Velocity waited until the initial rush of air out of the plane had ended and the interior had pressurized before taking off her seat belt and moving over near the exit. Looking over at Raindance, she gave him a smile. “Okay, ready to go.†She then looked back at Valkyrie and Emissary as Val wished them luck. Giving the other girl a thumbs up, Velocity smiled. “Thanks. Good luck to you guys as well. We’ll be in touch.â€Â

Due to the Elusive Target feat in her Strike power Velocity's deffense for any of the other bad guys to hit with ranged attacks is currently at 33 (without the precise shot feat, one rank making her defense 29, and two completely negating the elusive target feat)

When Daedalus finally contacted them she was happy for the distraction, focusing on the monitor near her when he sent them the satellite images. “Check the hangers, got it.†She said as Daedalus explained what they likely could be. “If they are full of stored robots or a factory, how little damage would you like us to cause?†She then asked. When he mentioned getting them telemetry on where to land, she then thought of an idea. “Why land?†She said to Daedalus and all the others at once. “Emissary can just fly us to that distance and Raindance can fly us both down towards the base. Then Em and Val can just head to space. We might even arrive at both destinations at roughly the same time, depending on where the satellite is and how fast Raindance flies.â€Â

Emissary and Val can then head towards orbit. I do believe the write up for the Pegasus Plane states it has VTOL capabilities and can hover.
