  2. The zoomer changed direction after the impact and slid back to lose momentum as looked back at now unconcious guy on the street. Walking over this time he reached down and tried to pick him up. There was a slight tug as he tried but he managed to get him to his feet and was about to turn and start running a leg appeared off the ground and sweep at his feet which with the sudden acceleration sent him flying forward friend in hand. Looking at the other hero, Silhouette regained her full form before yelling, "Grab him!"
  3. As Silhouette flattened against the ground, her form was almost invisible in the poor lighting causing the zoom to finally stop and take a look. A ganky boy about five seven sat looking around couldn't find her, but really didn't need to as he saw the rather flashy blue caped hero in the distance. Sprinting off he pulled a shoulder into a tackle onto the blue and tipsy hero.

  7. With the phone still in hand looked straight at the person as he flew towards him, and nearly had a brain anerism once he spoke, "Thank you Captian Obvious!" She yelled out as she pressed the send button and held the phone to her ear. She held a hand to his neck and started to count only to find his heart beat irratic. She wasn't a doctor, but she assumed this was abnormal in a seizure victum, though not as abnormal as a skid mark leading up to the victum. She was going to comment as the line went through. "Yes, I need an ambulence at Freedom University over in North End, I found a young man...." She was cut off as something hit her and sent her back a few feet. Landing on her back, she started to glance around and look for the source and noticed that the phone was missing. "What the fu...." She was cut off again with a hit from behind the sent her toppling over the seizing boy. She didn't look up, instead, she flattened herself and sat against the pavement so as not to get hit again by whatever it was that was attacking her.
  8. I think it would be like the Young Imperials, they'd exist, but not in an easily accessed continiuty. I'm sure at some point someone could meet them, but it would otherwise simply be a side setting where we could play our characters in a new way.
  9. Getting down from the roof was not hard, and she did so while only making a light thump with her descent. Still sticking to the shadows she came to the corners when happened upon some random guy who was face first on the pavement twitching, S%@t, Running out from the shadows she quickly went to his and pulled him up from the dirt. Looking at him, he was having spasms, his eyes were unfocused and his was foaming from the mouth. Reaching into his pocket, she grabbed the cell phone and started to dial 911 when she saw someone in the distance. Keeping her hand on the seizing boy, she called out, "Who's there?"
  10. Sherlock Holmes No, but yeah, mystery stuff would be great for such a setting. I can already picture my character, a seamstress in a dress shop with a smart mouth and a lot of high class clients. It'd be fun to do the accents too.
  11. Carrie hung back as she spoke, and let out a light breath before looking at her watch she glanced out the window. "Bus is almost here." Sarah glanced back at her, "Ohh, we should get going then. Have a nice weekend professor." Sarah waved goodbye as Carrie led her out and they went over to catch the bus before it departed. They arrived at Sarah's dorm about twenty minutes later. It was one of the cheaper dorms with only one room, no kitchen and a shared bathroom, but it was still bigger then Carrie's appartment, and much better taken care of. As they got in, Carrie took up the notebook that Sarah had written over and laid on her roommate who had already left for the weekend bed and started to read through the notes. "This guy certianly likes to talk." Sarah had sat herself at a computer desk and pulling out a book for her Radiology classes. "Yeah, he's funny though. Do you understand everything alright?" Carrie laid on the bed and held the notebook over her head, "Yeah, mostly that he seems to have some strange tick involving trying to disprove some other professors on campus. Anyway, I'll can outline the key points just fine, as well as do some elaboration since he seems to get a bit caught up when he gets into talking about Quantum physics." Sarah put down the book and reached into her bag producing a cell phone and a small coupon book, "I've got a deal for two medians, what do you want on your pizza?" "Huh, I haven't had any fruit today, so make it half cheese half pinapple, and tell them not to skimp on the sauce." The shadow of night fell over the campus, and covered it with uncertianty. Fridays were generally spent out and off campus and more near Midtown and other places one would loiter on the weekends but it didn't make it any less dangerous. There had been a break in earlier that month in one of the on campus buildings, as well as an increase in muggings. Though there was some standard investigation on the whole thing as well as an advisement to be on the look out, Carrie wasn't going to sit by while her friend was going to get mug. Luckily she had said that they could leave early tomorrow and go to a local event, which was enough incentive for Sarah to get to bed early enough for her to sneak out. This meant of course she'd be tired as heck tomorrow when she did in fact attend that event but it was a price worth paying. She was able to get access to the top of one of the one story on campus restuarants. It had a decent view of the more open parts of campus, though she'd probably have to look around more thoroughly if she was going to try catch this person but it was a good start. She was covered mostly in shadow projected form the streetlights set around campus, and she was pretty sure no one could see her. It was very quiet on the campus at night, and though she was certian no one was around, the sudden crash made her almost jump out of her skin.
