  1. Well Changeling(my character in the works) is probably more inclined, I could probably get Carrie into the casino. I sort of want to do that plot you had to retire because of lack of character earlier as well.
  2. Well we don't exactly have a GM anymore.
  3. Carrie wasn't too put off by the size difference, her hands were notably dainty, so she was used to her's being swallowed (mostly it occured with other family members). "That's a nice name." Though I should probably of heard of it before hand. Maybe I should make a list. She heard the vendor and smiled quietly as she looked over at the two. The vendor was female, so she was more gushing then annoyed. "I'm here for a number of reasons, playing guardian is one of them. Given, those two are only here for the ice cream, I'm more here for him." She looked upward, past Mona, and two the other really large humanoid in the area. His expression firm was he looked into the distance, he looked the same as the images she always saw from the old new reels that she had actually been alive to watch over and over when she was a little girl. "The Statue of Liberty can eat her freaking heart out."
  4. So I need a GM for the thread All Part Of The Show, the villian is Medea, which means we have to get permission from the refs. I'd like someone with some experience, since this is the first really combat oriented thread I've been in. Is there anyone who would like to help me out here?
  5. I think I got most of the things covered, the mask is still a problem, and I might want to give her some sort of equipment, so I saved five pp for that, any suggestions?
  6. Okay, well I lowered attractive some ranks and removed diplomancy, and got that I need to alter some things to meet the caps. Also, the weakness is that she herself can be dazzled by a high concentration of magic(like lets say, Ederich's house). But, before I fill out the caps, I want to try and work out how much the powers cost so I know how much I have to spend on bringing her up to caps or how much I have to take away from the power set. I understand what power she should have based on what I want her to do, I'm just having a hard time determining cost. I know the cost of the ranks for each individual power, but I know I'll probably mess up the math with the things like suggested feats and such.
  7. Power Level: 10PL 150/150PP Trade-Offs: Unspent PP: 5 Gold Status: 0/30 In Brief: A human raised by the fae who has only recently found her way back to the human world. Alternate Identities: Etain Maher Identity: Secret Birthplace: Newry, Ireland Occupation: None Affiliations: None Family: Emmett and Clarissa Maher (Both deceased) Age: 17 Gender: Female Ethnicity: Caucasion Height: 5'2" Weight: 180 lbs Eyes: Hazel Hair: Black Description: Etain is very beautiful, even as an infant(which of sort of why she was switched in the first place). She has curly black hair that goes just past the shoulders, a rounded face and soft features. She has a very dated fashion sense, usually wearing older(and somewhat heavier) type of clothing, and has a fondness of flowers. Her costume looks even more dated then her actual clothing. It is a rather long flowing gown, and a full faced masquerade mask with a matching pair of wings. Most people wonder how she even manages to move in the whole thing, and few realize that the only real part of the costume is the mask that allows grants her fairy glamour that fabricates the rest of the costume as a very realistic costume that will hold unlike her other glamour in the presence of cameras, and mirrors. Power Descriptions: Being raised by fae, her powers are deeply seated in her ability to create glamour or illusions. However, as she is still only human, her illusions aren't as powerful as a true fairy and cannot cause any physical or psycological harm, however they are very realistic and can induce terror that can cause someone to flee or pass out. She can also follow the presence or trail of magic, and can see it on others as a sort of aura. It can be a bit troubling though, since if their is too much magic, it can blind or distract her from other sights and she can never not see it. History: Etain lived with the Maher's for a total of six days, and on the seventh, she was swapped. Her parents didn't notice the change, and neither did she (how could she, she was only seven days old). She was raised by Bugloss and Cinquefoil, a pair of higher fae who served Titania and lived among the Seelie Court enjoying the spenders of the court and living unaware of her origins. She was taught of everything important to the fae, music, art, food, mischeif, everything she grew up with and never once did she think to venture outside the realm of the fae until she turned fifteen. One of her friends had managed to trick and entrance a human boy who was just a little older then herself into their realm. He was very solemn about being taken from his realm, missing his family and friends that he had left behind and