking at the snake lady, but the snake lady is riding the snake. so, you're not looking at the snake really. Flat footed this would hit you. Not flat footed it wouldn't. 7. The giant snake slithered towards the fleeing citizens, carrying his companion on his back. The medusa held on for what she could. Her stomach grumbled as she saw the quicker ones running for safety. Though there were not ones running. Were they stupid? Were they tasty? "Dudes," the medusa scoffed, "do you not see the hot snake chick riding the giant snake? Do you, like, want to be our lunch? We ain't chasin people for ships and squiggles, you know?" The giant snake contented to playing with his food, corralling them up like some old video game.

  9. Elsewhere in a secluded area of the park, two people, a tall gangly male and a short stout female, both clothed in what they were born with, could care less about the rest of the world. They had each the earth, each other, and about a pound of experimental medicine that would 'make them see the planet for what it really was' they got from their 'contacts'. Some people wanted to spend their money wisely, these two obviously did not. As they lay in each other's embrace, looking up to the sky the girl picked up the bag and opened it. What they found inside was so pungent that even their dulled senses had to recoil. It was a mess of damp herb-like substance. She took a large wad of it and lightly stuffed it in her friend's mouth and silently told him to chew. He smiled and did as he was told. She too took a large wad of it and did the same. The two began to kiss as they felt the reaction of every feeling of joy they had ever felt take them over. But that's not all they felt in their amorous moment. The woman's skin began to grow scaly and her head burst forth with snakes where her hair used to be. The man on the other hand, while growing scaly, continued to grow. Thinking they were deep in their own little mushroom samba the giant serpent and the medusa crawled out of the nature area. They were hungry and needed snacks. Those people over there looked mighty tasty. They both nodded and the medusa rode the giant serpent over to the crowded area. The crowded area freaked out.
  10. As Ferros followed the wolves into the dock, another set of wolves were near that exact same location. These wolves were being tailed by another hero, Jade Dragon. She had been following them for a while now, about an hour. Either they were oblivious of her or they didn't care. It seemed like they were tracking something. They too were heading towards the docks. Jade Dragon aimed to find out why two wolves were just hanging around. When they reached the dock, they saw the two that had gone ahead. Jade Dragon could swear they were... happy? One of the wolves from where Jade Dragon was standing howled into the night. The two already on the dock stopped in their tracks and rushed back to the others, ignoring the man on the flying disk. Even though Jade Dragon was a ways away, they turned to face her, watching her. One of them though was seemingly looking out for the flying man.
  11. Overclock and Jade Dragon EDIT: Going to put these here so i don have to backtrack everytime Medusa Giant Serpent
  12. Lake Mackenzie was lovely in the summer. People flocked to it's waters for recreation and relaxation. Though for Eve Kurosawa, it was just a pass though on her daily run. Her parkour runs lead her all over the city, but parks were her second most favorite place. City areas were full of lots of things to climb on and jump around, but parks, they had a sense of wonder and majesty. She would even stop here when she heard a saxophone player playing. She didn't want to slow down, but the music was way too powerful and soulful. She stopped for a while and listened to the music along with the crowd. He apparently was playing for tips. She reached into her arm wallet searching for change, but she didn't have any. She was feeling generous and left him a hundred dollar bill. She smiled thankfully to the saxophone player and stepped back from the case when she dropped the money in. He was good. That good? Maybe.
  13. "You'd be a very smart-assed villain," Eve smirked. "No," she smiled, "The bow is magical. Sure, it looks like a bow. It works as a bow for other people. But for me, it's more than that." She stood up and clasped her hands together, murmuring in an arcane language. After she was done, her bow appeared in her now open hands. "You see," she said lightly tapping the string. When she did, the length of the string shimmered between red, blue, black, white and green. "Now if there were no string there it wouldn't matter. The magic would still be inside of me. Unfortunately I cannot unstring this bow here." She murmured another incantation while holding the bow and it disappeared. She sat back down and took a sip of water, then smiled, "There's a lot we're learning today, huh?"
