Operating almost without cessation from the 1940s to the present day- excluding a stretch from the 80s to the early 90s- the Freedom League has been the world's primer superhero team for almost it's entire inception. While originally based in Freedom City, their reach has expanded over the past few decades, with an orbital satellite Lighthouse over Earth to watch over the entire world. While they are no longer based in Freedom City proper, the city still holds a special place in the hearts of many of it's members, who draw their history and younger days from the City of the Future.
Over the recent years, many of the elder statesmen of the League have retired with dignity and grace, some even passing away, renowned heroes all. As such, the current roster of the league looks quite different from the historic leagues of the past, and currently consists of the following members;

While the League at one point operated a secondary 'Auxiliary' Team for more obscure or difficult to engage with cases, this section is currently deactivated.