would neither eat, nor join with them in their splender, which led to most of the fae either teasing him or leaving him alone. Though while the others left him, it interested Etain greatly why he was so down, so she asked about his feelings, and got a strange question in return, he had asked her why she was there. She said this was her home and that her family was here. He contradicted this, saying that was not the case. For some reason, he could tell that she like him wasn't suppose to be there. Though she didn't believe him, she still found him interesting and asked him about where he lived. He told her tales of a place with large structures seperate from nature, and strange ways of transportation including the use of dreaded cold iron. It sounded horrible to her, but at the same time, she was curious about the world of humans. He also spoke of what he called heroes, people who did others favors but expected no price in return, that was the strangest concept she had heard of them all. But it did interest her greatly as she listened every day. This continued for about four days, though he would not eat, nor would he drink, he would still talk of his home and his longing to return. She was his only audience, and also, she was the only one that noticed his growing weakness as he refused to indulge himself. Apparently, he had heard from an older tale that if he did so he would never be able to return (which was the first she had heard of such a thing, since they had let people who had eaten their food back plenty of time). By the fifth day, he was too weak to speak, and collapsed. She didn't know why but the idea of him going away frightened her, so she called her friend, and begged that she send him back. Her friend didn't understand why he wanted to leave, and but said that she needed an equal price for his passage or else she couldn't do it under the laws of the court. She offered that she would stay with him for the passage until the end of his days as an equal price. Her friend granted the request and returned him and Etain to the exact place that he was taken, in front of a small house in the West End. It was in that moment that they go their that there was a shoot out between two rival gangs. Both gangs were shocked at their sudden arrival, and one member thought their was a possibility that they were a pair of meta humans so opened fire. The boy pushed Etain back and before she knew it, he was on the floor bleeding perfusely. She didn't understand what had happened, or why had it happened, but she was possitively furious. Calling a large amount of magic, she burned into the heads of every other human their the image of the most horrible monster imaginable. Any of the members who didn't faint on sight fleed the scene immediately leaving her effectively alone with the strange boy whom she hadn't even learned the name of. The ambulences of Trinity hospital took her and the boy away from the scene, she was frightened at first at the cold iron, but found that she could touch it with and only got slight irritation on her skin, so she endured the discomfort and continued to stay by the boys side. He was still alive, albet barely since she was still there, but she had to wait quietly while they took him away. She stayed at the hospital for several days, and just like the boy, Etain refused to eat until she saw him. After the third day, they let her into his room since she was the only one there with him. It seemed that while the time he had spent in the fae's realm was only a few days, in this world it had equivilated to six years in which the boy had been deemed a missing persons case that had long been abandoned. Any family he had, had already moved away because they had already moved on and just wanted to forget. She found out that his name was Demitrius Emil, and that he had liked playing a game called soccer. She also learned, that the combination of his gun wounds and severe malnutrition had put him into a coma. She stayed at his side, partly because she felt bad, partly because she didn't know anyone else. When she was taken to the fae, though it had only been seventeen years there, in this world she had been taken in the late eighteen hundreds, so there was no one there to claim her either. She found out that the boys parents had moved out of the country a little later to live closer to the rest of the family (he himself wasn't from the U.S. but from Nigeria, and only moved to the states in 2000). As the weeks passed, it was becoming less and less likely that he would ever get out of the coma and the hospital was thinking about switching him to hospice treatment instead (something she didn't understand was a bad thing until it was explained to her). She tried to protest, but she didn't have the money, or even a legal idenity herself to try and gain it. It was only then that she met a woman by the name of Cynthia Fowler who offered her house and home as well as treatment for the boy. Though a bit confused about the