  12. The class ended maybe an hour later, Carrie didn't have any real grasp of time since she blacked out a few times from the combination of boredom and sleep deprivation that was nagging her. Sarah however seemed to have a page full of exact quotes from the professor she had scribbled down. Catching a glimpse at the notes, there was a lot of notice to someone named Liebniz, that was weird, but otherwise it seemed like some pretty solid theory work. Given, as solid as it was, she knew from a glance she'd be spending the whole evening translating the notes into standard English while Sarah worked on homework for other classes, but hey, at least there'd be pizza. As the students stampeded out of the lecture hall to start their weekend, Carrie and Sarah lagged behind so as not to be trampled. Descending the stairs with her friend at her side, Carrie caught the eye of the professor who had spent the last two hours explaining a concept that she already knew since she found an article about it online before she came. She wasn't interested in interaction, but Sarah promptly walked next to her and to the professor asking, "Umm, Professor, do we turn the paper in when we come in for the test next Friday?"
  13. College never changed, it was like high school in that aspect really. All colleges followed a very similar formula of organization, universities especially when it came to how days went. It was only a little after three, so their was literatelly no one except for the few students already free for the weekend simply wandering the campus as most attended the last of the afternoon classes. Carrie wasn't much of an afternoon person today, probably because her normal morning of sleep had been interrupted, plus it had been ages since she'd attended a class. It was very much a lecture type class that was deeply seated in theory. She didn't know if their were more interesting classes she could of attended to get the same thing, their probably were some lab based classes of the same subject, but Sarah apparently was only attending as a point of completely her degree. Of course, it didn't mean it wasn't hard for her. Carrie was sitting next to Sarah half asleep while she looked down at the professor in the front. He was certianly brilliant, he knew his stuff quite well and seemed quite ready to talk for hours on his choosen subject, and as such almost everyone in the class was irrifutably lost. It wasn't the professors fault, everything he said was clear and precise, but lecture classes for a lot of students was where they slept off the previous night. Carrie understood what he was teaching quite well, Sarah was sitting and scribbling all over her book notes about what she assumed might show up on next weeks test, though other then her and a choice few others, the class was more or less dead except for the musings of the excited and eccentric man at the front of the class in a nice suite and a bow tie.

  15. Flying sounded nice, she did love just floating in pools for the summer. Looking over at the twins, she knew they wouldn't. She didn't even dare take them up into the Sentry Statue because of how scared they get. But maybe she would try it one of these days, goodness knows if she kept up her little hobby she might be sent that way by some thugs on Max. "I really don't do anything, not officially anyway. I got out of college two years ago, and since then, I've sort of just been taking a break from it all. It gives me a nice good bit of freedom, though doing nothing does come with a good bit of stress since I have to work regardless. Like watching those two over there." She pointed at the twins who while eating their ice cream started into a poke fight, which with their chocolated coated fingers resulted in them both being covered with brown spots, "And now I'm going to have to clean and launder their clothing as well, given if I phone up my mom, old grandma will probably just suggest I buy the two some new clothes for the day. Goodness knows they'll grown out of those by the end of the month, their the first grandkids, so when they outgrow something, they get something brand new. It was the same with me when I was younger, but only because I was always the smallest, and I always grew at a very steady way. My other sibs, nope, they shot up every three years or so, Trent so much so that he needed to get his own wardrobe as well, Allison in a way that she could fit the hand-me-downs of our older cousins from my mom's side." Letting out a sigh, she looked down at her own outfit. It was a pair of black yoga pants with a red design on the corner with a red trim. Her shirt was a sleeveless red and black striped hoodie. Both of them had been from the hot topic bargin bin, and both of them she had bought a wopping six years ago when they had in fact been on sale. She hadn't actually grown at all since high school, and most of her current wardrobe was the same clothing she had worn throughout college and her senior year in Freedom. "It's a good thing I had at least one sewing class every year of college, otherwise I would of worn my way out of half my wardrobe."
