Guardian got wrapped up by Powerhouse's coils, but managed to snap free of them, with one of them breaking in the process. About to wind up and charge again, Guardian stopped what he was doing when he heard grunts, yelling, and screaming, and turned towards the crowd, who had spontaneously broke out into fighting. Attempting to stop them yielded no useful response, except for some demoralizing responses, such as "Hey, I'm on your side, this guy was talking trash about you", or "What, you guys can fight but we can't? Forget you!" Looking at what was going on, and realizing his no small part in it, Guardian fell to the floor of the stage, on his knees, looking at the damage with a unhinged jaw and wide-eyed stare, totally defenseless.
  4. OOC note: I have permission to just break the grapple so we can move on. Also, due to an error that was just caught, I should have been snared earlier. As such, I'm giving Powerhouse one of my two HP's.
  5. Guardian flew through the hallways as fast as he could, the dust and debris previously stirred up from earlier trailing behind him. Bursting through the doors to the central lab, where he heard the roar, he saw Sparksmith and someone he hadn't seen before on one side, and someone who looked like the guy he knocked unconscious just outside, except that he was covered in muscles, quite large, and looked like a photo negative, all of which was fairly intimidating. That being said, he went up and punched the brute as hard as he could, and got an unexpected surprise. "Ow ow ow ow OW! That's HOT! The others I didn't even feel, how did this one get through?" Shaking the hand he used to punch with in the air, he just kind of floated in front of the hulking guy, stunned by the very unexpected pain.
  6. Save vs. Aura: (1+14=15) Ooh, it just HAD to be a 1, didn't it. I failed by 5 or more, so I pick up a bruise and am Stunned.

    I am...