strangely generious offer, she jumped on it, and for the first time in several weeks left the boys side. Cynthia Fowler, in fact, is actually her adoptive mother Cinquefoil who after learning of her leaving the fae asked for permission to follow to take care of her. She was granted the permission, but under the condition that she could never reveal herself to Etain or any other human. If she breaks this geis, she would have to return to the fae realm immediately. Cynthia came to the human world a few days after Etain, and spent the time first by enticing a wealthy but lonely businessman, and then using his resources to locate her daughter. Though she finds her daughter's attachment to a human strange, she didn't want to see her so sad, so she allowed for the continue care of the human while she looked for other arrangements so her daughter might be attended to in the best care possible. She discovered a human system called school that they used to teach their young their ways, wanting only the best, she found the school for the most special and arranged for her daughter to start attending Claremont. Personality & Motivation: Etain is a bit new to human customs, she isn't stupid mind you she understands mathematics, and can pick up some scientific concepts, she's just finds some of the other concepts hard to follow. Growing up in the courts have made her used to talking in circles, and an endless flatterer to anybody she deems more important or more powerful then herself. She's also a bit cold in general, she'll be polite and act nice, but will distance herself and often trick others if it serves her. She feels greatly indebted to Demitrius for what he did, so she tries to emulate him the best she can by helping people when they are in danger. However many times she does this however she still cannot feel that it is enough to return his debt, she may be using it as an excuse in that she finds she strangely feels good about helping people. Powers & Tactics: Etain relies heavily on her ability to change the perceptions of those around her, though her perception of reality is a bit warped in general because of the world she lived in not being nearly as rigid or steely as this strange new world almost all her illusions rely on a nature based theme that is more easily spotted in places around the city. Charming is also a main practice she has with the fae, making her not above luring a man(or woman for that matter) in for a kiss before knocking them out. Complications: Guilt-Driven: She claims this, though after a while, how much of that is true is still debatable. Still, without fail, she will spend every Sunday at Demitrius's side with a fresh pot of flowers. Fish Out Of Water: She is learning how to live with the modern society, but still finds herself confused most the time. Anchored: She's only anchored to this world as long as Demitrius still lives, the moment he breaths his last breath she's suppose to return the the fae realm. 8. Even kneeled down, the woman still dwarfed the three of them (though if Carrie had stood up they'd be able the same height), this continued to make the two children shy, plus the close proximity to the ice cream cart otherwise occupied their attention. Carrie let out a soft sigh before she answered for them, "Their names are Emilia and Emanuel, though I think they should of been named Lashiel and Lucifer." The twins looked at each other before turning back to Carrie, "Ice cream?" She let out another sigh, "Yeah, sure, go to the cart and tell the lady what you want, I'll be there shortly. Also, only one flavor, you two are sharing." They nodded and hurried over to the cart immediately questioning the lady if they had chocolate. As Carrie said under her breath, "Little demons." Standing up herself she looked over at the rather large woman who in costume went by the name Fulcrum. Carrie found it a bit hard to place another name to her, though she was sure she had one. Either way she reached out her hand to the heroine and said, "Hey, I'm Caroline, and those two are the demonic offspring of my older brother Trent."
  9. She smiled as Vance's father agreed to this arrangement, and even more at the little bit of him banishing his son to his room for a good nights rest. That's good, he deserves to get some sleep. Watching him go, she gave him a little wave instead of responding, and then turned to face the police officer. "Coming," Following behind him, she let out a breath as she spotted the little light that cops sometimes put on normal cars. Well this is going to be an interesting ride home. Tucked between the window and it's sill was a folded piece of paper. Written on it in somewhat sloppy cursive was, Vance, If you ever need a hand, don't hesitate to call (I suggest you do this before you actually get in trouble though, it is true that I don't have a car). Caroline P.S. Invest in either an Ipod or video phone. On the other side of it was a phone number, and only two other words, Good Luck.
