  1. "Right...You have it right..." he agreed, tapping his hands together. "uhh...well... I guess it's good that I'm that, at least. I mean, it means that I've helped you prove something."He said, smiling. This man was nice. Very nice. Powerhouse knew he could trust him. "Right. The girl had...blond hair...maybe Green eyes? She was related to the Werewolf man...I think. I'm not sure, but it seemed like it." He said, thinking hard. Then he remembered that he was an artist, and snapped his fingers. He had forgotten about it, but the doctor was a nice man. He could trust the man, right? He hadn't done anything suspicious, and had helped him. "Actually Mr. Doctor. It might be better if I draw them, instead of describe them. I'm pretty good at drawing. I could probably draw them faster and more accurate then if I tried to describe them. I think." he said, reaching out his hand and clenching it. "Can I maybe have some paper and a pencil?"
  2. "Okay, Ms. Silhouette." Powerhouse said as she walked away, happy enough that she wasn't worried anymore. He waved her off, understanding enough that he shouldn't pry into her affairs, then sighed and looked away. "Alright, don't get hurt Ms. Silhouette. It would...not make me happy, if one of my friends was hurt because of me. See you later." He muttered, then jumped away, off the roof. He'd wait for about an hour, then return to the building, since it was his home, after all.
  3. "Yeah, I understand you can't do everything alone. I mean, Mr. Victory's already helped me out a bunch, I bet he wouldn't mind helping me again." he agreed, nodding his head. "But still, don't worry too much about me, because I'll be alright, you know? I mean, I got away, so it's a problem to deal with, but, maybe, by the time it rolls around, there will be people willing to help me deal with it." He said, agreeing. "But, it seems like this would be a long time off though. I mean, I don't want to drag everyone else-whoever everyone else turns out to be- down, but I suppose I can't wait forever ether." He muttered, then shrugged. "So tell me more about your family! You told me about them as a whole, but what about individually?"
  4. "Maybe nothing." He admitted, backing down slightly. "Maybe it means nothing. Maybe everything is a lie. Maybe they let me get away, just to prove some insane plan of theirs. Maybe I'm the only successful test, and I'm doing exactly what they want me to do, like a puppet on strings." he agreed, but he stayed firm. "But even so, I don't want to think about it that. Maybe it won't be all right, but there's nothing stopping me from believing it will be." he argued, then sighed, and relented."...Very well Ms. Silhouette. I'll do as you ask. When I next see Mr. Victory, I'll tell him everything, and he can do...something, and then I won't have to worry about if the next time I save the day, if they'll find me, and they'll take me back." He finished, looking down and away.
  5. "Umm..." Powerhouse mumbled, not really sure what was going on between Ms. Dragonfly and Mr. Push, but also realizing it probably wasn't his business to interfere. "Well...It's not easy, sure, Ms. Dragonfly, but it could be worse, you know?...Maybe." he offered, scratching his head. "Well...the point is, I don't know what's going on, not really, but if you need help, I'll help, okay? If you don't want help, then I won't help." He said, scratching his arm. "But...well...it helps if you aren't all alone all the time. I kind of know that personally." He said, as he took the paper and Mr. Push slapped him on the back. "Right...I suppose it would be a problem if there wasn't someone to pull me out, wouldn't it?" he muttered, somewhat distractedly, as he looked at Ms. Dragonfly again. "uhh...I don't know if you think I'm just a pain or not, but...like I said, if you ever need help, you can call me, okay?" he offered, doing the same thing as Mr. Push with a piece of paper he found in the abandoned alley itself.