  16. The crowds moved from one area to the next, a lot of them following a pattern of pieces. Very few of them stayed at one piece very long, but one woman spent a very maticulous amount of time observing several pieces. Dressed in a lightly colored tweed pant suit with a light colored blouse, she stayed around and let the currently between wives legacy she was attending with jabber on about some obscure context of the piece that he was trying to grab her attention. The piece itself was collection of pictures and paintings that overlapped each other to make a larger more impressive landscape. The measurements couldn't more then about six by six, maybe six by eight, either way, she knew of just the spot, turning to look at her 'date' she could only catch a glimpse but somehow managed to spot a woman in green who was on the prowl. Though she scoffed at first in recognition, it did get her thinking, Maybe that tarty scanger can be of use this time. Moving away from the painting and too the bar she started ordering drinks so her accompaniment wouldn't miss her when things started to get messy.

  18. The Kirby was an excellant back drop for a gala. During the day it was open for the general public, and usually closed at night, but tonight it had been privately booked for the showing of a traveling collection of both rare and eclectic arts that had been traveling recently around Europe. It was a grand occasion for the arts community in Freedom and tickets had been sold out for several weeks, but that meant absolutely nothing to the well shaped woman in her emerald green dress that covered more then she would of liked it too. In fact, it was almost too easy getting past those sweet security guards into the main hall. Though however tempting they were, she was sure there was better pickings to be had.
  19. When the words Seatle sort of gave her the visual of the woman next to her hanging off the side of the top of the space needle grasping onto the edge of the cape like she was catching a baseball. It was a funny image to be had, but then again, it might make a good poster if she had the time to get the concept design down. Listening to the story further only expanded on the image, a logo faded in the back ground, villians pulling it back, an exploding lair where the cape just floats away and in the very back of it all, the Sentry statue right in the watermark watching as the cape found a suitable owner. When ti came to the end of the story, she had to remind herself she was in fact talking to someone and managed to tune into the start of the last sentence. "Well it can't be any stranger then a spirit of urban development coming out of the rubble to rebuild a half destroyed city that would of otherwise succumbed to rashes of looting and petty crime like what normally happens in the wake of large disasters." The idea that Downtown Freedom City would be a post apotialyptic style wasteland if not for the appearance of hero with no clear origin might of made some people shutter, Carrie just listed off the possibility like she was talking about the weather. "Stuff happens and we as humans sometimes try to give it meaning. But it wouldn't surprise me if their really was no real meaning to any of it, life goes on regardless." Turning to the twins as they continued to eat, she let out a breath and very casually said, "So what's flying like?"

  21. "Only you would get married on Christmas Eve." Carrie sat cross legged in a pair of acid green and black striped tights under a knee lengh black skirt with a green shirt with a noticably lower cut then what she usually wore only cut off by a darker camisol that Carrie was insistant on wearing for the ensemble dispite her sister's protest that it wasn't a dark enough shade to match the rest of the outfit. The outfit itself hadn't been her first choice, but whenever they went out Allison always came over to her place an hour early just so she and her could play barbie and stretch the bounds of what was and was not acceptable wear. The only part of the outfit Carrie had really choosen was the black cabby hat her mother had picked her up from New York, and even then Allison had tried to get her to switch to some barrettes she brought. She was nuerotic like that, she needed everything to match, to be orderly, and symmetrical, which was why Carrie always did little things to bug her like wearing brightly mismatching socks or split her hair more to one side then the other. Today though, Carrie had allowed her the piece of mind that her sister would follow her tidy fashion clothes, and in fact had done a load of laundry of anything that could probably match the night before just so it wouldn't go to a choice between clean or matching like it had so many times before. Maybe she was softening to it, but more likely because this was the beginning of a series of days completely devoted to Allison. Allison Emilia Wendle was getting married in a little under three months to Jared Ralph Turner, at least that's what it said on the wedding invitiations. Carrie was always skeptical about these things, and would never really confirm a marriage in her mind unless it had lasted at least three years. Still, regardless about the so called certianty her sister had about spending the rest of her life with Jared, she was still inevidetably the maid of honor which meant that she would