  10. She glanced over at Vance as his father turned to him, mouthing slowly, note by the window, but stopped once his father turned back towards her. She said without missing the end. "I do not own a car, the neighborhood I live in is a bit unsavory so I wouldn't have the faintest idea as to where I'd be able to park it. I came here by bus, though a ride back would be most appreciated." She wore her brightest please don't leave me out in the cold smile as she looked at him.
  11. She looked at Vance thoughtfully as she was handed the VCR. "Thank you Vance, though I think you might be confused, my name is Carrie." Looking down at the device she let out another light sigh, "I have to admit, I had nearly forgotten about my VCR, but I also wanted to make sure you were alright. I don't know if you know this, but the store's been absolutely trashed and Ms. Lights has gone missing. I was worried something might of happened, and you're the only other person who worked there." Her eyes were drooped, and her voice had geniune concern, she was acting on some level, on another however, she was being truthful. She was worried for Ms. Lights, in fact she was almost certian there was probably something horrible happening to her because of this whole fiasco.
  12. She watched quietly from the window as he transformed back into Vance. It seemed strange to her that he needed the prompt of a video to change back to normal, but she didn't voice this, he had enough to worry about. She tried to get a good look at the thing he unplugging, and she could see that the device itself didn't scream the whole dangerous thing, it just looked like a fancy VCR. It was a bit of a relief, as ignorant as he was, he wasn't completely clueless, and she might of made the same mistake if she didn't know ahead of time what that was. Except, she really didn't know what it was, it was probably dangerous, it granted him some weird power but they still didn't know what it was. That was something that she would need to remedy. She looked at her watch, she had given him five minutes, he probably got dressed and thought she was waiting outside which was true in a sense. Letting out a breath, she went over her lines once more, and then shifted her face from her neutral scowl to that of subtle nerviousness as she as she pressed the doorbell and waited. She heard footsteps, and as the door opened, she met the face of a man a bit taller then herself, "Yes, excuse me, I was wonder if Vance Malloy is here?" ((You can probably play Vances parents as temporary NPCs, given you can give them full profiles if you want later.))
  13. The bus rides weren't very long, maybe ten minutes on each bus, plus waiting time at stops when they had to switch routes. Carrie at one of them used the time inbetween to call and inform an aquaintance whom she didn't opening name of the lair beneath the Video Head. She out a few of details, mostly the involvement of a certian wolf and used her standard name and voice when she spoke to them. She also asked about anyone who she might consult about a sudden mutation of a friend. The voice on the other line sounded skeptical, but gave her a few names to look into and it was around that time their bus came so she gave a quick goodbye and hung up. When they got to the little neighborhood Carrie had subtle waves of nostalgia come over her as she looked upon a two story house much like the one she grew up in back in Georgia. She didn't really mention it, she just looked over at Vance and said, "So, how do we get in? I'm guessing you didn't just walk out you're front door and walk around the neighbor in werewolf mode."
