Emissary just flew apace with most of the others, looking over Freedom Hall with an open curiosity once everyone arrived. "Are we to wait, or simply proceed ahead?"

He reciprocates the various offered handshakes with a smile. "I am quite pleased to meet each of you." He pauses at the last question asked of him. "Well, to my gratitude for having been so sent to it, the city remains a marvel to me, I think that I could spend many years here and there would still be wonders for it to reveal with each dawn."

To be honest, it's sort of a personal preference of mine not to set up antagonistic rp with people that doesn't come out of things that happen in play. It's just a thing of mine.

Emissary, as it turns out, while clearly coming from a completely different etiquette, handles himself well, either being extremely adaptive as far as the functions he has attended to date, or just from that he can manage conversations engagingly off of force of personality. He does give Richard an ocassionally thankful look when he can outright feel bypassing people who's questions to him would have been entirely more bizarre and off putting, as much as they were a part of why this society periodically invited him to their gatherings. "I actually have not. And that sounds quite interesting."

Oh, if this is still for self introductions and not, uhm.. for catfight hopes (though for all I know, it could be for both!).. I'm a student finishing a journalism degree in Toronto, been sidelined from my usual hobbies for a bit for having had to adjust my life to dealing with Crohn's disease (though it's under control now), own a lot of M&M stuff from 1E onwards and I've been looking forward to a chance to play for a while, as with my own local table top group we only do supers rarely. That and I'm almost always the guy that runs, and requests are generally for anything but superhero type games, except for a freakishly exceptional Aberrant campaign I managed to run for 3 years. And it was very far from a superhero sort of thing, unless Planetary counts.