be present for every step of the process. The current process was among the most basic of basics in weddings, choosing out a dress. Not surprisingly though, the selection for dresses made for colder weather set weddings was in limited supply so they had come all the way across town a shop that boasted more classical designs that usually meant the showing of less skin and less cleavage which would work to help her sister from dying of hypothermia on her wedding night. "I still don't get why you can't just have a summer wedding like every other bride in the city, or spring for that matter." From the dressing room, she heard a ruffling as her sister was apparently shimmying into one of the heavier dresses handed to her by the older woman running the shop before replying, "It was the only time his dad could get back from over seas. Plus it makes for a twofer so afterwards we can spend our first Christmas you know, together." Letting out a deep breath, "I'm guessing I can expect a new little monster popping up this time next year?" Allison came out of the dressing room this time, dragging a dress forward with lace sleeves that went half way down the arms and big puffy skirt carpeted with silk. "What do you think?" "Thank god his parents are the ones paying for this." "No really?" Reaching next to her, Carrie took a sip of her coke before answering, "Their's too much fabric." Allison looked down at the dress, "That's the point?" Rolling her eyes, Carrie stood up and walked over, "I mean, there's too much that can go wrong, even if you leave it in the shop most of this material is positively ancient and is likely to tear. Even Mom with her magical sewing machine couldn't replicate half of the lace on this thing, so if anything goes wrong you'll be stuck with seven hundred dollar pile of scrap fabric. I know a General's salary is hefty, but even if his mother doesn't absolutely hate you like most mother in laws it's doubtful she's going to write the check for a replacement wedding dress." Looking down at the dress again she let out a low hum, "I see you're point, but you've shot down every other dress I've tried on." Carrie rolled her eyes again, "I know you want to be warm, but you can barely walk in half these dresses. Plus most of this stuff is rediculously overpriced simply because of the things I mentioned before. Most of these were made by custom tailors and then handed down until they ended up here, even if a lot of them are beautiful because of this they just don't suite your frame because you're at least two heads taller then half of the original owners." Allison looked at her, "You want to go somewhere else?" Carrie let out a sigh, "Well we've been nearly everywhere and you've almost rejected just about everything else. Heck, even I'm not that picky." "But it's my wedding day, it has to be" "Yes, yes, perfect, and you can't just go online because you have to try the dress on ahead of time, and you want to place an order to make sure it goes through. You do realize the only reason we can't find anything is because we're at the end of the normal wedding season right now." Allison looked at her for a second then said, "So, new shop." "Yeah sure, I think I saw one just down the road."
  22. "Of course! The Centurion was the absolute greatest. He was always brave, always good, and could always take on the toughest foe without hesitation, even at the end." She sort of slowed down at the last two words and looked a little at her feet. It had been seventeen years, yet the whole thing still made her sad just looking back. This sadness was interupted by a tug. "Carrie, we need money." She looked down to see the female Em with longing in her voice. This was the same girl who couldn't pronounce her full name yet she had mastered that phrase syllable by syllable, figures. Walking over to the booth she said, "Cup please, single scoop, two spoons, and of course chocolate." There was much rejoice from the twins with the last word as she fished out her wallet and forked over the credit card Carly had given her to cover the twins food bill for the day. After the woman swiped the card, gave her the receit and the cup of ice cream Carrie couldn't of pried those two three year olds off of her with a crow bar. She backed away slowly even with their added weight pulling her down and leaned down ice cream in hand, "You get this, you have to promise, no fighting over it, you have to sit while you're eating this so you don't trip, if you do drop this, I'm not getting you another one, understood?" The two both eagerly nodded their heads with their hands extended now free from their chokehold on her legs. She didn't hand them, instead she walked to the bench and motioned for them to sit down onto it. They followed suite and she set the ice cream between them and handed them each a spoon. She was going to say something along the lines of dig in, but it was unnessicary, because they literally attacked it. Backing up at the scene she gave Mona a side glance, "Those two are going to be diet dynamos when they get older, I pity the buffet that has to face their wraith." She gave a light smile as she looked at the two. She was going to get ice cream as she came over, but for some reason she didn't quite feel like it anymore, maybe it was the mornings pop tart acting up on her. "So, is it true, about the cape I mean?"