  14. It was a weekday so foot traffic in the park was pretty low. It was also the one day of the week that the Evil Ems didn't have preschool, but it didn't bother Carrie nearly as much now. Now, she was going to see the Sentry Statue, and though she didn't generally gush in public, the Centurion was pretty the the hero of heros. Not that the Ems cared, they probably didn't understand the concepts of heroes or villians, they didn't even understand the plots of the stories and movies they loved to watch and rewatch. They saw colorful moving pictures and songs that they only partially memorize because they think it's fun. Given, she couldn't expect them too, and she could probably try to explain why the Centurion was the absolute greatest hero their ever was, but the only thing on their mind was ice cream. Though she didn't mind that either, because ice cream was always good. The line up of stands was pretty low today, their was a prezel and popcorn stand, a hot dog stand, and last but not least, a stand with the words homemade ice cream with a painted picture of a strawberry scoop that notified the Ems right away which was the one they wanted. Pulling from Carries grip they started to run towards the stand and she let out a small half laugh and smile as she watched them go. Increasing her walking pace to catch up with them, she kept her eyes on their backs so she noticed almost immediately as they stopped and turned running back to her side. Stopping half way, she looked at them, and then up to try and see what prompted a reaction. She saw her almost instantly, she wasn't hard to miss. Fulcrum was one of the heroes of the city who could honestly never hide her disposition out of costume, and she was standing right next to the ice cream stand doing nothing but enjoying a cone. "Is she the reason you guys ran?" She didn't get an answer as each one of them took a spot behind her leg. Her eyebrows raised instantly looked at the two of them this time with a reconizable scrutiny that made them move back a little. "That's horrible, your father's taller then almost every other hero and villian in the city, and you run from the her just because clears the top of the ice cream cart. Both of you are going to go up to her and apologize right now or no ice cream for either of you." They looked a little reluctant, but the threat was clear so they came with her as she approached the woman that dwalfed her by three feet, and them by five, "I'm sorry to bother them, but these two have something they would like to tell you." Backing up, she kneeled behind the two three year olds who had to crane to look up at the heroine in her civilian clothing, "Sorry."
  15. Watching him change was rather interesting, she had never seen actually met a shapeshifter before and the shift from wolfman to random movie extra showed quite a visual difference. The different voice caught her off guard, but it made sense since the boy from the screen definitely had shorter vocal cords. "No problem, now onto the next course of action." Sitting on the loveseat next to him and reaching inbetween the couch cushions she managed to produce a pen missing it's cap and spread the paper out onto the table. After testing the pen on her hand she leaned over the map and pointed it over at a place that was already premarked by a red circle. "This is the nearest bus stop, unless there's a giant robot attacking midtown, buses generally run until two. Where do you live exactly, if it isn't too far, we can go pick it up tonight since I have a feeling at least for now, it'll probably be safer here with me rather then where you live. You also might want to tell you're parents an abridged version of this, after you're back to normal that is. You'll definitely want to keep the shapeshifter thing secret from them, at least until we consult some professionals."
  16. As she spoke again, her natural voice came out as a much more nasual version of the way she had spoken as Silhouette, "Yes, I was, in fact, I was heading over to return those when I found the Video Head in that horrid state in the first place." Carrie pointed over at the small stack of videos balanced on the top of the small tv, all put back into their places and properly rewound. Sitting herself on the edge of the coffee table since their was no room on the loveseat, she listened to his story as she looked over the paper which unfolded revealed a large map with several bus routes. As he finished she looked at him, "Well, if you can turn into someone else, clothing and all, then their shouldn't be any problem getting to you're neighborhood. Though a color video would be best." Pulling off a video off the stack, she turned on her tv and slid it into the black VCR/DVD player hybrid. Picking up a remote she flicked the input to game mode and started to fast foreward through her already rewound video tape two a seen where two woman are interrogating this young boy about an incident involving some missing towels, "That guy should do, it's a fairly old movie, plus he's not built much differently then you were."
  17. It was a tempting offer, "No, it's alright, it's just coffee. But I can always use another number, you never know when you might need one." Reaching into her purse, she pulled out a small memo pad and a pen. "Put your full name, and number please, I think I know like three other Blakes, so it get's confusing."
  18. "Now, that'd be truly depressing, but their are some who just stay down on the street level for crime. It's probably pretty hard though, especially if they live in the area, life here isn't exactly a box of chocolates afterall, because you know what you're going to get, and it's almost always unpleasant." Letting out a light yawn, she looked at her book and then at the time. Maybe the repair guy had come early and the building was finally returning to a livable internal tempeture by now.