  6. "No!" Powerhouse roared, raising his voice for the first time. "I didn't know it then! I was living there. I was their toy." He said, calming down, slowly. "I got away. Recently, but It's not like it wasn't hard. I'm still bruised. I spent all my life there, unknowing of the outside world, not even caring. I couldn't have contacted anyone if I wanted to. I didn't even realize they were doing bad things until I got here. Who was I gonna tell? The Heroes there? They agreed with it." he said, slamming his fist into his palm. "You want me to go now? Tell the police, tell AEGIS maybe? Why? Let's assume they find it, they break it up, bring it down. It probably won't stop them. They had the resources to do everything they did, they can just start it again- whoever they are-, and it'll be right back to square one." He said, shaking his head, and looking north, towards were he had fled. "I'm not strong. Not there. Here, I'm one of hundreds, some stronger, some weaker. there, I'm the weakest of hundreds." He said, grimacing. It was the first time he hadn't appeared either happy or just uncaring. "What I want is to be strong enough to go back and prove I'm not weak, and show them that no matter where they hide, I'll find them, and I'll shut them down. It's not enough to crush their hopes or their spirit. You have to crush their ideals."
  7. Staring at the man he had knocked through the wall, Powerhouse shook his head, his eyes going out of focus, and jogged over to the man he planted into the concession stand and the woman, picking them both up and heading to Dragonfly, putting them down. "Uh...Sorry that I almost broke them, Ms. Dragonfly." he muttered, scratching his head. "I..don't really know what happened there." he said sheepishly. "Umm..I'll eat lunch with you Mr. Push, but I think we should wait and...well, these seem to be Ms. Dragonfly's suits, so I guess we should help her if she needs it first?"
  8. Grinning, Powerhouse reached out for the yellow giant, grabbing him around the left arm and neck, and twisted, pulling him over his shoulder and, with a heave, throwing the man over the catwalk. He made it seem like he was picking up a flowerpot, even though the man was much larger then him, as he threw him to the bottom of the blimp, where the stunned man bounced a bit, then came to a rest. "Done!" He said, grinning at Mr. Gabriel. "Between me and you-" he said, looking around. "I coulda thrown him way farther." He said, before turning around. "But your stuff is way cooler! You're like a...I dunno, like a bird! Or that one music artist that can scream and break a wine glass!" He said, honestly impressed with the man's powers.
  9. Powerhouse raised an eyebrow at the woman's strange actions as she tried to speak. "You should calm down, Ms. Silhouette, you might hurt yourself." He said, with a smile, waving away her statements. "It might sound bad, but I didn't have a life to compare it to, so it's fine. I might have missed out on some things, but at least I'm not a bad guy. And trust me, some of the people who come from there, they aren't the nicest people in the world." he said, remembering Denton and Dallas and shaking his head to forget them. "Plus, I'm learning fine thanks to you and all my friends. It might take me some time, but eventually, I'll be just like a normal person. No one will ever know I was screwed up!" He add, completely serious. "The way I think about it, I get to be a Superhero and help other people. I mean, there are people who spend their entirely life wishing to be Heroes but can't for some reason, but I get to be one." He said, laughing. "Sure, I have to relearn all the stuff I missed, and sure, I might have been one of the few survivors, but in the end, I'm happy to get to be a hero." he said, with conviction, then his eyes got dark. "But, I know what they are doing is wrong now, no matter what they want, and I'm gonna stop it. So don't worry about it, because when I get strong enough, It'll never happen again." he finished, nodding. "I might not feel bad, but I know it was bad, and I'm not letting them keep doing it."
  10. As the new person wandered up and Ms. Jessica grabbed the packages, Powerhouse, standing next to the tree and waiting for information on what he should do with it, looked at the new person, Dead Head. "Hello Mr. Dead Head, I'm Powerhouse. It's nice to meet you. I'm Good, how are you?" He asked rapidly, then grabbed the tree with his hands- remembering he needed to pick it up, and lifting it over his head. "I'd shake your hand, but we can do it inside, can't we?" He asked, looking back to Mr. Push. "So...just bring it inside?" he asked.

    Hero TV!

Interrupting TV is bad! PH will put a stop to this, with some help. And hopefully make a few decisions on his own this time!