  14. Though Port Regal was a nice place, it was in Freedom City. Freedom City was a place where the strange happened every minute of every day. Night did not stop anything from happening. In fact, sometimes it encouraged it. Unknown to most of the world, the Silent Wolves were a malicious gang of cutthroats and bandits. Bygone artifacts of an era long past, in more ways than one. They preyed upon weaker individuals during the full moon when it was at it's peak. They had done so for ages. Well, ages for them was short. A family of wolves they were, blending into the sheep. Tonight was their time to shine. Port Regal was their hit tonight. It being summer there were wealthy revelers out tonight. The Silent Wolves looked to make a pretty penny without disruption. And boy did they know how to deal with disruption. A couple of stray wolves is all Ferros saw. They weren't dog, they were wolves. They were headed towards the docks area like it was no one's business but their own. Could they be dangerous? There were still people out and about at this late hour. a few bars and trinket places were located there. What could those two be up to?
  15. This is a thread where Jade Dragon teams up with Ferros and takes one something very strange!
  16. June 17, 2011, 10:34PM Eve was getting ready for her nightly 'run'. Just getting out of the shower, she dried off and fixed her hair back. After a good stretching to limber up, she reached for her costume. The green morphic molecule costume slowly covered her form. Sixty something years, she thought with a sigh, and this thing can't go any faster. She shook her head and reached for her mask. Donning the mask, she became the persona of the Jade Dragon. Jade Dragon needed her magical focus. She chanted an arcane invocation and it appeared in her hands. A mighty bow from which her elemental spells would fly from! And now she was ready to go out into the night. Port Regal was a nice enough place. It was quaint, Eve liked it. Unlike North Bay, where her parents lived, it wasn't filled with 'money' people. Sure some of them were good, but the ones that stood out to her were the stuffy old money snobs. Eve wanted a change of scenery, so she bought the Port Regal home. People were much more sociable. And at night, there was a calmness. Jade Dragon was the unofficial protector of the area. She hadn't seen anyone else there. Maybe she was wrong, it was a big place.
  17. Eve nodded with a hopeful smile as Silhouette offered up her toast. It was the violent vigilantes that brought in the Moore era. Sure, artifacts still existed, Silencer one of the known ones, but thankfully they were few and far between. But as she said before, she wouldn't wish the worst on anyone. She perked up when Silhouette asked about the bow. "Yes, the bow is new," she said happily, "other Jade Dragons used swords. While they were excellent swordsmen, I never took up the art. I prefer to keep my enemy at a distance." She chuckled, "It's much safer to not get hit at all, you see?"
  18. Caresse shook her head at the offer for school food, "While it is a nice suggestion, I'm technically not a student yet. I have to go to administration and dot the Is and cross the Ts so to speak. I do have a room set up though. Right next to Victoria. I'll be there after that to situate my stuff. But after that, I'm free." She almost forgot the words the boy said when he tried to hand her flowers. Her heart began to beat a little faster as the boy approached her in her little three foot bubble of space. A little bit nervous, she lightly stepped back from the flowers. "It's a very nice gesture," she nodded, her voice was cheerful but obviously something was wrong there. She lightly backed up a little bit more to rebuild her bubble, "Thank you anyway." She looked to Cole, seemingly saying 'let's get out of here' with her expression.
  19. Caresse looked nominally impressed when Torque talked of the possibility of impossibilities. It was all so wondrous what 'gadgeteers could do with bubble gum, a rubber band and a paperclip. "I'd love to see some of your work one day," she smiled warmly. She stifled a blush when Myrmidon bowed to her. It was quite gentlemanly of him to do. She responded in kind with a small curtsy. She hoped he didn't think she was being facetious. And then another student came. This guy seemed more forward than the others. "Dream Control, huh," Caresse questioned, "like you control what people dream?"