  19. Waiting quietly for him to follow, she saw his furry head descend up behind her, it was only then did she enter the window. Through the window from the dark alley, was what seemed to some almost an entirely different world altogether. The main room was only about seventeen by twenty feet, but the arrangement some mismatched furniture gave a good amount of space in the middle that had a small round rug. The furniture included a small tv and stand, a dark orange plaid loveseat with a round wooden coffee table occupying one side, and on the other was a desk covered with an assortment of papers, spray paint cans, as well as various fabrics and a well used sewing machines. The walls were all a somewhat sickly cream color, but but it was barely visible since the walls were heavily decorated in various posters from movies, bands, plays, as well as some original designs printed out on standard computer paper but held close together like a poster. The ceiling couldn't be seen at all, since it was covered with a couple of yards of different colored semitranslusent fabrics that obscured and colored the light coming overhead giving the cheap floresent under it a warm glow. Silhouette moved back through it and over next to the desk where there was an open door leading to another room. She closed it behind her, and the music that had been playing earlier was cut off after a few minutes before she returned to the main room dressed no long in her costume, but in a pair of black pants, and a light yellow t-shirt. She had a folded sheet of paper in her mouth as she walked as her hands were preoccupied with tying her mess of brown hair back out of her face, "So, how much do you know about you're powers?"
  20. She didn't have to lead him very far, maybe a few blocks. They passed several places, but every single one of them had no windows to look in or out of, and anyone who was on the street even may of looked at them strangely for a few minutes, but completely ignored them at once. Silhouette let out a sigh as this happened and checked on CF to make sure he wasn't too shocked by it. It surprised her a little bit the first time she went around in all black, and in any other part of the city someone might of stopped them, but this was the Fens, it among with a few other choice neighborhoods was simply filled with people who had learned not to ignore anything that didn't directly involve them. It was a good stradegy for staying out of trouble, and she followed it for a little while when she first lived here, however at some point she found she just couldn't anymore. Turning down an alleyway quietly, she quickly found a gate that she climbed up rather quickly, then jumped over the top. She didn't doubt he'd have any trouble doing the same as she headed up a fire escape on the third floor and opened a window that let out dim light and the buzz of some soft music.
  21. She put her hand on her chin, there were a ton of variables in this situation. "Don't worry terribly about that their are several ways around that." Walking over to the door, she opened it quietly, "Let's not stick around, there's nothing more to find here, at least not by us. Even if we could find a lead, we can't exactly attack whoever did this. You're far too green for something like that, and I'm not suited for direct combat." Walking out, she kept her pace steady and waited for the sound of his footsteps to follow.
  22. There's nothing like the sensation of being dragged. It was almost never a pleasant feeling, no matter where the point of contact was, in her case it was her arms that were being pulled. Her shoulders were feeling the strain as she kept pace with forward movement, her back as well since this was a special type of drag that not only pulled her foward, but also downward similtaniously at a rather an awkward seventy degree angle. Though this wasn't the worse part about it, the worse part was that as much as she disliked being drag, there was no way she could pull back, to escape the grasp of her captors who caused her so much discomfort. It wasn't that she physically couldn't do it, neither captor was much higher then two foot five, no, she couldn't bring herself to pull back from their grasps because they were about the cutest little pair of three year olds out there and they knew it, those little demons. Emilia and Emanuel(or the Evil Ems as she liked to put it), were the youngest and most energetic members of her family currently occupying Freedom City, and they both absolutely LOVED their dear aunt Carrie. In fact, they loved her so much, that any and all family events with them involved usually resulted in her being their designated guardian while their parents took at a break from the joys of parenthood. Today wasn't like the other days though, today she was tricked. Her sister-in-law Carly had said something important had come up, and that she had to get over there by twelve. Now normally Carrie might of questioned it, but they caught her at eight o'clock in the morning, and only being on her fifth hour of sleep so she was only just coherent enough to agree to anything so that she could continue her trip to dreamland. Low and behold three and a half hours later, she is called again as a reminder and has to get