Alternate Identity: Etain Maher Identity: Secret Birthplace: Newry, Ireland Occupation: None Affiliations: None Family: Emmett Maher (Father, Deceased), Clarissa Maher (Mother, Deceased), Bugloss and Cinquefoil (Adopted Parents) [floatr][/floatr]Description: Age: 129 (at least going by her actual birth certificate) Apparent Age: 19 (The exact number of years she has been in the Fae) Gender: Female Ethnicity: Caucasian Height: 5'2" Weight: 120 lbs. Eyes: Hazel Hair: Black Etain is very beautiful, even as an infant(which of sort of why she was switched in the first place). She has a rounded face and soft features. She has a very dated fashion sense, usually wearing older(and somewhat heavier) type of clothing, and has a fondness of flowers. Her dark curly hair hasn't seen a pair of scissors since she gotten to earth and is now well past her shoulder and down to her waist. She usually puts it up in a complicated knott, a long single braid, or in costume simply lets it flow down. She has discarded her original costume and made her own. It consists of a short gold dress with thigh high matching boots and opera gloves. The overcoat is is solid black, and the jewellery is costume jewellery she took a fancy too. She wears a rather pointed golden domino mask but otherwise doesn't make much effect to hid her face. Power Descriptions: Being raised by fae, her powers are deeply seated in her ability to create glamour or illusions. However, as she is still only human, she cannot alter her physical form with glamour and her illusions are somewhat flawed as they cannot fool mirrors or technology. She can also follow the presence or trail of magic, and can see it on others as a sort of aura. It can be a bit troubling though, since if their is too much magic, it can blind or distract her from other sights and she can never not see it. History: Etain lived with the Maher's for a total of six days, and on the seventh, she was swapped. Her parents didn't notice the change, and neither did she (how could she, she was only seven days old). She was raised by Bugloss and Cinquefoil, a pair of higher fae who served Titania and lived among the Seelie Court enjoying the spenders of the court and living unaware of her origins. She was taught of everything important to the fae, music, art, food, mischeif, everything she grew up with and never once did she think to venture outside the realm of the fae until she turned fifteen. One of her friends had managed to trick and entrance a human boy who was just a little older then herself into their realm. He was very solemn about being taken from his realm, missing his family and friends that he had left behind and would neither eat, nor join with them in their splender, which led to most of the fae either teasing him or leaving him alone. Though while the others left him, it interested Etain greatly why he was so down, so she asked about his feelings, and got a strange question in return, he had asked her why she was there. She said this was her home and that her family was here. He contradicted this, saying that was not the case. For some reason, he could tell that she like him wasn't suppose to be there. Though she didn't believe him, she still found him interesting and asked him about where he lived. He told her tales of a place with large structures seperate from nature, and strange ways of transportation including the use of dreaded cold iron. It sounded horrible to her, but at the same time, she was curious about the world of humans. He also spoke of what he called heroes, people who did others favors but expected no price in return, that was the strangest concept she had heard of them all. But it did interest her greatly as she listened every day. This continued for about four days, though he would not eat, nor would he drink, he would still talk of his home and his longing to return. She was his only audience, and also, she was the only one that noticed his growing weakness as he refused to indulge himself. Apparently, he had heard from an older tale that if he did so he would never be able to return (which was the first she had heard of such a thing, since they had let people who had eaten their food back plenty of time). By the fifth day, he was too weak to speak, and collapsed. She didn't know why but the idea of him going away frightened her, so she called her friend, and begged that she send him back. Her friend didn't understand why he wanted to leave, and but said that she needed an equal price for his passage or else she couldn't do it under the laws of the court. She offered that she would stay with him for the passage until the end of his days as an equal price. Her friend granted the request and returned him and Etain to the exact place that he was taken, in front of a small house in the West End. It was in that moment that they go their that there was a shoot out between two rival gangs. Both gangs were shocked at their sudden arrival, and one member thought their was a possibility that they were a pair of meta humans so opened fire. The boy pushed Etain back and before she knew it, he was on the floor bleeding perfusely. She didn't understand what had happened, or why had it happened, but she was possitively furious. Calling a large amount of magic, she burned into the heads of every other human their the image of the most horrible monster imaginable. Any of the members who didn't faint on sight fleed the scene immediately leaving her effectively alone with the strange boy whom she hadn't even learned the name of. The ambulences of Trinity hospital took her and the boy away from the scene, she was frightened at first at the cold iron, but found that she could touch it with and only got slight irritation on her skin, so she endured the discomfort and continued to stay by the boys side. He was still alive, albet barely since she was still there, but she had to wait quietly while they took him away. She stayed at the hospital for several days, and just like the boy, Etain refused to eat until she saw him. After the third day, they let her into his room since she was the only one there with him. It