  12. "Well...I guess it was an orphanage. I think I lived in one for awhile, but after a few years they just put me in the camp like they did everyone. But no, I didn't have parents, I was in the orphanage or the camp for my entire life." He said, then frowned at being asked why he was there. "I was supposed to be one of the World's Superheroes. I was injected with the genes of someone really strong, then I got training for my powers...in between treatment from others and some of my teachers, we were lectured that all Superheroes besides our teachers were the only true Heroes, that any other person besides us who got Superpowers slowly went insane. They showed ups examples...thousands of them." He said, looking at her, then towards where the statue of the Centurion would stand in the bay. "I left, I didn't feel it was right. Eventually, I got away. I came here, and now." He said, raising his hands. "I see that everything I learned was wrong. It's quite a shock. My history? That's wrong too. There were Superheroes in World War II, fighting for the Allies. I was never told that." He said, almost grandly, sighing and putting his hands down. "It's quite frustrating." He ended, crossing his arms. Even though he called it frustrating, he looked more like someone who had been caught in the rain without an umbrella.
  13. "No, I never had choice." He said quickly, almost right after she finished asking the question. "It was overwhelming, being here and having so much choice. I could go to the store and decide if I wanted one type of food or something different, or if I didn't want food at all." he explained, not bothering to avoid talking about it. "I mean, sure there were times where I could kind of do stuff I wanted to do, but most of the time, I could only do what they said I could, or I was punished. Isn't that how most places with rules are though?"
  14. "I don't know if you can say the world only ends when you want it to." Powerhouse argued, trying his best to make a decent point. "I mean, you can decide for it to end and it does, but sometimes things happen that you don't want to happen, and then maybe your world ends up over and done with and you couldn't do anything to stop it. So really, isn't it that it ends when it ends if you want it to, but sometimes it can end even if you'd rather it didn't?" he attempted to make his point, but even he felt it was a little confusing, but maybe that was just because of what the topic was.
  15. The thread started; Worst New Years Ever, as I forgot to mention. That links to OOC, which contains a summary of the really bad IC post I made while I try to fix it up to be more presentable.
  16. "Right." Powerhouse said, lifting his eyes- he had been distracted with the light show put on by Blake- "its nice to meet you Ms. Jessica, and I'm sorry Mr. Blake, about your powers." Powerhouse wanted to feel worse for Blake, but he did still have powers, so he turned to Mr Push. "Ah, right. Should I take your Fir Tree inside, Mr. Push?" He asked, moving towards it.
  17. Because even I dislike the massive ugly thing that is that first post, I'm remaking it, here's the cliff notes until I can manage to do it; Bad guys break planet, get bored, come to Earth. Boss Bad Guy is retarded. Boss Bad Guy throws a man and a woman off a bridge, the man farther, the woman shorter. He is standing on the Centery bridge addressing his subordinates, and every last one of them looks like aliens raided some dumpsters.