dressed and out the door. It was only when she got to their loft that she was told that the important event was that they were showing the Lord of The Rings Trilogy at the local movie house and they needed a babysitter for the day since neither one of the Evil Ems could be expected to sit through all three movies (Carrie couldn't blame them, since she'd never been able to sit through one). So here she was, in Riverside Park, a convinent place made for loitering that Trent and Carly were nice enough to dump her and the twins off at, and after being squashed inbetween the two carseats in the back of the compact car they refused to upgrade to a proper van until it stopped running completely she was happy to stretch her legs a little bit. But she wasn't doing that at the moment, she was bending her legs, and arching her back, and losing more and more energy as she was dragged by a three year old in each hand. They were mumbling in their high pitched voices incoherently about swings or something which probably meant she was going to spend on a play ground being eaten by every bug in the forest while chasing these little monsters up and down some slides. Letting out a light sigh as she was pulled along she spotted a bench, and figuring she might need her back and legs for the next few hours she straightened up pulling them back with her, and plopped down onto the smooth wood. She was met with scrutiny in the form of two pairs of eager eyes, "Come on Carrie, we got to go to the park?" She was leaning back with her eyes to the sky so she hadn't seen which one had said this since they both sounded so similar when they were excited. "You got to give me a few seconds, I'm not nearly as flexible as I used to be." Neither one of them actually understood what that meant, but Emanuel was the first to break after about twelve seconds of silence by giving her hand a tug. "Let's go!" She sighed again, but they didn't notice it as she got back up and did some preliminary stretches to prepare her for the next round of toddler induced dragging. It was then that she caught the sight of it in the distance. A small smile, started to etch itself into the corners of her mouth as she looked over at it and then at her brother's offspring, she said in a lighter and very sun shiney voice that she often used with younger kids to give a sense of excitement, "Hey, you guys want to go see the Sentry Statue?" She was only met with more crutiny as Emilia spoke up this time, "No, let's go to the park?" She nearly rolled her eyes, park to them was synamis to playgrounds, and no one bother to correct them, either way she said, "You know the Sentry Statue is a pretty popular tourist destination, they often have food stands stationed there to better move product, and I'm sure at least one of them has ice cream." She needn't say any more, because their eyes lit up instantly with the last two words, and they both said almost similtainiously, "ICE CREAM!" Now all three pairs of legs were moving in a new direction. Carrie was no longer being dragged, in fact she had to slow her pace to match their's because of her longer stride and new found bounce in her step.
  23. Listening quietly, she heard his story, the way he relived the whole thing. It seemed to hit him hard, this was probably the first time he had really thought about the whole incident in context. When something like that happens, you don't generally think about it right away, there's always a period of shock. Also, he must have guilt now that he just realized he drove his boss's car into a river, which she had to say was rather interesting in of itself. She was about to go over and try to comfort him when he started talking about the thing he brought home. A VCR? A VCR caused him to change into a wolf thing. That could be seriously dangerous stuff, maybe not with him using it, but someone trained, someone who could fight or even had the slightest bit of killer instinct could use it for something serious. It was now she walked over to him, and put her arm around his (because his shoulder was too high) and started to pat him quietly, "Okay, it's okay, they were looking for something, but they didn't find it, so instead kidnapped Ms. Lights to try and see if she had it hidden somewhere else. Now, as long as they don't have whatever they were looking for, they won't kill Ms. Lights, they still need her. If this VCR does what you says it does, that probably means that's what their looking for. " She gave him a tug so she could face him, though she really couldn't move him on her own she walked over to the side where his face hung. "We need to go back to your house, and get the device that made you like this. We have to take this to someone who can maybe figure out what it does, and why exactly you've changed like this. You don't have to tell them who you are, you don't have to explain why you have it, we can just say we found it in some hidden space when we examined Ms. Lights hidden lair. Either way though, we have to figure out what exactly this has done to you, and what side effects might come with it. There is always a price to pay for power, be it time, freedom, or even sanity, given, the last one in your case is rather doubtful if whoever broke in wanted it so badly."