Let's see. When you get a chance, could you do Guardian? For convenience, here's a general description. The material is the non-shiny type. The torso is white, while the limbs are blue (regular to slightly light blue), as is the head. Only the eyes are uncovered.
  8. Guardian Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 Attack, -5 Defense) Free Action: Power Attack (+5 Damage, -5 Attack) Move Action: Move into central laboratory, then up to Anti-Leibniz Standard Action: Attack Anti-Leibniz (16+6=22)
  9. Not actually having heard Sparksmith's yell to not blow, over the whooshing in the hallways, Guardian went back and gave a quick punch to knock out the man in the cage, to prevent him from getting loose and attacking the other people. Following that, he decided to fly through the university, bits of debris, smoke, and soot sticking to his face while he was doing so. As he was checking around to make sure he wasn't missing anyone, Guardian overheard a loud, somewhat deep growl coming from down the hallway. "Oh joy. That sounds fun. Well, I guess I better go see what's causing it, it doesn't sound like those glowing things from before."
  10. Notice check: (6+9=15). Using HP to reroll. (1+9=10+10=20)
  11. Guardian Move Action: (As part of Move-By Action) Guardian goes inside the university, checking rooms until he can't move any more or finds something of note.
  12. Guardian Burning an HP to prevent Fatigue. Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 Attack, -5 Defense) Free Action: Power Attack (+3 Damage, -3 Attack) Move Action: Move up to Leibniz. Standard Action: Attack Leibniz (11+8=19) ((I'm not done with my turn, I'm waiting until I know the results of my attack before I take the rest of my turn.))
  13. Watching the firemen, Guardian had a thought running through his head: "I wonder if I can blow out the fire, like I've heard some stories about. Maybe if I use the hallways as funnels, I can carry it down to the fire and extinguish it. Well, there's only one way to find out." He flew up to the entrance, took a deep breath, exhaled, and... nothing. "Come on, come on, focus. I can do this, I know it!" Taking another, super deep breath, he exhaled with all his might, and as hoped, wind blew through down the hallways, scattering paper, dust, and bits of debris as it happened.
  14. Guardian Free Action: Using Extra Effort to add the Super-Breath feat to the Super-Strength power. Move Action: Move to doors leading to entrance. Standard Action: Use Super-Breath down the hallway, and move back near the cage.
  15. Guardian, feeling a VERY pressing need to get these two "radmen", a simple enough designation for them, out before they hit the fireman again. Only holding enough back to not do any permanent damage, he hit the first one, the one that hit the fireman. He knocked him out cold, and feeling a surge of energy from the KO, hit the other one as well, putting them both out for the count. Only then, did Guardian notice another one, inside a cage, with the little note from Sparksmith, chuckling a bit as he saw the little bow. Finally, he decided to move over to the cage, to get out of the hose's spraying area.
  16. Guardian Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 attack, -5 defense) Free Action: Power Attack (+5 Damage, -5 Attack Standard Action: Attack the Radman by the fireman. (17+6=23) Free Action: Takedown Attack (If the first attack knocks the Radman out.) (8+6=14) Move Action: Moving away from the hose.
  17. Giving a somewhat harder punch to the first crazed glowing man, since the situation got a little more dire and there are uninfected civilians on the scene, Guardian K.O.'ed the first guy, and flew up in front of the three firemen, putting himself between them and the two new full body Rudolphs. "Listen, this isn't a normal fire. There seems to be a radioactive plague of some sorts inside. If you get hit by it, you seem to be infected. I'm fairly strong, which is why I think I'm not being affected, but you'll only compound the problem if you go in there. There's also some serious radio interference coming from inside, so I don't know if there's even more danger in there. I don't mean to be rude, but the best thing you can do is to get back and evacuate the area, and if you see anyone glowing, do NOT touch them." Sighing, Guardian continued. "Listen, I should be able to stop the fire, somehow. Please, run crowd control."
  18. Guardian Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 Attack, -5 Defense) Free Action: Power Attack (+3 Damage, -3 Attack) Standard Action: Attack Staggered Radman 12+8=20 Move action:Put myself in front of the firemen. Will interpose if they are attacked.
  19. Guardian, overhearing what the woman that Sparksmith rescued, had to say, sighed. "Well, crud. I try not to have to do this, but it seems we'll have to take these guys out of commission before this spreads. Hey, Sparksmith? Glad to see you again. Anyways, I'm going to try knock these people unconscious. I don't like it, but it seems the quickest way to prevent them from attacking others. When I do, do you think you can contain them until we find a way to stop this?" That being said, Guardian went up to the red glowing man, and tried to make sure it hit. Not hitting as hard as he could have, Guardian landed a punch on the crazed man, yet, to his surprise, the red man was still standing. Turning back towards Sparksmith, Guardian yelled "Yo, Sparks! The glow seems to be making them tougher! Just a heads up."
  20. Right, then. Guardian Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 Attack, -5 Defense) Move Action: Move up to Radman. Standard Action: Attack Radman. (2+11=13)
  21. Guardian was flying around Midtown, enjoying the weather as much as he was patrolling, looking at the skies above and the people below, the sun's rays gently falling onto the city and it's inhabitants, when suddenly static crackled through his head. "AH! What on earth? Is someone playing STATIC? It seems to be coming from... the university? Either something serious is going down, or I'm going to want a word with them." Turning to see the source, Guardian found a large pillar of smoke, instead. "Whelp, it looks like one of those two possibilities is out. Better go lend a hand." And with that, Guardian was off like a shot, arriving at the university in just a few seconds.
  22. Guardian's edits: 2 PP to spend, I'm adding the feats "Move-By Action" and "Luck". Also, I meant to put this on when I first made the character, but the general descriptor for all the powers is "Alien, Biotech" Done by AA

The whip attacks flailed wildly, completely missing Guardian. Focusing on winding up for another punch, not really paying attention to the change in the charge, Guardian uppercuts Powerhouse. The blow landed square on the jaw, but as he connected, he felt a weird, slightly painful sensation in his head. His face grimaced, as he thought to himself, "Ow. Ok, not sure what that accomplished, outside of giving me a headache, but... Oh no." Realizing that he had lost his imperviousness to damage, he decided to fly back to the other end of the stage, both to put some distance between himself and Powerhouse, and to wind up for another charge.
  24. Three things. First, Bruise only affects your toughness saves, you take a -1 penalty to saves against my attacks now, but nothing else is affected. Second, yes, a 1 is a definite miss. Third, what does it mean by "Coils Attack DC 25"? Anyways, Guardian's turn. Guardian Free Action: All-Out Attack (+5 attack, -5 defense) Free Action: Power Attack (+5 Damage, -5 Attack) Standard Action: Attack Powerhouse (16+6=22) Save vs. Nullify 10: (7+7=14) Failed Move Action: 200 feet, to the other end of the stage.