  18. In which I have misgivings about this being a good idea. Participants I know of; Colt, Push, Grim, Sage, Supercape
  19. The man, though not really a man, for he was massive, with brilliant silver skin and a shock of black hair, with green eyes, and looked to be almost 10 feet tall, wearing nothing but tattered green rags across his chest, and a pair of pants with one leg cut off above the knee, with a pair of glowing black rings on his index fingers, laughed, a loud, deep laugh, as he crushed a skull on his head, and it shattered to particles. “SO!†He roared to his assistant, a female similarly dressed, tapping on a keypad. “WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO NOW!?†He asked kicking one of the people he was sitting on when they squirmed under his weight. The creature’s head was bashed in by the blow, causing the color of the man’s tattered, scuffed boot to change. He laughed. The woman shrugged, looking like she didn’t really care at all. “Well, sir, we could stay here and Parteh some more, or we could find some other place.†She offered, looking over a group of even more similarly clothed people taking turns at playing baseball or basketball. The group was very recycle-friendly, and they always used everything from every world they partehed at, so as not to wreck the environment, even if the Basketballs didn’t bounce very well and the baseballs were a bit small. One of them scored a dunk, smashing one of the other player’s faces in by stepping on it to get the altitude required. The make-shift goal- made of bones-, splintered as he dunked, and the rest of the group mobbed him for running the game, tearing him apart and taking his scraps of clothing for themselves. The game slowly descended from a group of people into a mob, tearing and ripping at each other and laughing. The large silver man slammed his fists together, the rings slamming together and causing the ruckus of the brawl- which had spilled onto the baseball field-, to quiet down, then stop, as they turned to look towards the alien, though one of the aliens through the last punch, knocking one of the other creatures down. Hissing, the Silver alien gestured. “YOU, GET UP RIGHT HERE! NOW!†He said, pointing to the man and to the bottom of his throne of living creatures. Stumbling his way through the crowd, the unlucky alien- a shade of purple- stumbled to his knees in front of the throne. “ALRIGHT LISTEN UP! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU THROW LATE SHOTS!†He roared, then walked down his throne, stepping on the heads of the creatures making up his throne, standing over his underling and stepped on his head. Annoyed, he threw back his head and laughed loudly, raising his hands above his head. “ALRIGHT BOYS, LETS PARTEH!†A cheer rose up, as the aliens raised their fists into the air, screaming and hooting their approval. “AND WE’RE GETTING OFF THIS PLANET, its BORIN!†He roared even louder, heading over to a massive amount of parked bikes, old style, with massive front and back wheels and handle bars 4 feet back.. Getting onto the largest one, twice his size, he revved it up, and it floated into the air. The group of aliens all rushed towards the bikes, trampling the slowest of their number underfoot as they rushed towards their bikes. No one got onto one that was already picked, but there were several people without bikes. Indeed, only about ten of the men managed to get on the bikes that weren’t destroyed by the rambunctious group, revving the bikes. “LETS GOOOOOOO!!!†The leader roared, heading into the sky, past the atmosphere and into space without ill effects, his followers heading into space behind him. As they left, the people who had been his throne of living people slowly got up and dusted themselves off, the crushed ones turning back into being uncrushed, and one of them sighed. "Thank Garflex that crazy kid is gone. I knew teens went crazy, but seriously." "Tomar, Ganglo is 48 plaxars." "...I hope he stays gone. Shoulda let the snakes eat him when he was born." the first man finished, then sighed as the people set about rebuilding their planet. It was a calm day in Freedom, the sun was shining, and it was only slightly chilly. So, as was natural for Freedom City, something was about to ruin it. That something was a massive roar that made most people in the area turn down the street, attempting to find what motorcycles would be making such massive noise, but upon seeing nothing, the people on the street could only scratch their heads, until the first bike hit the pavement. The Leader hit first, his bike bouncing as he landed, tearing up the pavement as he revved up the bike and drove down. His ten followers and assistant followed him, though the Assistant instead floated on a small platform. Roaring it to a stop with a massive wheelie, the bare-chested alien roared. “ALRIGHT! THIS IS OUR NEW HANGOUT!†He roared, stomping on the ground. “WHERE’S THIS PLACE AGAIN!?†He asked his assistant, who floated nearby. “Earth sir.†She said, looking across the area. “That bridge over there is the Centery.†She said, looking at a semi-transparent screen. “I WANT TO BREAK IT!†He roared back, slamming his fists into his handlebars. “You can sir. This is our planet.†“EXCELENT!†He roared again, revving up the bike and tearing his way down to the bridge, his followers heading down after him. As the Alien got closer to the bridge, and the people began running as the group of motorcycle-riding bads tore down the side-walk and roads, running over cars, knocking over street lamps, and using the knocked over street lamps to hit mailboxes into windows. The Boss himself, however, grabbed at a man as he rushed past, taking him around the neck and pulling him under his arm. Though the man fought, it was like attempting to claw through steel, and the boss did not even seem to realize the man was struggling, and quickly grabbed a woman as well, leaning back as he steered the motorcycle perfectly with his booted feet. Slamming into the middle of the bridge and hitting the breaks as hard as he could, the Boss did an excellent Doughnut on his massive bike, causing a double-circle as he looked out over his assembled men, all revving the bikes and grinning as he leaned back. Holding the man up by his neck, the Woman by her arm, making them both be a good 10 feet off the ground as the man slowly got off his bike, the boss spoke again, his voice echoing throughout the entire area. “ALRIGHT BOYS, THIS IS….WHERE’D YOU SAY IT WAS!?†“Earth sir.†“RIGHT, EARTH! THIS IS EARTH, AND WE ARE TAKEN IT OVER AND THROWING OURSELVES THE BEST! PARTEH! OF! THE! CENTURY!†He forcibly punctuated every statement with a slamming of his foot into the ground, making a crater. A cheer went up. “AND FIRST, WE GET RID OF THESE UGLY THINGS!†He finished, before throwing the man, straight towards the horizon. The girl he chunked lighter, sending her plummeting off the bridge and towards the water, straight down.
