  1. I'm thinking of giving my character the disability of being not able to walk. He'd autofail Reflex saves and defense checks against melee as long as they didn't roll a natural 1, and of course he wouldn't beable to get around with out a wheelchair. How much of a drawback would this be?

    Also, I'm thinking of running a shop that the character would also live in. Would this count as headquarters?

  2. Sorry if this constitutes hijacking the topic, but I have similarish questions. You say to use Artificer you have to RP the creation, correct? Now, what's the time limit on use of the items? What's the limit on number of creations? Say I wanted to make a magical wand of healing and a magical wand of shooting, would the second one cancel out the first one? If not, could I save one for one encounter and use the other later or do they both have to be used at the same time? Lastly, what the limit on power of the items?

  3. Even though UP indicates that it's allowed, I think it's an abuse of the flaw.
    It was needed for the character I was thinking about. Point wise, at least. :)

  4. I have an idea for a character that assumes different animal totems. First, I want to know if I'm unintentionally ripping off any current characters. Second, I plan to build the power like so:

    Alternate Form 30 (raven)(Flaw: Duration 3 [full round])

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (bear)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (eagle)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (insect)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (leopard)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (lizard)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (monkey)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (serpent)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (shark)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (spider)

    AP: Alternate Form 30 (wolf)

    Wondering if that was cool with the rules.

  7. 1. In order to reduce the record keeping involved (extensive record keeping is the death of PbP, IMO) the rules say that all minions have to have the same stats, thus the "Type" extra is excluded.
    3. We would probably allow two different versions of summon to be bought as APs, but not with other powers. The purpose of rule #5 is to put a premium cost on minions and thus discourage them.
    Hmmm... I see where the bookkeeping nigtmare would come into play. So you're saying if I bought Summon Minion it would be one exclusive minion, and that each AP would be another exlusive minion. Am I right?