seemed that while the time he had spent in the fae's realm was only a few days, in this world it had equivilated to six years in which the boy had been deemed a missing persons case that had long been abandoned. Any family he had, had already moved away because they had already moved on and just wanted to forget. She found out that his name was Demitrius Emil, and that he had liked playing a game called soccer. She also learned, that the combination of his gun wounds and severe malnutrition had put him into a coma. She stayed at his side, partly because she felt bad, partly because she didn't know anyone else. When she was taken to the fae, though it had only been seventeen years there, in this world she had been taken in the late eighteen hundreds, so there was no one there to claim her either. She found out that the boys parents had moved out of the country a little later to live closer to the rest of the family (he himself wasn't from the U.S. but from Nigeria, and only moved to the states in 2000). As the weeks passed, it was becoming less and less likely that he would ever get out of the coma and the hospital was thinking about switching him to hospice treatment instead (something she didn't understand was a bad thing until it was explained to her). She tried to protest, but she didn't have the money, or even a legal idenity herself to try and gain it. It was only then that she met a woman by the name of Cynthia Fowler who offered her house and home as well as treatment for the boy. Though a bit confused about the strangely generious offer, she jumped on it, and for the first time in several weeks left the boys side. Cynthia Fowler, in fact, is actually her adoptive mother Cinquefoil who after learning of her leaving the fae asked for permission to follow to take care of her. She was granted the permission, but under the condition that she could never reveal herself to Etain or any other human. If she breaks this geis, she would have to return to the fae realm immediately. Cynthia came to the human world a few days after Etain, and spent the time first by enticing a wealthy but lonely businessman, and then using his resources to locate her daughter. Though she finds her daughter's attachment to a human strange, she didn't want to see her so sad, so she allowed for the continue care of the human while she looked for other arrangements so her daughter might be attended to in the best care possible. She discovered a human system called school that they used to teach their young their ways, wanting only the best, she found the school for the most special and arranged for her daughter to start attending Claremont. After a year on Earth Prime and her mother's failed attempt on Demetrius's life, Etain has made clear her desire to stay on earth as a human and has been promptly cut off from her previous funding. Not that it matters terribly, her living out of a magical mansion, and with her rather wealthy girlfriend Eve Martel has more then made up for the distance. Though it takes a little effort on her part to keep Eve from outright spoiling her. She also takes jobs as a magician for childrens birthday parties, it's not terribly well paying, but it's something she enjoys and can do on her very charismatic talents, even if she does do a little cheating every now and again with her powers. Personality & Motivation: Etain has changed considerably since she's gotten here, mostly she's not as distant as she once was. No, she loves meeting new people, making friends and learning about the world around her. She's adapted quickly to modern technologies, for example frequently and agilely uses her cell phone to solve problems, and works well around the limitations her weakness to iron puts her through (though she will never, ever ride elevators). She's also genuinely concerned and interested in keeping people safe, especially from other realmers, she knows exactly what rules they play by, and how a lot of them don't see mortals as anything but trivial bugs under their boots. She's also rather gotten used to the general societial rules of this realm, even if she rarely follows them, and is exceptionally aware of her place and that of magics. She hadn't accepted that it shouldn't be appart of the world, in fact quite the opposite, she now hosts a podcast dedicated to informing and warning people about the properties of magic and those who use it so that those who seek the information would find a more reliable source for it. Powers & Tactics: Etain can change the perceptions of the world around her, but she will just as easily intimidate and use the perception of herself to fight. Her looks, and her manner generally do not register as a threat until she has closed the disarming distance and stabbed the person in the chest. Knowing a lot about pain, and battle wounds, she can inflict these onto others easily causing them great pain up to and until the point where they pass out, then the wounds disappear as they were never real to begin with. She will assist greatly with others, providing cover in the form of a thorough concealment that counters against all senses, as well as large scaled detailed distractions. She will also, if she doesn't feel pain is nessicary simply put targets to sleep or lock them in place. Complications: Anchored: She's only anchored to this world as long as Demitrius still lives, the moment he breaths his last breath she's suppose to return the the fae realm. Blinded by the Light: Etain can get dazzled by sites or persons who exude abnormally large amounts of magic. Fish Out Of Water: She is learning how to live with the modern society, but still finds herself confused most the time. This leads her lacking in certain skills, like riding a bike or driving a car. No Untrue Words Will Escape Thy Lips: Etain has no natural talent for any other magic outside of illusion, the reason she has the illusion power is that she paid the price that she would not ever let an untrue word escape her lips, meaning she will never lie nor make a promise she is unable to keep. If she does either of these things it directly detracts from her powers.