  20. "Awesome. It sounds like so much fun." Powerhouse said, grinning. "But I don't think you are crazy Ms. Silouhette...well maybe a little, you do put up with me." he said, poking fun at himself a little. "But it must feel like a lot of responsibility, to not let them down, doesn't it? How do you deal with it?" He asked, intrigued at the idea of actually not trying to let people down- something he had mostly abandoned many years ago-. "Doesn't it feel like, sometimes, the whole world might come crashing down?"
  21. 2+17=19 Terror Fails his Roll! He loses 2 points of Toughness! It's his turn, so he gets another Will Save to attempt to get over his Paralyze stuff with a +1 Mod due to first failed save. 6+6=12 He fails Powerhouse will then attempt to Grapple him. 11+5=16 against a Defense of 5, it hits. And because of the Paralyzed, he's essentially an Inanimate object for Powerhouse to throw around. As much fun as it would be to throw him through the blimp or something, and given his 100,000 foot tossing, instead he'll just throw him down to the bottom of the blimp, where he can't hurt nobody, which...well...leaves Combat over on this little bridge.
  22. The thread will start on the 5th. I've been trying to come up with enemies that have a 'motivation' instead of just being a super-strong roadblock. I also had to change the enemies around a bit, but it should be nothing serious.
  23. Notes; He doesn't have Light Control as the main power of his Array. This is due to a lack of points. My first expenditure would be gaining another AP, moving Blast to that, and putting Light Control as the main Power  as I am unsure of what Wealth the Albright institute is capable of (Langston himself doesn't even have the benefit, but that's not rare), I simply limited it to a single benefit feat. Exactly what he can get off his Benefit is hard to say, but probably not a lot. I plan to IGNORE all the Tomato and the Mirrors and 'What measure is a non-human' stuff with this character unless it's specifically brought up by others. This character has a different story I'm going for, which is about living up to a Legacy, not 'Am I humaaaaan!?!'.
  24. after discussion within the Chatroom, Pirate House will use his Shock Wave to attack half the minions here. It's an Area cone, and does Strength Mod Damage, for a total DC of 30. However, with a Reflex Save of 10+Strength Mod (15) they only take half damage (7) so; Reflex Save; DC25 if they pass; Toughness Save; DC22 If they Fail; Toughness Save; DC 30
  25. "That sounds rough..."Powerhouse said, not realizing mountain climbing involved all that stuff at all- he thought it was just jumping in the air!-, but nodding. "I kind of get it...though I'd probably end up causing the earthquake instead of being caught by it." He offered as a joke, not really sure how to respond regarding what she was saying- he was having that problem a lot with Ms. Silhouette, he noticed-, and smiling at the mention of Family. "I kind of had a family once...I think. Well...It probably wasn't your type of family, and it wasn't as nice as yours sounds, but I kind of think it might have been one." He said, shrugging and looking at his hands. "But I bet it's lots of fun spending time with them."