  20. DONE BY SHAENTHEBRAIN Give Lotus the following Complication Skin Contact: In both a blessing and a curse, her Aura works of skin contact. If anyone touches, accidentally or not, her epidermis with their epidermis (or vice versa) the power will manifest. Replace Lotus's description with this Caresse is a very tall girl with a lithe figure. There is some muscle behind it, enough to fill her out into an athletic build. Her skin is a darker shade of brown, a light chocolate color. Her hair is long enough that she keeps it in short pony tail most of the time. The costume is the only thing she wears due to the way her powers work. It looks like a solid dark blue seamless bodysuit that covers her entire body up to her neck, barring her hands. Instead, her hands have black fingerless gloves covering and protecting them, while maintaining manual dexterity with her sword. Despite its seamless appearance, she can take it off and on with a quick pull thanks to the morphic molecules that compose the outfit. While her feet are already covered by the costume, she wears a pair of heavy-duty combat boots over them to both add variety to her look, and give extra protection to her feet. DONE BY SHAENTHEBRAIN

June 27, 2011 Oh my god! They've finally found something, the Albright Institute that is. I'm going to meet with a biology controller. They're going to turn off this horrible thing. Sort of. They can't totally negate it. Terminus energy is a fickle thing, or so I've learned. It they totally take out the energy I'd be dead. But this person can fix it where i can control it much better. In the morning. So much love. June 28, 2011 I feel... awkward. And numb. They said the feeling would go away, but... Sigh, I don't know. Now the energy can't bleed through anything I'm touching. Just direct skin contact. I'm going to be wearing this costume forever. And I'll never be able to feel anything again. Science: my saviour, my jailor.

  23. Caresse nodded politely and listened to Torque's explanation of his name. "Yeah, people named Torque are bikers or mechanics, sometimes both!" She chuckled with a friendly wink, "After all that technology talk, I think Torque fits you well." A couple, she thought with a happy light sigh as they embraced, how nice of them to be so protective of each other. Maybe it was the area around her that she felt so well, but she did notice Crow checking her out. She nodded to him ever so slightly. Maybe they aren't a couple? Then Victoria started talking about video game weapons, Caresse smiled. "Well with what Torque was talking about earlier, I'm sure anything is possible." She looked to him with a jesting smile, "Hm, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
  24. "Toque sounds cool," Caresse smirked as she and Cole walked towards administration, "so do you work with cars? I know some people choose their name for symbolism. Others for the sake of simplicity and having a secret identity. Lotus has nothing to do with my powers. I'm a," before she could finish her sentence another person walked up. A female with wed eyes and white hair, and apparently her name was Victoria. Though she probably had another name. "Nice to meet you, Victoria," she smiled and nodded while lightly stepping back a good three feet distance she happened to keep. "So how does this dorm room thing work? Do we all get our own room? Do we share?" Caresse was polite and quite as Cole spoke, not wanting to bombard Victoria with questions. And then another person came! There was a lot here for a school that let out for the summer. Maybe summer school students? People without places to stay? She definitely would fit into the latter category. And again, she adjusted her position to not be close to the new guy. Wow, this guy looks pretty built, she thought, wonder if it's a power thing. I've seen a lot of built people because of powers. Heh, I can hope it workout. I can also hope he's not reading my mind. She smiled and nodded as he greeted them all. And then another student came. Wow, this has to be the luckiest day to come, she thought, so many helpful people. She kept quiet and stepped back to a comfortable position again. Holy hell, they do grow them big and strong here, she chuckled at the thought, must be something in the water. She noticed she had bee quiet for the last two visitors. "Oh hi, My name is Caresse, or Lotus, if you wish," she dipped a polite curtsy.
  25. Eve nodded at Silhouette's choices. The Centurion was a shoo-in for everyone. She remembered her grandfather talking about The Centurion from back in his days as Jade Dragon. It was nice."Midnight, huh," she thought back to some rumors she heard about there being a new Midnight. Though the new one was thought to be the old one. Probably just some new kid taking up the name. "Yeah, I hear that Midnight was running around again. Silencer on the other hand, I haven't heard news of in a while." She shook her head. "It's those violent heroes I don't care too much for. But I don't wish the worst on anyone. Here's hoping for the best."
